- The response to the last video was incredible, thank you all so much! I've decided to go along and show off every new design I've created so far (over 150 I think) over the course of a few more videos! I hope you all enjoy the new Pokémon, and please let me know what you think of them!

Maybe to evolve feebikarp, it needs to defeat 20 Pokemon with Frustration, but the more you use it, the more it likes you, the weaker Frustration gets, making it harder to kill anything, so you feed it items to lower its friendship which gives it such mixed signals it becomes a belligerent sea serpent out of “frustration”
I like this idea. What if you make it a spilt evo with a friendly gyrados being the result if it's friendship is maxed

I love Jawile. The idea of Mawile's hair growing into a large pet to ride on is genius.
Reminds me of Filia from Skullgirls
Also the way it sits sidesaddle really gives that impression of the elegant fairy girl riding atop the dangerous beast.
And, it could draw inspiration from the Nure-onna and Yamato no Orochi, as Mawile is based on the Futa-kuchi-onna

If you wanna make a Gallade equivalent to Voirlence, I think Violance would be a good name. It would use a lance as opposed to Gallades blades, still keeping the knight theme. It’s name has violence in it, but it also has violet, which is a common ghost type color and can make for good accents while also giving a Dark Knight sort of theme.

Instead of Gallade blade arms, I imagine Violance has one non bladed arm, and one really long, jagged, lance like arm made of the same material as the horns of the Ralts line. So the arm’s a lot heavier, and makes it lopsided. I can see it just dragging the arm along until it has to attack, where it jerkily lunges it forward.
that kinda reminds me of pyramid head which would make Violance pretty intimadating.@@tylercoon1791

I like the idea of making the design based on Vlad, maybe mixing the vampire vibes from pop culture with the folk hero vibe that people from the region he lived in have, making it a spooky knight with a noble posture
@@williansnobre Yeah, since gallade comes from gallant and blade, I figured that a variant should retain some nobility even if this variant is themed around extreme violence. Though I feel like the ability you suggested would be a lot more useful if it affected the next pokemon sent out instead of allies in double battles.
I love this stuff. Feels like a kid sharing his OCs online and with schoolmates and, instead of being mocked and bullied for it, although no doubt there are some guys like that out there somewhere in the comments, the vast majority actually support and even collaborate with the art and stuff.
idk why you'd be cynical about these, they're not cringe. that's the distinction between rolling with it or making fun of it. if I made a whole region full of like "uwu" style furries and presented it unironically, I think people would be right to laugh

Jawile is one of the coolest concepts I've seen for a Fakemon and I could honestly see Gamefreak doing something like that if they were to ever give poor Mawile an evo now that megas practically got retconned out of mainline games
i wouldnt say megas have been retconned they just "need" (and by need I mean to generate hype because the game design, gameplay, and pokemon designs are increasingly bad and not carrying on their own) to incorporate new and increasingly dumb/unbalanced gimmicks and megas would distract from that being the most natural and cool. and before you say "megas were horribly unbalanced" that can easily be fixed by introducing more of them, in particular to pokemon that need a BST retcon or dont evolve further

"Break Neck" is just the move a new Pokemon game needs! May I also suggest other moves like "Lacerate", "Lead Shower", and "Vaporize".
I mean tbf there's "Breakneck Blitz" but ye those are nice too
Don't forget "Delete", "Disintergrate", "Suplex", and "Evaporate".
To be fair, Throat Chop and Guillotine are moves that exist.

It sucks when Radicalsoda’s vids don’t do well (in terms of views or likes or whatever) he’s so funny and talented. I know it just sounds like I’m saying the same old “this guy deserves more and whatever” but I mean it. Lovely designs once again. Especially Ralts, Kirlia, Voirlence, Mawile, Jawile, Scudcrab, Colleon, Whirleon, Adoreon, Cameo, Haarpie, Feebikarp, Gyarotic, everything about them just fantastic. Radicalsoda is probably one of the few UA-camrs that make me feel like it's the early days of UA-cam comedy and creativity, all while having high quality videos and not being cringe.

The pearl necklace eeveelution just reminds me of onix and steelix. It's a great design!
Creepy yucky gardevoire is a genius idea!! If you ever get into making cries for your pokemon, maybe get some uncomfortable sounding cracking noises for the regional ralts line
Also, maybe have evil stinky gardevoir be like bent backwards, like in the exorcist

I honestly really like how committed Rad is here to make his own region! Especially with the art of the Pokémon, which I absolutely love, since I draw tons of art and his artstyle inspired me to get into it, which I’m glad for! So, thank you RadicalSoda for changing my life and making it better! Without you, I probably never would’ve gotten into art! ❤️
I do like the new Piwi and Keewee designs more than what you were going for first, however I feel like the big Kiwi could be a 3rd evolution instead. It has this pack leader feel to it that wants to protect the young ones.

I thought at first the Piwi line might be a mythical/legendary when Radical said it 'wouldn't be a starter in his region'
Having a third stage gives me Nebby vibes. You get a little dude and after something really special it turns into a massive won't-fit-in-your-pocket monster (that still adores its trainer).

the old design of keewee could totally be either the final evolution or a split evolution in my eyes, or if you want to have fun with it, it could be a regional variant for somewhere else where keewee had to evolve to be a predator rather than a prey

I'm absolutely loving the little region you're making here. I ADORE the Gardevoir Ghost line. The Magikarp Cross Breed leading to a super agressive melodic was an inspired idea. And your take on the fossils was great. Cant wait to see some more of these designs!
If you're still worried about Pearleon being mistaken for something else, why not give it some more pearl-themed decorations?
With how long their ears are, give them little pearl earrings on the ends!
Give the smaller pearls on the tail end different colors to represent the rarer colors of real pearls.
I feel bad saying it looks like Espeon (it's a good thing to me, i think small similarities would be cool due to the special/physical aspect of eeveelutions!), but you could go even further by giving it a pattern on its forehead. Hear me out: five pearls (if we're sticking to natural colors for contrast, black or darker purple) in symmetrical sizes make a U shape, invoking *a pearl necklace.*
I can imagine Cranda being really good in competitive, possibly double battles, or good against countering Guts strategies

1:53 I think the stoat design is really appealing because the side-eyes are so notable, they give him a fun "dubious creature" vibe when paired with the lack of mouth. It can be both cute, and very cunning at the same time, you don't know WHAT he might be capable of
So I brought this up in the last episode for the Luvdisc evolution, but now with this new Ralts line and Feebikarp it's even more relevant:
A mechanic I wanted to always implement is low friendship evolution. Unlike high friendship, which is above 220 and a level up as the requirement, this requires the friendship of a pokemon to be BELOW 30, and then faint in battle. This can also be skipped by trading, which is emotionally damaging enough to automatically bypass the requirements.
The pokemon with these evolutions would be used by the evil team of the game, and could maybe have another evolution that requires high friendship to symbolize mending the rift between trainer and pokemon.
Something to note, is just how hard it is to achieve low friendship without actively trying for it. Everything raises Friendship, and the lower it is, the faster it goes up. Unless you're using a ton of herbal medicines, you're going to have to let your pokemon get knocked out over and over to actually achieve this.
Scudcrab changing it's form can be done in battle, there was that one sword Pokémon from X/Y that can change to a shield mid battle
Edit with more deets - Say Scudcrab starts in its un-tipped state, only going back to it when using its "Dump In" ability (eating leftover items, if it were 3d maybe an animation where the recoil of grabbing an item with its tongue sends it back)
It can turn into its "Dump Out" state when using attacks.
When using buffs+debuffs it stays in whichever state it's in at the time
Idea for an evolution or something for Necroach, a form where the book is open and Necroach’s real body is levitating above it with dark energy, and it’s true body could be it’s flattened exoskeleton with some robes or something to make it look like a Lich
It could also have it’s own signature move that turns the target into a Substitute if it KO’s them, in reference to the Finger of Death spell from DnD that damages the target and immediately brings them back as a zombie if they died from the damage
I love the regional ralts line. Voirlence especially or totally not weird reasons! Necroach is my favorite fakemon so far.
For Haarpie evo I think that Haarrowwing is kinda fitting
Your style is really good at drawing fakemon. I'd love to see you commit to the region idea and develop maybe a rom one day on these guys
God, I would love to use Jawile and Scudcrab in an actual game someday.
Mawile was already one of my favourite gen 3 mons, and Jawile makes it even better
And Scudcrab has such a fun gimmick, like an Aegislash mixed with Thief/Fling

ya know, maybe a fun idea could tie into the Cranda line. looking at the comparison to the human size scale made me wonder, "where did those big cranberries come from", so i thought there could be a pokemon that produces them, like a variant to your Rambahh line, and there could possibly be a rivalry between the two of them, to see who can make either the biggest or the most potent berries, and then Cranda could sneak by and steal some of the berries for themselves, to eat or to roll with. You usually see the typical rivalry relationship with pokemin, but it's fun to think of a third party that harmlessly benefits from it, just adding a fun twist to an overdone idea can really breath new life into it, don't you think?
I really love the ralts line here, they all look so cool! Look forward to what you make next!
For Adorleon you should use irregular/baroque pearls. They have some really funky shapes and they fit with your color scheme well.
Haarbinger would be a good name for that bird I think. Loving these designs, and I'm not even into Pokemon like that. Looking forward to the next one
21:53 "Vulturegeist" comes to mind, Vulture and Poltergeist. Wouldn't know if those existed in New Zealand but less feathers on the body like a real vulture could express that ghost type bit.
Overall i love this series despite my last game being Pokemon Platinum. Keep it up!
I got a good a good name for Haarpie 2. Considering that the boney mask looks like a knight helemet, I think Haarchivalrey would be a good name
Haarpie's evolution could be named Reapgle

I need to talk about how amazing the Camoa pokemon is. It's sheer size and colours along with the concept itself is absolutely perfection. There need to be more Pokemon with these cool/creepy designs and I'm glad you are doing them!
Edit: idea for the name of Haarpie 2. Name it Reagle. Y'know, a mix of the words reaper and eagle!
Feebikarp and Gyarotic are kind of fascinating, the idea the goal was to make a mellow Gyarados backfiring because nature doesn't give a shit what you want at times. Though the idea of a branch evo for it would be interesting in which raising it a certain way DOES cause it to evolve in to the desired outcome. Like it's a trainer being required for the "Mellodos" to happen like you not only need to battle with it but keep up with like grooming it and such, kind of calling back to Feebas needing it's beauty stat maxed out but this would be easier since it's just maintaining your pokemon like in SC/VI with being able to bathe them or the Poke Pelago letting you brush them and such. Something to make interacting with your pokemon more meaningful like how Sylveon used to be.
Curious to see what you could do with Gallade and the Fallen Knight concept. Thanks for fixing Jynx by the way. Purrformance sounds really fun and makes Natures even more relevant outside competitive too. Maybe this is too easy, but Haarpie maybe evolves into Easkull, like Eagle with a Skull? You're inspiring me to look back into my old notes on a region based on Las Vegas. Looking forward to the rest of your series~
Well here we are again, these new Pokemon look and fit really well with your region! (Also love the new redesigns of the old Pokemon from the previous part, looking forward to seeing the rest in the final part!)
Cranda 2: Crandamp, Crandrench, Crandance (rain dance but juice?)
For kicks: Crandragon, a final evo panda dragon that holds cranberries in its jaws and squirts the juice that way
Cranda's berry gush curing enemy's status effects would be useful for countering abilities that increase enemy stats when affected with status effects, like Tangled Feet, Guts, ect.
I think it would be neat if you did a liger vs tigon with the feebas magikarp crossbreed, Magibass and Milidos.
Finally! Someone gives something to Jynx! I still think Jynx needs an evo.
Also, the Milotic/Gyarados fusion sounds awesome

The Gardevoir variant is a really good idea, i love the idea of one that changes due to the negative emotions, plus ya made it look like a heartless!! I could see the two Gardevoirs fighting over a trainer or fighting each other
I feel like Scudcrab would be a natural predator of Trubbish, and that makes me happy, feel like it should get a big evo like Garbador to combat that too!
Feebikarp and Gyarlotic are so god damn cool, absolutely amazing concept. You went full Pokemon Infinite Fusions with that, and i would be SO down for more of them! In fact, reckon the developers of Infinite Fusions should grab that off you!

Jawile is how you REDO A POKEMON HOLY HELL, it's perfect, down to the last detail. Even giving it an evolution, i love that, but i don't like 2 stage evos personally, but you made me like Jawile. It also reminds me of Filia from Skullgirls; she's basically Jawile.
For the evo of Haarpy... Wingeist? Predaghast? I dunno, very well done design, it reminds me of a Rok from Final Fantasy, flying/ghost is a really cool and unique combo too, love that!

I think a good way to evolve Feebikarp would be, of course, to level it up to a high level and have it use certain moves for certain amounts.
Also, love that he kept the cat makeup on for the entire video.

Ngl feebakarp is freaking gold material tbh, like honestly cross-breeding in the Pokémon world sounds like an amazing idea for a evil organization plot, maybe the feebakarp can be incorporated somewhat into the plot like team rockets slowpoke tail business or probably what makes more sense to reference the Red Gyarados in the Lake of Rage being a magikarp forcefully evolved into said gyarados. Now I haven’t watched the third video yet so all of this might be just dead in the water but honestly love the creative potential behind these mon’ designs, would love to make some dex entries for these beauties

I think to evolve Feebikarp, you should need to complete a hard challange using it, and maybe only, it. Based on Japanese koi/dragon legends, the koi fish to climb the highest waterfall, turns into a dragon. Thats why it gets so strong and gets the dragon type.

I think for haarpie's evo it should be named something like haarpenger, because it sounds cool to me. I also think that feebicarp should evolve in some way related to aggression

It’s fun to see the different designs as you develop them! It often takes more than one iteration to get to a design you’re satisfied with, and it’s good to see that
I think early Keewee would work as a final evolution, but if you plan to keep trade evolutions, it could definitely work as one of those.

Since cranpanda is all about making opposing pokemon thankful maybe a reference to thanksgiving could work with the name Wampanda derived from panda, the Wampanoag peoples and the sound “wham”
Really awesome designs! My favorites are the regional Gardevoir (I'm the target audience for this one lmao), which either Grudgevoir (from Grudge) or Goredevoir (from Gore) could work as names, Keewee, Gyarotic, and Necroach is absolutely sick!
The Cranda evolution could be named Panberry, which are literally the parts you didn't take from Panda and Cramberry, while for the Gardevoir redesign, maybe you could turn its heart into a knife piercing her heart...
Anyway, can't wait to see the next batch!

I was actually pleasantly surprised when you mentioned a Pokémon inspired by the extinct Moa. I haven't seen anyone talk about those since the Lost Kingdoms series of Yowie chocolates toys.
Ralts line and Necroach are mah new favorites of Rada's mon creation, keep it up!

Keep it up, man, I love the designs. I see almost a compromise between the older design style (more about being monsters/weird little creatures) and the new (kinda smooth and focused on aesthetic appeal) in your pictures. Awesome work!

This is a wild idea, but maybe you can make feebikarp evolve by how evolution kind of works in reality, you put pressure on them.
This pokemon would have a pressure meter, which would fill up everytime this
pokemon has a red HP bar (when it is on low health).
Eventually it would be so pressured with all the dangers of the wild, that it would evolve to adapt to the battleground.
Maybe a dumb idea, but i wanted to throw it out there

tbh when i'd imagine a rock type eeveelution, i always pictured it being a walking geode or ore disposit. like, with a rock body but its limbs, ears, eyes and the like being crystals coming out of the rock base

Gyrotice sounds like neurotic, which fits its forced hybrid story of aggression unpredictable behavior. You could also do a dual evolution line, the aggressive and the mild variation depending on your friendship level with the Pokemon or it has to hold the scale Milotic need to evolve to get the mild version. once again splitting one with high attack speed, one slow defensive.
I think you should add some strings to Analeon to make it look more like a necklace
I really enjoy these videos, they’re honestly some of my favourites and it’s sad that they don’t do well, I understand if it isn’t viable or if you lose passion for these types of videos but I hope you continue making these for as long as you want, they’re honestly great!!!!!!
...How about an alt evolution called "KeeWheel". It just spins like a Donphan but can grow spikes on its back when it jumps to attack.

For the Nyanx, I figure the name Booneko would be interesting. Jynx's name comes from the word "jinx", which is a negative kind of spell, whereas a boon would be a positive, combined with the word neko, for obvious reasons.
Other ideas I had were Nekure (neko + cure, but bad idea if you try saying it out loud) and Charmeow (charm + meow)
My idea to evolve to evolve Feebikarp is pretty simple.
Majikarp is a Pokémon you can usually get pretty early, and evolves at only level 20.
Feebikarp can be obtained at around the same time, (Level 3-5 at fishing spots) but it only evolves at an INSIDIOUSLY HIGH LEVEL, like 70 or 80.
You have to COMMIT in order to obtain a Gyarotic, and an EXP Share is only going to help so much.
If nyanx uses purrformence againt a calm-natured pokemon, maybe then it gets confused or has to skip a turn.
Or maybe it gets so embarresed that it will immediately forget the move (that last one was a joke)
This is going to sound like a back handed compliment, but I really don't mean it that way.
Whats so charming about this is how simple the Pokemon are. They're drawn in such a way where they look good, but also look like something any of us could do. I've not make up my own Pokemon since I was a kid, but watching this is making wonna take a crack at it.
