    Bill Cosby was a very funny, talented & huge household name once upon a time.
    To me, he's still one of the funniest men alive & tells such wonderful stories, which were spoken with much truth, logic & wit.
    It's a truly sad shame, what's occurred within his life's path, but nonetheless, i'm still very fond of him & i miss seeing him on tv.

      “What occurred within his life’s path”? You make it sound like he was victim to circumstances like being paralyzed in a car accident or something. The man systematically preyed on women by intentionally drugging them into a sedated state where in they would not be physically capable of fighting off his sexual assaults. He is a sexual predator on a scale that is unimaginable and the whole damn time he is known as “americas dad” and everyone celebrates his greatness and he lives a life filled with the finest luxuries known to man. Maybe if he’d drugged and sexually assaulted your mother, sister, or daughter you wouldn’t miss him so much. Great take, thanks for sharing your sympathy and affinity for rapists, now we all know to avoid you too.

      He had some misguided deeds. He drove around in a white van without back windows and kidnapped women. Then, after giving them medicine, he was not nice when they fell asleep. Besides that, he’s a great man!

    I love Bill Cosby. And I understand everyone has their opinion and view on him from everything that has happened with him and his name. We all know this. But it is getting annoying as hell that every other comment is something about his “lacing” or “rape” I’m not stating my opinion on anything as this is not the place to do it and it’s nothing that needs to concern me or any of us. So please, just enjoy the comedy spot and appreciate it from the time it was released. If you have an issue with Bill and his comedy spots, then simply don’t watch it or just don’t click on the damn video. Let people who want to watch and enjoy it do that. I see some people watch it as a nostalgic relief. I’m not saying In anyway that I agree or disagree with any of you. There is just no reason to comment that so frequently. No issues, just saying.

    I’ll always love this man, one of my childhood hero’s, because of his many contributions to our culture and the entertainment world. This younger generation turned on Cosby because of his comments about our community, but he spoke the truth as an elder. As for the comics in the industry,
    if you can’t make an audience laugh without profanity...well Bill’s Kung fu is better than yours.

    • @MrBrightside390
      @MrBrightside390 4 роки тому +8

      you must not be aware of his conviction as a rapist

    • @simmiewilliams5970
      @simmiewilliams5970 4 роки тому +8

      Sadly yes, but I’ve seen white males in interviews say, they heard the Cosby rumors for years...and they did nothing. Some of these allegations go as far back as the 1960s. Do you remember the 1960s, tons of racial tension everywhere. Imagine reading “Comic Bill Cosby Rapes White Girl” as a morning headline..in the sixties. Whistling at white women would’ve gotten you killed...he wouldn’t have had a career. White police, fathers, uncles, boyfriends, pen pals, did or said nothing..really? If followed (everything) about the case, you’ll read more than a few inconsistencies. The media has turned Cosby into the poster boy for rape, when men with (real) power are treated differently. Rape is a vile act, but my prayers go to the families of brutality murdered rape victims, not the headline chasers. For centuries old freaky dudes of all races, walked the earth, as well women who make themselves available..nothing new here. I would say read about his accusers, some of them need to be held accountable for being stupid...Why would you return to your rapist? Why would you accept cash gifts, Why didn’t you simply go to the press?
      He wasn’t “America’s Dad” to me because I had “America’s Mom” but Cosby’s legacy will remain intact with me, simply because I understand how real power works...and play.

    • @southlondon86
      @southlondon86 4 роки тому +3

      “Why would you return to your rapist?”
      Perhaps the same reason why women who have been cheated on, sexually abused or beaten up by abusive partners return to them time and time again. It’s illogical, we don’t understand why, but it happens. Why did all those actresses keep quiet about Harvey Weinstein for decades? Why did those young men not come forwards about Kevin Spacey? Same exact thing. Abuse/rape can be normalised particularly when involving a person in power. Take your love for Cosby away and look at things objectively. It’s not about race, it’s about HIM.

    • @MrBrightside390
      @MrBrightside390 4 роки тому +4

      Simmie Williams you’re using what lawyers call the Chewbacca defense. You can bring up racial tensions dating back from the 60’s but at the end of the day I’ll ask you a question. Did he, or did he not, rape those women?

They have NO problem with pockets and wallets full of currency emblazoned with the images of these sexually predatory beasts who set the tone and example of rape culture for all to follow. And the plethora of under-age victims were never afforded the opportunity to "come forward" and carried their pain, terrorism sufferings to the grave. Why is there NO outrage that the portraits of these sexual monsters are proudly displayed in government institutions, museums, schools and public buildings at tax-payer's expense? @@Kaddywompous To be completely honest with you , I am not REALLY A Cosby fan , i was just watching this comedy special because I had never seen or heard of it, BUT all of that aside, I don't have to be a fan to see the bigger picture that he was OBVIOUSLY SET UP , not to mention many , not all of those women had questionable pasts, meaning that many of them were opportunists and gold diggers. Besides , It is really difficult for me to believe their stories when it is over 30 and 40 years old. If they were so -called "victims", why not come with the truth SOONER, perhaps other women could have been saved, if this REALLY happened which I strongly believe that it DIDN'T. BTW, Gloria Allred (a racist, was representing them at the time ) so it would be completely PLAUSIBLE for them to be coached to fabricate their stories. Also, did not noticed that some of them woman CHANGED their stories. Dr. Cosby is GUILTY of cheating on his wife, but that is b/ween him and Camille but rape, NAH.

      @@mltdcj28 “Obviously set up”? WHY? Why would dozens of women unconnected to each other choose to set up, of all people, Bill Cosby? Is he the only rich person in the world who’s cheated on his wife? If it’s that easy to find 60 psychopaths to all make up similar stories just to set somebody up, why doesn’t it happen all the time? If it’s 1, 2, maybe even several women with accusations then his innocence is a distinct possibility, BUT 60 women?? Bruh. You and I both know that does not happen. At a certain point you have to be honest with yourself. As far as why they didn’t come forward sooner, maybe some of them did. I don’t know the details of all their stories (because it’s 60 women), but if most didn’t it’s easy to see why. What does a woman stand to gain from coming out against someone as rich, powerful, and popular as Bill Cosby was back then? He would almost certainly not be convicted, especially without physical evidence, so the only thing she would likely get is the privilege of being called a gold digger and whore for the rest of her days by people like you. If you think coming forward is easy under those circumstances then you’re not using your imagination. Dude. 60 women. There are bad people in the world who do bad things.The fact that a guy is talented and makes you laugh doesn’t make that person immune from being one of those people.

Me, being 13, simply found it funny because Cosby had great comedic mannerisms and physicality. i'm 49 now, and yeah i can relate to some of it, but i take care of my body as best as i can and hope that my 50s aren't too brutal lol.

    Years ago, my mom and dad took my friend Ben and I to see him live at Treasure Island and we laugh so hard. It is so great and wonderful. I didn’t know the chairs that were sitting and needed seatbelts

    I'm with some of the comments, I can't help it. I still just love him and miss seeing these stand-up shows. I loved The Cosby Show and would probably watch it now if you could find it somewhere in syndication. We shouldn't base his entire life on any one bad judgment call or, just a plain "screw-up" be it a big one 🤔 🤔 He was so funny and clean which is more than you can say about most. Let the man live out the rest of his life in peace. He's paid his debt to society.

      sorta has to do with how much good he did for the world and ppl all those years, the rest was in the closet, but like it was your kid, you focus on the good, he felt like a dad to us all. Doesn't mean we agree with what he did, he just literally did so much good, it's just hard to grasp it all.
