Wow there's a mod now! All of the tracks from this video have been implemented into the PC version of Persona 4 Golden. Link to the mod in the description, along with links to my Google Drive. Also, I'm working on remastering the tracks I missed in this video! there were more than I thought lol. I didn't actually notice any major changes UNTIL, I heard Studio Backlot. It was SUPER noticeable, it felt scarily clear?? Same for all the dungeons. I remember Castle being really grainy, being the most noticeable change of them. SNOWFLAKES also had a lot of it's distortion removed on the louder parts, and Memory. I'm aware that Memory has purposefully grainy instruments but it still felt refined. True Story still has a little bit of an issue to it but the vocals sound clearer and slightly louder.
wow! awesome ear for detail! yeah, pulling out that clarity was really my number 1 objective in this, so I'm glad you found those tracks to sound a little less distorted and grainy! really appreciate this comment lol. and yeah, True Story was BY FAR the most difficult track to work with lol. It sounded like it was produced in an entirely different way from the rest of the soundtrack. so i really love that you picked up on that lol.
"Studio Backlot" is actually called "Backside of the TV". Not sure why this guy changed the name. Also, the song sounds way worse here - so much crackling etc. Snowflakes is nice though.
@@nonUomoFoglia I listen to the soundtrack daily on Spotify, i definitely notice a difference. It may be harder if you’re not a frequent listener, but my headphones definitely notice a big difference in quality, especially the dungeon soundtracks.
@@chronica6457 i mean its closer to a remake then either of those. And they're all better than the originals. I dont like the old muddy mixes, but P3D cleaned most of those up if you want to call those remasters, still most arent as good as reload's

lol that's okay, no offense taken! I try to ride the line between making changes and having those changes be subtle enough that it doesn't change the character of the music. I don't really want to be putting out video game remixes lol. But I put every track through the same process, tweaked for what each song needs: EQ, Compression, stereo imaging, and some saturation; adding brightness, fullness, warmth, etc. I really enjoy how this version sounds! but I am just one person lol. and yeah, P3R really got me in the mood for making this lol. Still in October in that one! Gotta finish it soon.

@@drenched.0224 im noticing some weird mixed elements in the originals that make my ears hurt (like in Time to make history, theres a snare thats sounds weird and hard), but in this remasters its soft without losing quality and my ears love It, so yeah, give us some time to experience and notice all the details on your great work :D

This is super cool! Maybe you should consider adding the second verses of Reach Out to the Truth and Time to Make History? I feel like that's the only thing this game is missing (I'm not in the camp of the people who think this game needs another remake). Maybe someone already made a mod for that, I'm not sure. I get it if you wanna preserve the way it was originally with only one verse. It just gets a bit repetitive during battles, in my opinion.
