Thanks for downloading this video, I bought a new FX DREAMLINE from the Birmingham gun show this time last year, after a few months the small nut in the middle of the magazine fell out, and it fell out again today, thanks for your video I was able to fix it. You made it look so easy. 😁 Thanks again.
Thanks a mill! I had the oposit problem. The nut fell out of the mag, and trying to get it in place, the spring slipped, causing the spring to be to loose. This video helped me quickly to solve the problem👍🏻👍🏻
You just saved me a ton of time, and I really thank you. My new Dream lite was scaring me as it was really hard to feed. I thought I had a faulty magazine or rifle. They (FX ) should pay you for this video, it is just that great.
Brand new Dreamline straight out of the box and the bold wouldn’t even cycle a pellet. Loosened the mag spring based on this video and now it works like a charm. It is sad that I need to look up fixes to a brand new gun but thanks for having us covered!
Same as mine, 3 pellets and wouldn’t go any further, shop said I need to buy another as this one I had was faulty? Lose the bolt any hay presto it’s fine, now I’ll never use this gun shop again, trying to sell me something I dint need
Great video thank you. Bought a new FX King (my first FX airgun) and the magazine fell apart, dropping the ballbearings and springs out. I was in a bit of a mess, in the dark at 10pm at night 😅 Thank goodness I had allen keys and your video 👍
Well presented, and very easy to follow Jake. Quite why the manufacturers are unable to set these things up properly prior to despatch is beyond me. Still, this simple tweak could be the answer to an accuracy issue, and avoid multiple returns!
Thanks Tony, they just sell to many rifles to worry about it, they know not every rifle is going to be perfect and thats just the way it is. unfortunate but there you go. Thanks for watching.
This helped me out amazingly. The nut and o ring popped out at the range and sent everything flying. Luckily I caught it all and with the help of this video managed to put everything back together again. Also its running better than before! 😊👍
Excellent timing Jeff! I was looking at my Crown MK2 magazine this afternoon thinking that the spring tension was too strong. Thank you! I'm off to make this adjustment! Cheers!
This is another great video Jeff, thanks. I’ll be taking a closer look at how the high capacity mag on my M3 is treating the pellets as I have been getting some “varying” results which I was putting down to pellet type. I have been using a couple of Carm mags on the M3 and now I think about it the spring action on those felt lighter than the FX mag as I loaded the pellets in. I’ll also be paying more attention to the feel of the cocking levers on my other rifles as they feed pellets out of the magazines. 👍
Had this problem on my maverick magazines , opted for single shot had no problems however I’m glad you pointed out the close up problems I will know what to do next time👍
Can’t say I’ve seen any pellet damage on my Mav .177, but I’ll have the mag to bits tomorrow and try lowering tension anyway! A great vid as per normal 👌
Nice video and I get now the idea why some guns don`t have the indexing done by the magzine, but are using instead a mechanism coupled with the trigger to do this job. No possibility to double feed and no dented pellets are two things less to worry about.
Yeah the HW100 is like that, much better then using the pellet as the stop, but more complicated and more costly to manufacture unfortunately. Thanks for watching.
@@sub12airgunners That is exactly the gun I had in mind. And as I have shot around 4.000 pelets through a 7.5 Joule version without any issues, I have to admit that this thing has grown on me.
Another Great video this guys and with your other vids I’m sure most accuracy issues with fx impacts could be solved! I get people saying we shouldn’t have to but it’s not hard really 👍
Yeah, its not our job to fix them but to be honest, I like doing it, every rifle I have taken out the box and its been perfect I have sold, its no fun unless you can get in side and poke around, and for me at least its one of the things I like about owning air rifles. Thanks for watching.
Good informative vid , THANKS. Here in the U.S. FX mags are way over priced at $50 bucks!! At that price they should really be providing a zero defect product. Perhaps FX should look into having Benjamin make their mags.
One of my 22 mags on my impact sticks, I've increased and decreased the spring tension to no avail. So when using it I have to give it a tap after every cock to make sure I don't miss load.
Very good video and informative my 177 seems to be ok but i will give it a check.Do you know any way of making the magazine not sounding like a football rattle
I have a maverick and I really don't like the magazine design at all especially the friction fitting. I really wish I had saved my money and bought a daystate delta wolf instead 😪 😕. Ps excellent video as always.
I don’t know if anyone can help but I bought a eagle vision crown magazine .22 and with the magnetic lid on it won’t index the fx magazine has always been flawless I guess I should have just stayed with a fx original live and learn
