Siggraph 2018 Rewind - Bhakti Patel: A Three Year Journey in C4D

- Опубліковано 11 жов 2024
- Bhakti Patel is a 3D Animator and Motion Designer. Her work includes the Emmy-nominated main titles for Vinyl, UI design, and animation for Black Panther, the main-on-end titles for Thor Ragnarok, the Opening Ceremony for the UEFA Champions League Finals and over a dozen commercials and titles. She also happens to be addicted to Netflix, bookstores, and nachos.
During her presentation Bhakti breaks down a teaser she created for American Horror Story, an ad for El Silencio Mezcal and one of her "everyday" projects. Bhakti quickly and easily animates a snake using SplineWrap and Displacement, and uses Depth of Field to add a bit of drama. For one of her "everyday" pieces she goes step-by-step through the creation of using primitives, deformations, MoGraph cloner, GI, Booleans and more.

4D Rock star, Amazing work
Doing Superb bhakti, nice to see people from India
She's amazing!
Awesome explaining!
looks great
Guess what... The final render was low poly! I can see the edges clearly 😅. But the final design is awesome 😊
Thanks for sharing......I am learning C4D and I got some good techniques out of this presentation :)
You have very good taste!
C'est incomprehenssible seul les auteur de C4D savent de quoi ils parlent
Good Job She is Amazing Well done
this is awesome
Shouts to ash thorp for the first and last shots in your reel tho
Thx! Very good!
I have decided that snakes are cooler that i thought!
nice work....
thanks
she makes this shit look so damn easy
damn she actually gave a tutorial on how to make that snake
Bhakti rules.
Awesome presentation! Just to have sure if someone can help me, I tried to go with some tests in this snake spline wrap, but my texture doesn't seem to wrap the object, it seems like the snake is going around the texture and not the texture really following the snake instead of.
Si mbak keren, tekhnik sederhana tapi hasilnya luar biasa
Rad!
Dose she have youtube channel? I
I understand when people are switching from 3ds max to C4D, but I don’t understand when they’re switching from Maya which is much more powerful than C4D. C4D is good for the start.
thats what you believe for now.
I don't believe it I know it. My CG path - 3DS Max (as a beginner) - C4D (very longtime period) - Maya+Houdini for now.
Hats off her work is really cool. what I don't understand is why this is a talk at Siggraph. I'm not being mean or anything I'm genuinely wondering, she's only talking about and doing really basic things that are covered extensively in other videos (namely on this channel).
MAXON works hard to showcase a variety of artists and techniques at every event. It's important to show potential users that basic techniques coupled with good design sense can go a long way.
how can i get this snake
OMG she just showed the title of mahabharat,. Yipee it coming soon..lol
Bruuhhh🤣😂

This girl is Indian 🤩
Proud to be an 🇮🇳 Indian
Motion designer from India great work 🔥
It s too strange and miserably to watch that cinema does'nt have a basic tool for shell which is create a wall for thin object in both directions. Even free blender have this ability.
use cloth
Thank you but it is create wall in just one direction
Hola From India...
C4D is so easy compared to blender.
Great. but it's too strange to watch how experienced speaker uses tedious excess operations like calling Subdivision surface then manual drag and drop objects inside. even me who just started to learn cinema 4d now without lessons and manual figured out that if you will hold Alt when press Subdivision surface e.t.c it will automaticly do all work for you and adds all selected objects or null inside =) Hope it helps anyone =) also try to use another key modifiers =)
Indian explain much more better then foreigner
what is the need to bring indian/non-indian into this ?
who the f*ck is talking in the background?
