It is a throaty sound now even though it still has a complete untouched stock muffler. Be sure to share it with the other GS500 guys and girls you know
it is a nice sounding exhaust, the new y is better, I want to do something similar but with another exhaust, the mod with the aluminum plate is great, I'm sorry that you can't ride anymore
When I built it I was amazed at how good the factory exhaust and muffler sounds with just the Y replaced. As for not riding anymore it's not to bad... I just have to build my K24 mini and I will be able to get that up the wriggly roads faster than I could ever take a bike so that will be fun
I dont find it strange because I am a custom fabricator not a mechanic. However I can strip a carby and put it back together so it works. but in this case it was more cost effective to take it to the shop so they could get the jet sizing right and balance the carbys as well.
@@juscozcustoms How can you custom fabricate exhausts without knowing about upjetting? Especially as you're playing with custom intakes, too. Minimum you need to know to tie it all in, is jet sizing.
I want one of these fork braces! 11:04 this is far better than anything I've been able to find on ebay, amazon etc.

You did all the custom work on the bike but you don't know how to re-jet the carbies ? Seems strange to me ?
