I'm a huge fan of the Pro Diver. I have a few in different colors/straps. I don't worry about what anyone else has to say about my watch. It's mine, I like it and it's my money. People invest too much into what other people think.
Nice watch! I have several Pro Diver Invicta watches. I have a Pro Diver that actually came with the NATO Zulu styled straps (one grey and one grey/black striped). I love that watch. After 5 years, I’ve had no problems with performance or reliability whatsoever (knock on wood!).
Great video great watch I have three pro divers can not fault them for the money paid in UK £70 .my oldest is now eight years old had it serviced by Invicta Holland great service runs about 10 seconds slow a day.cant complain a bout that.
The NATO strap only adds to make the watch sit higher on your wrist. I prefer the original bracelet. Nice review. I just received mine in black. I ordered the 8926 but they sent me the 8926OB like the one in the video. I liked it, I kept it. I am testing the accuracy, and Geez it was like 4 minutes slow in 14 hours !!! No worries coz I am in the process of regulating it myself with some trial and error and a lot of patience. But I never expected it to be so inaccurate out of the box. Maybe it needs some running-in period? I will get it to run accurate for sure. Just received my Vostok amphibia scuba dude as well. That one is running 6 seconds/day fast out of the box. Superb! 👍🏼👍🏼
4:21 "I don't wanna hear it with the snobs." LOL You tell 'm, Steve! I just bought my first Invicta, but I went for the 1953 version of the Pro Diver. I love this one too, but the Invicta logo on the side of the case is a bit much for me. I did almost get the LE version of this one with the carbon dial though, but I hesitated a little too long and they were sold out before I pulled the trigger. Ah well. :)
I just bought a all black grand diver with red accents. I like the slightly larger watches because I have big wrists. But a nh35a automatic movement for $120-135? Yeah you can't go wrong. I ordered a casioak with the solar and Bluetooth and the thing was so small I couldn't read it. The lume on these are better than casio
@@stevealicioustime but the one in your video has an extra GMT hand. I've never seen an Invicta Pro Diver model with a GMT hand. Or have I missed out something?
@@stevealicioustimeand I just notice that the Invicta GMT watch in your video seems to be a quartz model as I can see the second hand ticking second by second. Is there such a model from Invicta? I’ve tried searching but can’t find anything close to it. There is one Invicta Pepsi GMT model but the crown and date is at the 9 o’clock position instead of the usual 3 o’clock position.
I was actually looking at some of the new Paganis the other night. I was considering one. It was one of the quartz ones though, the new chronos...I'll have to look. I wanted to try their Explorer II looking watch.
I don't get the Invicta hate mongers. Yeah, for sure they make some truly hideous watches but if people didn't buy them they wouldn't make them. That being said, for the money watches like this are great. I bought a Pro-Diver for my son as his first watch. Aside from the engraving on the case side it is a very nice watch and for $80 they cannot be beat. I bought the Invicta 1953 Submariner homage for myself, again $80 and it is very well done and no case side engraving.
I understand the hate on invicta because of the countless oversized abominations they have on the market. But the pro diver is certainly set aside. It’s nice to look at, functional, boasts great water resistance, respectable movement, smooth as butter. For what it is and what it costs it’s absolutely worth buying and owning more than one.
Invicta Pro Diver is a good value. You must have never heard of Aragon if you think the Pro Diver is the best value. Check out the Aragon Dive Master series and I promise you will agree.
@@stevealicioustimeehhhh that's not as true nowadays. Look at what you can get from the Chinese homage companies like Steeldive, Addie's, Watchdives, Heimdallr etc. Ceramic bezel, sapphire, same movement oftentimes etc. Invicta started my automatic obsession and I still own a Pro Diver, 2- 1953s and a Grand Diver, but you can get more for the same money these days, and they have usable lume!
the Hydrolic Press Chanel tested the pressure in a water pressure chamber and the automatic pro diver 40mm one tested twice the pressure it was rated for before the watch stopped. the when the pressure was released the watch started again. It seems worth the money to me. Though I don't own one, since I mainly wear a galaxy 4 smart watch. But if I had the money to spare and liked to go to lakes and beaches alot, I'd buy one.
I have one of these, a Casio world time, and a Galaxy 4 Classic as well. Very tough decision to choose what to wear most days, but I love that I have one of "all three" kinds of watches: a smart, a mechanical, and a quartz.
@@stevealicioustime absolutely true. I have 5 Tissot automatics an Omega and a few others. I wear my Casio as much as the others. It's a rotation thing.
Nope, I own a Tissot Le Locle dress watch which I stole new for $300 under retail, but the Steinhart Ocean39 at $450 is what I chose for a step-up Swiss diver. However, the Invicta Pro Diver was the gateway and still sees a lot of wrist time. The crown action is better than the Steinhart! Just got the Invicta 1953 in the original style for $100 and it’s pretty much my daily wear now. The 2.5x cyclops (Rolex magnification) on thePro Diver also beats out the 1.5x on the Steinhart. Wish I had been more aware of the Baltic Aquascaphe…although $225 more than the Steinhart, I dig the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms vibe and the Invicta scratches the Submariner itch just fine. Bezel action on both Invictas is smoother than the Steinhart which was approx $460.
Absolutely awesome value for under $100! $71 on Amazon right now! Link in description.
Precious Rolex fan boys always forget the submariner is a Blancpain homage.
Yep! You can go back all day with these watches, not a reason to not like this one for sure!

Agreed! People need to stop “pocket watching”! You work for your money and it’s your prerogative on how you wish to spend your money!

Invicta was actually the first homage of the Rolex Submariner. Rolex sued Invicta, thus the INVICTA engraved on the case.
Great review on a great watch
I have mine now going on 10 years no problems
Wow, can't beat that kind of durability at that price! Thanks for watching!
Like your style, Steve! Keep em coming…
I have a Citizen Corso that looks nice. But my Pro Diver looks a lot more attractive and gets more compliments.
I own three variations of these ( all auto) and they are bulletproof for the value ! 👍
Absolutely! Hard to beat it!

I was able to find a oyster style solid case back for mine and swapped the Crystal with a crystaltimes double domed sapphire. Love it

I know, their sales and models go fast! Thankfully, they always have new stuff coming up. Glad you got one, though! Enjoy! And thanks for watching!
"I don't wanna hear it with the Rolex stuff" lmao that was refreshing
Love my $64 Invicta pro diver 8926ob. Looks good,is accurate, why spend more for a Seico NH35A?
Thank you so much!
Thanks for watching!
Is that really 120 click bezel?
Yep! 120 clicks, uni-directional.

I had it, great watch. Unfortunately I gave it to some guy. Will buy new.
My dream watch is Zelos HH. Will buy it on my birthday.
That is a cool one as well!!
The nato on the timex is nice. Send a link for it? Please
Where can I the GMT model at 2:20 of this video? Can I know it’s model number?
Thanks.

More expensive
nice band
They aren't bad at all, and they weren't very expensive.
Invicta was my first Love. No Wait... Casio Was. Not I am with Addisdive^^
Would be cooler with sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel though.
