Wow. I have literally never thought to use the selection tool that way.. I make things way harder on myself! And omg. Thank thank you for including a “cheat sheet” for the brushes. You have no idea how much that helps. I wish procreate had an option to save the brushes you use in a certain project. So many times I go back and look and try to recreate something but forget what I used to do it..

Hi, I bought the brushes and I’m really enjoying working with them. Quick question. If having work printed on slightly textured paper (Hahnemuhle photo rag) would you advise removing both texture options before sending for print or is it better to keep the basic texture and just remove the paper background? Thank you

It is kind of limiting if you want the texture you have to use your canvas. I have tried several times to copy the layers Watercolor Texture v5 to another canvas and it just doesn't work"
I'd like to resize the template for larger works but the texture layer doesn't follow along. If I unlock the layer and try to transform, it stays locked. And I'd like the option to work in CYMK.
I've tried multiple times to message you in creative market but the message hangs.
Can you help (with the template, not Creative Market)?

When I use the sharp round brush exactly the same as you do it doesn’t give me that feel of water color effect were the leaves get lighter and darker as you press! It’s all the same tone of color which is really making me frustrated. I tried everything to make it look like yours but there is something wrong with the brush, please help

Hi afraa! We solved this by email, but I want to post it here, too, just in case someone else has the same problem. It was solved by updating procreate. The latest version of this watercolor kit requires at least procreate 5 in order to work properly.
I guess there was some incompatibility thing going on with newer brushes and the older procreate.

I'm new at using an IPad and Procreate for producing artwork, but I would love to work in watercolor on my Ipad, particularly in Procreate. I'm a bit confused about "purchasing," watercolor brushes? If I purchase a set other than the ones I already have with Procreate, and use them to create paintings in Procreate, am I not permitted under the license agreement required by, Creative Market, to sell my artwork? Do they own my work because I bought the set from them? And, am I restricted to the number of copies of my pieces that I can sell? Thanks for clearing this up a bit. I am enjoying your explaination during this tutorial. Good work!

Judith A Rowland you can do as you please with your brushes bought on Creative Market, except for reselling them. I am pretty sure the licenses work differently with stock images, but brushes are just a tool, they absolutely do not own your work and you can sell as many copies as you want of your art :)

I imported the brushes but cannot import the procreate file since my device is not compatible with it. I tried to draw on my own file with the brushes but cannot create same water color effect as your video showed. You could make the texture layer a clipping layer and adjust opacity

Daniel Danton this one is MUCH better! And you can use texture. Procreate doesn’t give textures. And now digital work looks like real watercolors on paper!
