4th Gen Floor Console in 3rd Gen Ram - Rough In

Tools:
•1/2" or 13mm offset box wrench or passthrough sockets - these are for the 6 bolts holding in the jump seat. There's little to no clearance for a rachet *unless you have a pass through set.
•7mm socket - this is to remove the screws that hold the sides on to the superstructure.
•TT20 Torque head - this is for the screws in to the sides from inside the storage box
•Saw or cutting disk - I used a rotary saw with a wood blade because it was handy, but just about any power saw would work provided you have a steady hand and a are able to steady the side panels.

Just got a 4th gen console after seeing this video probably just gonna keep it like this and not even bother securing it down. Having my arm on the armrest should be good enough 🤣

@@georgecastro6596 I cut it exactly like the guy did in this video and it stays in place completely fine with nothing additional holding it down. Even swinging the armrest storage lid open doesn’t make it budge. I do have a little bit of a gap though between the front of the console and the cup holder panel in the dash so I’m gonna try to work that out.

No, just wrapping up work, then headed to Texas. Should get back to it in late January. However, even without the mounts it's pretty solid and I've been using it as is without any issues.
