You have a great set of videos and we can see that you really know you job. I have tuned my S200 CZ with a Altaros regulator myself and it was a great way of learning how my rifle works. I had my Webley LiteW8 regulated with a Lane regulator by the Ratworks, which also made a massive difference to the rifle it was before. For some reason the pellet fussy rifle was not so pellet fussy as it had been before and works well with about eight different pellet to the previous one. I am now in the process of tuning my daughters Hatsan Galatian, which I have found the most difficult so far, as the anti tamper is so hard to fatham. I got another Altaros regulator for it, which turned out too tight to fit the cylinder, until it was resized on a lathe. I had previously chonographed it and it averaged between 10 ft/lbs and 11.5 ft/lbs depending on the pressure level, which turned out to be 11.5 ft/lbs at 100 bar. The regulator was set to 100 bar, but now the rifle is only doing 9 ft/lb. Do I decrease the pressure on the outlet exhaust valve spring? Increase the pressure of the regulator, or increase the diameter on the transfer port? I know that a weaker spring on the exhaust valve is the easy option, as the block on the Hatsan Galatian doesn't look that easy to work on. I expect access to the transfer port will be through the grub screw hole holding the barrel in, but what I have noticed is that all the alen knutts appear to be very soft metal and will round off easy. I am thinking that they have put all the screws in with locktite? Even the adjustment for the hammer at the rear of the rifle has the cap on it, and even after drilling doesn't want to come out. I am assuming mor e locktite? Maybe if I heated the rear screw it would come out and I could adjust with the hammer tension if that is possible. No help from Edgar brothers. They either treat us all as young kids, or potential criminals, when only a few years ago we could all make sure our rifles were tuned and working at their best potential. Any imput would be great, as no one seems to have done an article on tuning the Galatian yet. Many thanks. Mark Holding.
Adam. Ive just got a wildcat 177. Strange, mine is just likes the pellets yours dosent. Perhaps something to do with the smooth twist X. Good to hear its possible to get it consistent as mine is terrible at the moment. Suspect reg problem.
Very interesting videos can you tell me whereabouts your based please if possible I would like you to repair my FX cyclone it has stopped firing losing pressure rapidly thank you
Hi, could someone tell me what is the average "draw length" of air rifles and air pistols? Meaning the distance the piston travels inside the cylinder. Thanks! I'd also like to know when a spring piston gun is loaded, is the spring completely compressed then meaning that every loop of the spring is touching each other and it cant theoretically compress more?
Hi Mr. Why FX rifles don`t like JSB Jumbo Monster`s in my case 25.39 gr. , in .22 at my Bobcat.????? At 35 yds they flying every where ( 2-3 yds off the target) !! Is it the shape of the pellet? I think so...... can you explain ?? Thanks !
Always tuning, just not the impacts anymore, the truth is no matter how much time and money you put onto them there just too problematic and unreliable.
Hi mate Need your help please! How can I remove my cylinder from my fx typhoon and empty all the air?? Something it's lose inside my cylinder so I need open it to check Let me know how can I remove all the air please?
I have fx Streamline in. 177 and the same is się with heavy... I Notice that much better is with crosman 7.9 and baracuda match... Looks then ST doesn't like soft Led at all tested jsb from 4.5to 4.53..
jsbs diabolo heavies 10.34 dont give good accuracy below 840fps and above 910fps, tested with many air riffles, normally i shoot them 870-890 fps, group size @50m 2 (euro)cents coin..
well.... i think you need more speed on Smooth twist barrels ..with my friend impact work fine on that fps. try it maybe will be fine for you also mate, thanks

Hi do you have a gauge built in?? crack it off slightly if you do. Failing that you will have to dry fire until empty.
