Gotta love a woman who knows how to shoot and what she is talking about. Excellent information and great video!
Good
Terimakasih atas pencerahan nya master
Besides spending most of my time these days shooting my PCP air rifles, I'm a professional photographer so I want to tell you first of all the video production itself was perfect and I really appreciate that the audio is perfect everything was perfect and the topic and the explanations were also perfect so thank you. Let me know if you'd like an advance look on the Stoeger XM1 Ranger.
I never knew that pellets had optimal muzzle velocity characteristics but the explanation and demonstration here was really educational. Thank you
In general the 'diabolo' skirted pellet design doesn't do well if shot at supersonic speeds, it's better suited to subsonic. The shape is 'weight forward' with the waist/skirt adding drag at the rear of the pellet which helps stabilize it at subsonic speeds, but at speeds around the sound barrier the diabolo shape tends to lose stability.
She taught me more in this video and the two shot scope adjustment video, then umpteen people just shooting random pellets, and yakking and yakking. Nice, way to go!!
I visit this shop regularly and even though I didn’t get my air rifle from them they’ve always been super courteous and helpful! I have a hatsan neutron star and from the factory on its lowest setting it’s shooing 25gr pellets at over 1,000 fps and I cannot get it to group for crap. Definitely going to go through these guys for my next air rifle.
Try using a heavier pellet. That’s a good velocity not that it means much when it comes to accuracy however a heavier pellet will probably get you a better grouping. Hope that will help🤞
@@Cisco1322 I’ve used up to 30 grain pellets. Slugs of all different weights and diameters. It doesn’t group at all
Nice video Lauren. If you tune it down further to just under 900fps the groups will likely be 1/2" even further out. Most pellets start to spiral after 900fps. Spiraling occurs when the pellet loses forward speed downrange, but still has most of the RPM (spin) it started with because the RPM reduces at a much slower rate than the forward velocity does. This means that the pellet is spinning faster than it needs to, and gyroscopic effect takes over. To combat this you slow the pellet down as this lady did. You can also use a slower twist rate barrel and keep the higher velocity. Slugs are less prone to spiraling but have other challenges.
Jett Ferox well said.. So to fight spiral effect we have to: 1. Reduce the FPS if we use light pellet, 2. Use heavier pellet if we didn't want to change the FPS or 3. Use slower twist rate barrel if we didn't want to change the light pellet and the FPS. Is my opinion correct?
I believe thats what im dealing with have a gamo swarm gen 2 1300 w alloy 990+ lead pellets my gamo master country at 25 yds are like 4 in spread but if i use hunter dome shaped itll be half dollar at 100yds
I know from a previous video that you do competition shooting and your expression when you shot the bad group was priceless. Excellent explanation for us part time/ casual shooters. Thank you!
Very well explained Lauren I can’t tell you how many times I get asked about FPS and Fpe.
I like how you explain everything, very informative video. Great job!
Your getting it done girl! Good job !!! My 10 year old grand daughter watched your video with me and she completely understood it. Big fat high 5 to U! Thanks Pappy tried to explain V2X M Divided by gravities constant or 450240 and she didn’t understand🤷♂️ She got it when you explained it🤷♂️💯😂👍👍 Thank You🙏 Super high five!!!!
The professionalism and the explanation on this topic particularly got me to smash! the subscribe button, for sure hope to see other such great and informative videos in the future.
Nice to know....great educational video and clearly demonstrates what is important when trying to be the most accurate. Who doesn't want that? Hunting or target...accuracy reins king.
What a beautiful air rifle set up. Decked out in red, Kahles scope. You did good.
Outstanding tutorial and excellent shooting! In! Thanks for sharing your knowledge
This was really simple and informative. Not an easy thing to do. Kudos to you. and thankyou for this.
Well done. Great explanations. Thank you so much young lady.
It is shocking how many sporting good stores try and push the extreme high fps guns. It is always fun to but in and correct them when they are talking to a customer.
A rifle that can shoot high fps isn't the issue. It's that like any rifle, the owner needs to experiment and find the ammo that particular rifle shoots consistently small groups. That MAY be a type of ammo that is heavy/lower fps OR it could be lighter and higher fps. Every rifle, even the same model, may prefer different ammo. This video clearly shows the type that rifle preferred. Another type of ammo of the same weight and fpe may group poorly from it. Thus butting in without explaining that, or saying a slower fps rifle is better, is simply being a knownothing.
Excellent video and informative with very clear details. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, Lauren! GREAT video! I learned a LOT...AND fell in LOVE at same time😁😍 Keep up good work!!
That just made me smile, AWESOME JOB
Great information and very expertly explained, thank you very much.
Thanks for the well explained video.
Can't wait to try the 25 grain in my flashpup!,ths for a very informative video 👌
You did Really well! Nicely done my lady.
Good sound advice, well done.
Oh and excellent shooting.
Greatly Explained!
great info you guys put out. thank you.
Excellent video
Great video Lauren lovely rifle :)
Awesome video, thanks for the example of pellet weights. I used to be hung up on velocity from my airguns. When i first saw the pellets spiraling to the target and the groups were horrible , I had to search for answers and spend a lot of money trying different pellets. I would like to see a video about slugs and barrel diameters. Thanks.
That’s a crazy how much difference!! My .25 definitely shoots way better with the 40+ gr rounds. If I use something sub 32 1 shot might be 6 in high and the next is 3 inches left and 4 in low. It’s cool to understand why now
Thanks for your help, from Wales in the UK 🏴
Thank you for posting.
So well explained.
And a round of applause for having beautiful hair. 👏👏👏👏👏❤️
You are awesome Lauren!!!!!
Sure wish you still carried FX. Bought my first one from AOA and my new Impact is on order. Loved your customer service. Thanks.
Thank you for the great information.
Really good and useful tip 👍
Very good detail in pellet weight vs velocity your knowledgeable great presentation 👍
Great video!!!
Thanks Lauren!
Great info. Thanks!
Excellent explaination
Excellent information brilliant video
Great advice !!
Thank you for a very informative video.
Great video and well presented education
Thank you, i had agood time listening to you , getting known those basics that makes big diffrence , but i wish you add the importance of the distince and how it envolved with speed and accurecy, and if you can mention the distence that you where shooting at that would be great. Thank you.
Nice. Made my day
Nice video, thanks.
Nicely done.
Great video
Daystate is an excellent gun!! I shoot the Brocock concept XR .22, it's really accurate as well👍🏼
Great video!
See you in the lanes
very informative!
and quality presentation ;)
FPE in a nutshell:
what is easier to stop? a motorcycle going 100mph or a truck going 80? :D
Well done 😎
thank you very useful for beginners and success always👍👍
The Speed can be higher if the Ballistic Coefficient is better and the projectile is heavier! This is the criterion for 1200fps! ~31-32 grain or more, and better B.C. value, more streamlined design!
Thanks for the lesson
Espectacular 👌 gracias por compartir saludos desde Argentina!!
Good video great job
Looks like the first shot with 25.4 grain keyhole. Maybe just me. I shoot them at 890-900 from impact m3 700mm and get hole in hole fun at 50 yards all day. 100 yards is possible at that speed but lots of moa low. But 1 inch groups at 100 maybe 1.1 1.2 inch on bad day. In my gun at 950 they do really good at 50 but fall apart at 100. I guess that's where the red wolf shines over the impact m3. Great video ma'am.
She knows more then most guys on UA-cam with air gun channels and 3/4 watching them.✌️👍👌🎯💯
Excellent
Perfect my friend
Great video with good info.
Like the red screws on the scope mounts. 👍😀
Tom H.
Team Wolf Pack Daystate
Excellent video.
Thanks beautiful. ❤❤❤
Come on man you want her to stop making videos too ?
Terimakaaih impormasinya,jd intinya bukan mencari speed tapi mencari acurasi, maka dengan itu cari pelet yg cocok untuk laras itu sendiri dan kecocokan speed pada unit itu sendiri, terimakasih banyak master
Thanks
A very informative video two thumbs up for you Hello there I'm from Manila Philippines 👍👍 😊
They call me Kuya Frank.
A lil benita we gonna set dis party on fire
Wow nice shot
Very nice vedio maam.god bless.
Nice information Laura : yes a spring powered rifle more time then not performs better using a lighter pellet 13 / 14 gr being I am in Wales I run my rifle at 12ft/lbs ( that the legal limit) on none fire arm rated rifle and the heavy pellet more suited to PCP rifles ( Wales in the UK) 👍
😍😍😍😍 parabéns é sucesso
good stuff! keep up the good work. :-)
“That grouping was much better”. Lol,it looks like a 50cal pellet hole.Very nice!
i started to learn how to zeroing scope from this channel... and now i understand why i always missed the target, the pellets gone awol...
When she shot the first grouping I almost left the video lol. Amazing to see the difference that pellet grain makes. Obviously she is trained and talented.
GREAT INFORMATION THANK YOU LAUREN..👍🎯 WHAT WILL BE A GOOD PELLET TO USE FOR A AIR VENTURI AVENGER .22 CALIBER BECAUSE I USE 18 GREEN PELLETS AND IT'S GIVING ME OVER 1000 FPS.
Good video! Can you do the same testing but with slugs please!
Nice guys... 👍
Wow I wish I could have that one very nice
Nice
It greate my friend 🇨🇱🎯 FT
It is very beautiful
Interesante video.... saludos
Waaaw amazing
Thanks for the video. I wish I could afford that rifle. For that matter, I wish I could afford the heavier pellets. The biggest .22 pellets that I've used have been the 18 grain pellets from that manufacturer.
thanks from India, 👍
I have a Hatsan Air Tact .22. Just shot 11.75gr lead free pellets. Pellets change point of impact like your example with the 13 gr. Going to try 14gr.
Beautyfull 👏👏
Great review, so what pellets would you recommend for a sub 12 Alpha Wolf pls?
The reaction was priceless 😂
very good explain, 🇮🇩
Good info
I love this gun.my dream gun.
At what distance was your accuracy test in this video?
Well trajectory is also a consideration, speed helps accuracy with guestimated distances in my opinion too..
Informative
Arma linda videos top .... é outro nível um sonho pena que no Brasil é quase impossível adquirir uma destas
Lauren, this is a great easy explanation, good job! What distance are you shooting at? I don't remember hearing you say that.
Thank you. This was at 50 yards!
