- André Eiermann, Victoria Arduino Australia, excitingly unboxes and installs his EAGLE ONE PRIMA at home!
The installation of EAGLE ONE PRIMA is very easy: you just need to plug it into the power supply. Afterwards you will have to fill up the water tank with filtered water. That’s important to have a great tasting espresso as well to keep the machine in a good working condition! Then you have to switch the machine on, at the bottom right of the machine
In this video André is explaining the reasons why he loves EAGLE ONE PRIMA:
- It reminds André to his participation to the World Barista Championship in 2017 because Prima is professional machine that allows him to make the same high precision, delicious espresso as on stage
- He likes beautiful design and esthetics
- André has two kids, so he has to be careful about his actions because he has to be careful of the planet because he also wants his kids to enjoy this world the same way as he does. So he really likes that the EAGLE ONE PRIMA is a sustainable coffee machine.
Some people they cannot wake up and start the day without the daily caffeine kick. Other people they want to reward themselves after a long meeting, after for example, running a long time so they just want to enjoy themselves. Some people they even believe there is no life without coffee. Its totally unthinkable for them.
The EAGLE ONE PRIMA is a very powerful machine that can make very tasty precise espresso. On the other hand it allows us to do good to the planet and to our community which is very important. So the new EAGLE ONE PRIMA comes with new innovative technologies so it will be more energy efficient and it will also reduce our carbon footprint.
With a EAGLE ONE PRIMA, you don’t have to be a highly skilled championship barista. Its so easy to make a high-quality beverage on a daily basis. So André loves to prepare every morning a creamy, tasty, super sweet flat white.

Great video André, thank you.
You are most welcome. I am glad you like the video.
The André like we know him! Nice to finally see this Prima! Keep up the good tutorials :)
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost my password. I love any tips you can give me
@Solomon Immanuel instablaster ;)
@Milan Achilles thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out atm.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Milan Achilles It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
@Solomon Immanuel You are welcome :D
For a second I thought this was Steve Jobs. Man that machine is the Rolls Royce of Espresso 😮❤️
Steve Jobs... ? No way... I will find a hairdresser now.
André Eiermann 😂😂😂 you look great!!
Very nice piece of kit. I've read that early models sent to reviewers had speed bumps with it not saving profiles and rattling knobs etc. I hope they get them worked out. This would cost me 9000 CDN dollars so it is out of my price range at any rate.
What a stylish video love it
Great ! Good machine
The ol' percolator looks more attractive by the days and years.
Were can i buy this machine in the uk
With that tiny little internal tank, this must be primarily targeted at home use. Why is there no talk about plumbing it into water supply?
I'm trying to find a how-to that helps explain the waterline connections
How and where can I buy this machine? And how much does it cost to have the same espresso coffee setup as the one shown in your video? Thanks.
just the grinder in this video is over $2000, the machine will likely be closer to $10k in Australia. It all depends on what country you're in though.
Mythos 1 grinder on special is about $2800 and the Prima coffee machine is around $7300 so 10k for the whole set up in Australia is pretty spot on
Maybe a stupid question but is this beter then la marzocco linea mini??
Seems like it in every conceivable way.
My friend has the mini. It broke twice in six months. La marzocco can’t make domestic equipment, and both of my work places have had commercial issues having the steam wand handle coming loose. The Engle one is the way to go!!
I need one!
What's the grinder you are using with the Eagle One? It's a nice combination. Thanks.
Thats the Mythos One Grinder
Wow John Lennon unboxing an espresso machine!?? Simply exquisite
No way that's John Lennon. It must be Steve Jobs
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude looks like a young a Steve Jobs
Haha... Ok, I will go to the hairdresser...
@@andreeiermann7638 no keep it. for a sec I thought it was steve haha
pressure profiling?
Nope
one day.. i'll get one..
Funny that the official V.A. video doesn't pair it with the Mythos 2 grinder. That grinder is very ugly beside such a beautiful coffee machine.
What’s the price 😍
about 20000$
@@t0lex14 sounds reasonable. ;) ....
@@jules5350 If you are rich, then sure why not.
@@t0lex14 The 3 group one costs 20K. I would expect this to cost 8K to 10K. I see no point in going above that for a single group machine because if that was the case you'd just go straight for the Slayer.
t0lex14 that’s why I 😉. Even if I was rich....
Such a high end machine with a water tank smaller than my Lelit 41TEM?! I suppose you wouldn't use that in a coffee shop environment.
Bro this has a NEO system that allows it to use instant heating and saving energy while not sacrificing performance
Is the $5900 promotional for release or is that the price ongoing?
5900$? 🤯🤯🤯
What is that black box beneath the cups when pulling shots? A scale? A stand?
It is a scale, I used the Hiroia Jimmy this time.
@@andreeiermann7638 Does the machine need the scale? How reliable is the volumetric system?
@@GlenEdwards Hi Glen, I only used the scale to have a full visibility on my brew recipe. I got used to it during my preparation for WBC. In addition I always use scales - both for dose-in and dose-out - when I dial in a new espresso. Yet, it took me a long time to get more accurate with scales than with the volumetric system. I practiced six months for WBC (23,000 espressos) to be on 0.1g precise with each dose-out and a scale. Just having a scale doesn't automatically mean, that your shots are more precise.
Price?
one testicle, both earlobes and your left kidney.
@@arthurvandeman that the way you pay, bravo.
@@arthurvandeman When did testies become so highly valued? Why do I still have two???
@@GlenEdwards spend them on a coffee machine and you will find out! 😜
Nothing published but I would reckon shipping from Italy could be problematic. I would imagine availability in Europe will be much better than Commonwealth's or the colonies.
Why doesn't it have the built in scales like on the 3 group? FFS
I'm not sure the Eagle 1 has that, I thought maybe it's only the Black Eagle?
@@GlenEdwards You might be right. I thought I saw it in James Hoffman's video but he was talking about the Black Eagle indeed.
Then I guess no scales integrated in any Eagle One models in general :(
Beautiful machine, if it performs as good as it looks then I'll take one!
By the way, did you not care about the environment before you had kids?
After reading the reviews, I am of the opinion VA has not done enough with regards quality assurance. Social media is awash with all the faults these new machines have developed. My hard earned money will be spent on a LM G3.
It really does seem like the smart play is to ignore all "version 1.0" machines, at every price-point. Machines that have a V2.0 (or later) not only have a bunch of bugs ironed out, they have added features that users have asked for. Also, if a machine is successful enough to justify a V2.0 then that's already an indication that the basic design is solid.
"eco friendly" thing is so funny argument in all areas of speciality coffee shops.
Looking really great, GS3 move out the way!!
Give me that gs3!!!
gs/3 is the most overpriced machine ever. hipsters pay it.
@@k-auslightroast412 Slayer single group is $20k here in Aus...
Young steve jobs!
FIVE THOUSAND POUND MY GOD
Geez.. a video on how to take something out of the box. UGH! Oh yea.. and be sure to plug it in... DUHHHHHH!
Unboxing an Italian machine in Australia by a Swede?! :D
why not?
Austria*
If you're gonna confuse Swiss and Swedish, maybe go all out with Australia and Austria ;)
Ah, his accent sounded Swedish - didn't know he was Swiss :D The video clearly states that it is "Victoria Arduino Australia" though ...
@@ordoordo Yes it does. Adam Hill is confused I guess... or maybe V.A. don't know the difference...
@@GlenEdwards it was a joke from Adam Hill, i guess
Water tank... Hmm...
A lever machine like the Profitec pro800 or the bosco sorento or a Londinium would put this piece of tin in a ridiculous position in espresso making, at half the price.
your machine is really helping the world ! Why couldn't it have been delivered by horse and cart, then by sack truck to your plush abode. price seems to be 6 k +....so really only the bourgeoise need apply.
Would've like to have seen a bottomless pf tbh...
Viel zu teuer, die Technik bekommt man für die Hälfte
If we ran the world on CO2 free nuclear power we could waste as much electricity as we wanted AND stop climate change. 🤩
like Tschernobyl, Fukushima, ...
@@k-auslightroast412Chernobyl was caused by ignorance and Fukushima an earthquake. Nuclear power does have its drawbacks, specifically what to do with its waste, but its energy output and harm to the environment significantly outperform all other nonrenewable energy sources
The bs about sustainability is just so precious. Give me a Robot any day and watch my carbon foot print shrink to a toddler’s bootie. The marketing of this machine is insufferable.
It uses 30% less power than an equivalent machine (claimed, anyway). That might not save the planet but it could save a small cafe. James Hoffman is very clear that the "sustainability" angle of this is just as much about financial sustainability for the coffee biz as it is about the planet. I mean... 30% is 30%, right? Every little bit helps.
