I chose the white keys/silver frame since I have a lighter wood for my desk. The black keys/graphite frame looks great too! You'll be happy with either of them!
Love the white keys with silver frame, reminds me of my Apple white keyboard and pairs with my white Apple mouse too. I like the key travel on this as compatrd to latest Apple Nov'24 USB-C keyboards, because those new Apple keyboards have super flat keys with zero tactile feedback and they have lower keyboard angle too. I like older generation of Apple keyboards as they had better key travel and feedback . I have 2 variants of the mx keys s - one full layout in white like this and one mx keys mini for Mac in white which is portable and use it for my macbook pro and iPad. I have a matte white Apple track pad and it goes with that too. When I type in low light conditions I use mx keys S due to backlighting support, which is absent in Apple keyboards. Also have a nuphy 76 air which is a good portable mechanical keyboard in my view. I use the keyboard 6-8 hrs s day and love atleast some key travel and feedback even from the membrane low sound keyboards.
I don't usually keep backlighting on, only because I'd rather save a bit of battery and keep it off. But, if you do turn it on, it does let you choose the amount of time that the backlighting stays on...from 5 sec. to 30 minutes. I tested it and it does in fact stay on. Cheers!
did you satisfy with pale grey color?
or graphite black more better color?

Does the backlight stay on for 5 minutes if you set it to that time or does it shutdown after 5 seconds?
