Do you have any concrete info on the effect nakalim temples have on border growth? From the system yield screen I could see that it gives flat 5 influence per pop on the temple, but the description of it's effects implies a much bigger impact on border growth than meager 5 influence per pop would provide. And if it does have an intrinsic effect on the system's border growth, does it stack with more temples? Does it need at least one pop to be present in the temple to have that effect? It's a crucial part of Nakalim gameplay and while it's downsides are very clearly outlined it's benefits are left very, very vague.

I just bought Awakening today. I have done nothing aggression against the Academy. On the contrary, I am in first place giving him the Influence the Academy has asked for. Yet, the Academy is bombarding now two of my systems. For what I can tell.. this is a bug.. I have seen others complaining about it from back when the dlc was released. :/
To the person that plussed up this comment : I am a VERY big fan of Endless Space 2, but I have decided the Awakening dlc makes the game worse so have disabled it.
@@austinsmith3011 I think there should either be a mod to make the academy weaker or at the very least not aggressive to start until they are attacked first, or have the academy nerfed as a faction to the point where it is not just a menace which you have to contend with.
@@Motleydoll123 There is such a mod on Steam workshop, but alas as far as I can tell it does not work. I would guess it is outdated is the reason. It is called : Academy Nerf .... I am almost sure.
Looks nice. But im not sure i wanna buy more DLC from these guys, untill they "bother" to fix the bugs in the base game. 2 years and Several DLCs later, there are still some nasty bugs in the game. Specially the diplomacy system.

So the AI declaring war then truce, then war, then truce again in the same turn, UI buttons not responding sometimes, AI being aggravated because you GIFT it something, game showing you results of battle BEFORE the battle, etc, etc.... If anything this expansion added loads more bugs. So far I saw graviton shielded lab being constructable infinitely, some graphical bugs with systems being invisible and improvements not having their effect listed, not being able to merge fleets, one of the academy positions not working at all because AI doesn't see academy dust as real dust - you could try trading 5k academy dust for 1 normal dust and AI would refuse, nakalim anti-science trait breaking due to the academy quest that buffs minor pops, academy request thingy counting an AI as having higher contribution than me despite showing that I have a higher contribution percentage and that's just the stuff I saw during a single match.
I really hate this new academy mechanic. its terrible, especially the spear of isyander feature. whoever gets the the attack fleet the first time lets them go on a sacking spree.
