Nice I needed this went out to garage checked mine and its 3.040 so I am zipping now for tomorrow. Thanks for the help. I watch all your Videos and there great and your really good at explaining things. I have a Solix 12mega Si and 10 Mega Si G2 and there both out of date and I am assuming is my Ulterra and my 360. See I'm loaded on the boat for retirement season

Would it be that hard to auto update over wifi?

Is this true with the Helix as well? What is the difference between the two models?

      Hi Jim,
Yes, this would be true for HELIX as well. It's very important to keep your units up-to-date with the latest software. As far as the differences between the two models, we have a FAQ that might just help with your question about the SOLIX compared to the HELIX. bit.ly/2Qm2kCt
      Thanks!

    Some questions :
    1) How large a S D card should be used?
    2) Can you use the same update for more than one unit if they are compatible? Or do you have to reload the SD card each time from Humminbird support? I am looking seriously at the purchase of two units!
    3) Have no experience with a ZIP file. Do you just click on the file to open it?
I am a subscriber for both Dr Jason Halfen and Humminbird TV.

Is there a way to go back on a update then reinstall the new one? After I updated with 3.640 for my Solix's also updated my Ultrex Ipilot-link and remote My Ultrex Bluetooth sensor lost its pair and I can't get it to re-pair with the head controller, and my remote does not show an option to calibrate the sensor so I can't jog. Also on my Solix the contrast no longer does anything, no matter where I set it the screen remains the same.

Page 64 of the i-Pilot Link Owner's Manual will walk you through the re-pairing process.

My Huminbird Solix 15 is continuing to say failed for the update. I currently have 3.4 and it is trying to update to the latest 3.640 without hitting the update 3.5. It was my understanding that you do not need to erase any of the files that are downloaded during the new update. Is that true?

      David,
Thank you for reaching out to Humminbird on this matter.
When you insert a software update for the SOLIX that has both the 3.500 and the 3.640 update on it, the unit will automatically ask to update to the newest version. You would simply just cancel the update, go to the Home screen, Files Widget and select to update to the 3.500 first. From there when the unit reboots, it will prompt you to update to the 3.640 again. You will confirm to update to this version. This should correct the issue.
The SOLIX will not successfully update to 3.540 if it has anything in software less than 3.500 already installed.
      Thanks!

How long is this software update supposed to take. Mine has said "Installing" for about 5 minutes when trying to install v3.500 on my Humminbird Solix 10?

Wow. Finished after about 10 minutes. They should tell you that "fast" means about 10 minutes.

I have an Onix that already has the newest software installed. I am trying to go back to 3.000 so that I can install 3.040 after, then install the newest software again... my Onix isn't working properly. However, it does not recognize the software "update". How can I revert back to 3.000?

    • @HumminbirdTV
      @HumminbirdTV  Рік тому

      Hi Katti,
Thank you for contacting Humminbird on this matter.
We do apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing however there is not a way to take the ONIX back in software to the 3.000 so that you can initiate the update once again. The ONIX systems are also retired so we do not have the means necessary to assist with working on the unit to get it operable any longer.

New update knocked my lakemaster charts out. All I get is a blank blue screen. I use the charts everytime I go out as I am on the Mississippi and need to see those wing dams.
Who and how do I contact a human at Humminbird to get this resolved?
