Yo just wanted to say I appreciate your vids they've helped me out a bunch. Got my first diesel a few years ago (2008 dodge ram 3500 6.7 diesel 4x4 mega cab dually Laramie resistol edition) did a full delete and have been upgrading it ever since. Stereo was a challenge and still is but its nice to see a what somebody like yourself has been through and showing part numbers was a big help because these trucks are awesome but also a pain in the ass because it was a time where technology was in a transfer. So keep on doing you bro, thanks man.

Thanks for posting this, this is a big help. that looks really good too!! i'm in the process of doing the business console install right now (along with new carpet, seat belts, and weatherstripping). I've been trying to figure out what self-tapping screws to use for the middle part. 2 of them attach to the metal frame and 1 attaches to the cab floor.

You know they have a safe for 3rd gen rams for that big spot under the arm rest, I have an 05 and it fits and looks good, you can get it with a key or combination lock, I chose the keys, and it works fine for personal info, or use it as a gun safe so that children can't mess with it, but anyway nice job on the console👍

Did your 12v outlets work? I bought an 06 megacab a few months ago. The previous owner bought a new old stock business console ($800!) about 6 months ago and installed it but the outlets don’t work. He also didn’t put the rear vents in from his jump seat. I was going to pull the console to fix both issues (he gave me the center seat so I have the vents).
Where is the plug located on the business console for 12v outlets? I didn’t know you could just pull the rear piece off where the vents go. Maybe I can address both issues from that point and not have to pull the whole console out.

I have the same set up and I’m missing the compartment above the rear vents. I contact the local dodge dealer to see what that was or even what it’s called and they can’t figure it out even running my vin number. Is that just a small storage compartment? I can’t find nothing on the internet for the replacement part.

Literally got one of these 2 days ago off a guy parting out his 06. Only paid $50 for it with all trim pieces lol i pretty much stole it. He obviously wasnt aware of how much theyre worth. I got lucky lol

I have that console and trying to modify the 4th gen seats to be able to keep that console in, has been a real bitch! But haven’t gave up yet because that’s how bad I want both the seats and console in my 06 single cab

There’s a few places that put factory OEM style and fit quality sunroofs, slide cover, OEM buttons and all. I just learned/ seen that recently. All the aftermarket ones I’ve seen before weren’t motorized and had no sun slide cover.

My truck came with that and a sun roof. Sun roof leaks water from the o shit handles wish I didn’t have one.
