The brakes on my 2022 8Y AUDI RS3 just don't match up so i took it over to the guys at VBT and they sorted out the problem for only a few hundred £££'s! Have a look for yourself below!! On those rear shields if you swap them to opposite sides the lip won’t interfere with the disc 👍🏻
The 310mm discs looked big once taken off the car, the new ones look amazing 👏

Don't stick on loads of plastic tat like some other UA-camrs. Keep is subtle and OEM looking with some nice wheels and a decent sounding exhaust. Great plate btw as well.

Interesting video! The stock 310mm are a disgrace for an RS product. My 2013 Mk7 GTI Performance has those 310mm in the rear, but at least the callipers are painted red. No such thing on the RS3, it's really insane.. So, great upgrade!
as an rs3 owner, they are more than enough. they barely get warm. making them bigger is pointless and only adds weight actually worsening perfomance

Great idea on a upgrade if the rear discs need replacing. How does the Audi warranty work. Now you have modified the rear brakes? And insurance policy

If dust shields were any use they would be on the front of the disc too. All they do is retain moisture, promote rust on the rear of the disc, and rot away over time.

Nice video chaps. On my spacers with 15 on the rear and 12.5 on the front. Please don’t lower it (see Evolve video) it ruins the ride unless you get coil overs). Don’t add an exhaust (see R44 video as the Miltek made literally no difference). Like another user said, please no plastic bits like AH 👍

Not been lowered yet mate. On really big bumps it catches but nothing major

In your old video you mentioned the rattling in the interior, and also the b&o sound system being to much and shaking the door cards….. how does this one compare?
No rattles mate thankfully but the door cards still make a slight noise when the music is turned up loud with something bassey. Got something for that though hopefully 👌🏼

I've got ap racing 355mm on the rear of my 8v rs3 , problem is the extra 45mm doesn't get used because the pad can't reach the edge of the disc so then the edges become rusty and sound awful
These has a very similar swept area to the OEM disks so the unused section is tiny. Around 2 or 3mm 👍🏼

On a different subject I've just curbed my rear wheel and damaged my 1 day old tyre 🤬🤬🤬🤬

@@EVILGT unless you have some deal with audi, its well known that theyll use any excuse to get out of warranty repairs, i guess maybe not with brakes, but i imagen an exhaust will
Maybe heard some horror stories buddy but from my experience working for Audi for 4 years and people around who have them it’s not the case. A new C8 RS6 stage 1 tuned has just had an alternator replaced under warranty 👍🏼 just a recent example

No issues with breaking distance tbh 🤔 these ceramics are miles better than my steels once warm 👍🏼
@@EVILGT that's good to hear. I test drove one with steel breaks and didn't feel that strong. Car and driver also posted some not so great results. My order is for the ceramics.

Not really because they are drilled so they were virtually the same. They also increased braking performance but minimally. I’d understand what you were saying if I made the braking worse 🤷🏼♂️ but I hadn’t. In my eyes I’ve improved the look of the car whilst at least maintaining braking performance. That was the whole idea 👍🏼
