Rock n roll pretty much ended when the grunge scene apparantly changed the world forever with its anti this and anti that crap yet they were exactly what they supossidly hated so any hopes of rock n roll bring central again what with all the shit that’s being called music right now I’d not be at all suprised if bands stoped making music alltigether to be honest
When kids form bands and those bands break then they'll be a rock scene again. Now it's just old bands and old fans! Kids these days are doing urban type music of one style or another
@@joehobbs3277 Are you sure? When was rock NOT anti something? It was built on rebellion: from parents, the status quo, war specifically. All of that predates the 90s grunge movement, if anything. Such is the way with succeeding generations tendency of aiming the power of a thing (in this case rock music) toward issues that need addressing, only because that it's been proven efficient and powerful at doing so. It exists and is still alive. If you're longing for the days of excess and abandon as exhibited in the late 70's or the smoke and mirrors of the big hair band 80's era, that's legitimate and valid. The amazing thing is that rock music, for all it's rebellious posturing, is and always will be multifaceted. Now, to your specific point of it being relevant, I believe it will cycle back again in prominence; just don't expect it to sound like what it used to.

Thanks for finally asking him about the VH1 rock honors. I’ve been hearing for years that this is what Paul is mad about. I’ve believed ET knows that but he spins it as being a “makeup” issue. But, Paul didn’t like him bringing Ace into show. Paul wanted it to be about current Kiss. Ace also fell off the wagon that night which was He acknowledges it was an issue. But, that’s the reason some think he stuck his head in Kiss’ business and Paul had enough of his meddling. I like Eddie, but I’ve been disappointed he’s never mentioned this. Just the makeup problem. Which I agree with him btw.
I get the point. But at end of the day kiss could of easily had that nixed. They could of told vh1 we don't want ace there and if he shows we don't play. I think reason Paul dislikes Eddie back about 10 12 years ago Paul was on eddies show. Then a week or two later he had Sebastian Bach and Jericho in studio. And they were making fun of Paul relentlessly hinting he is gay and other stuff. I think that could be reason too I think it also could be that Paul is a rock star with a big ego and might think eddies ego is a little to big and Paul decided to check it for him. Put him in his place if you will
@@mr.brenman2132Paul did a Radio ID saying “To my loyal friend and fan Eddie Trunk” or something along those lines, And then pretty much the next day bailed out of an event to avoid having to interact with Eddie.

I love Eddie, but him saying it didn't sound right is crazy. As long as Paul and Gene are there its going to sound like Kiss. Those shows in '08 were awesome.

Perhaps, the essentials and pragmatic qualities of Rock help people dissipate all the BS around.
