Thank you for the tutorial on the SOLIX. I just installed mine this week and yesterday was the first time on the water. These videos are awesome for helping the novice like myself to find his way through this unit.

Great video. I have a Helix 12 Gen 2 coming on my new boat but really wanted a Solix. I guess Bass Cat didn't pricing info for the Solix at the line yet. I think I will definitely be adding a Solix to my boat on a TD KVD Kong mount.

Question? I am going to upgrade my 999si. I want the mega chirp and will add 360. I fish 100 acres to the some great lakes action. I do use lakemaster for mapping and nav. Would like to network the 999si. What unit would you go with? Helix 12" vs Solix 12" (or 15")
Both would be good choices. More depends on the features of the unit. The HELIX is operated much like the 999c or if you want Cross-Touch Platform then the SOLIX is your choice.
I just got 2 of my 3 Solix units. They only came with the mega side imaging transducer, do I need other transducers for all the views that you are showing? I have a 360 up front on my new Ultrex I pilot link with transducer also. Also do I need to install the gps puck that came with the 360? If so how/where does that plug in?
The MEGA Imaging Transducer can produce all sonars except 360 Imaging. All you need unless you want to mount alternatively to protect the transducer on transom with higher location than bottom of the hull then you can add Y Cable and separate 2D only Transducer for all speed 2D sonar readings. The GPS that came with 360 is a heading sensor GPS Receiver and requires adapter cable to connect to the unit but I would recommend. Watch my ONIX Video with GPS-HS Receiver it's the same for SOLIX Series.
What kind of mount are you using to stack the two helixs on top of each other?
TH Marine KVD Kong Mount that I customized to hold 2 units
does the solix come with maps or do you have to get cards for it and of so what maps are best for it and is there new maps for the solix series? I got 2 of the 15 coming so any suggestions on maps would be great
There is a base map but you will want mapping. I use Lakemaster for 95% of my need but also use Navionics where I don't have LM coverage
Hi, Do I need to buy something else to have the barometer and water temperature readings ? I can not find a way to read it.
Water Temperature comes from the Transducer. Barometric Pressure is not part of the Humminbird System but might be able to add as a NMEA 2000 Sensor.
Does mapping always run 6 ft high on every lake

Which lens do you have on your Gopro?
I use a Polarization Filter but the standard lens with GoPro
So is this better than the new hds live???
with all of those units running do u have issues with battery drain?
Never had to jump start but when I fish long days I put them in stand by when not running down the lake
do you use the cranking battery for the solix's power?

they amount of money in humminbird units on your boat is crazy. no excuses now

I have several videos on rigging. I use the transducer shield to mount the transducer to the jackplate and Y cable and shoot thru hull 2D only transducer
tell me if there is a Russian menu in the settings?
I've only used the Domestic US version but there is international versions that offer multiple languages. I would recommend asking Humminbird or your local distributor what languages are included.
don't anyone ever complain about the glare..? I have Lowrance and Bird on my boat and the glare from the bird is redonkless.
There is very little glare with the SOLIX.
have not see it in person yet but will have to check that out. The looks from your video sure does have a lot of glare though.
