Let me ask. Would Mr Baldwin check the gun if it was a scene where he attempted to take his OWN LIFE?

Can you prove checking the gun would have made any difference?

@@carrollsanders9376 yes. As the gun was suppose to have been empty during rehearsal. Easy peasy. Next?

@@SlobArt Actually having Dummies In the gun was fine as long as the Dummies had no powder charge, the problem is Low powder cowboy loads have enough free space that they can mimic rattle dummy rounds. This has been known for years, and Seth Kenney Actually testified on the Witness stand that Joe Swanson made that more likely, by making Rattle rounds less safe.

@@SlobArtActually it was supposed to be loaded with cosmetic dummies for a head-on camera shot. Open face vintage revolver gotta make it look like it's loaded. They say it was rehearsal but they were actually setting up for takes and Halyna was looking for a camera angle.

Not necessarily. Probably depends a lot on who handled it to him and what they were shooting for, so to speak. Facts is you don't want actors checking guns because 1) they aren't qualified to determine the state of the weapon and 2) it's another set of hands to introduce live ammo whether intentional or not. Fewer hands that open the gun the fewer hands you have to worry about screwing things up. And the fewer hands you have to check out should something go wrong.
