Thanks Ryobi for sending me this mower to unbox and film. My Father in law is loving it for his small yard.
#ryobi
LMAO when I heard the voice and saw your face, immediately thought im sure this is the same guy that I watch about car reviews and the visor slide test LMAO 🤣
I own this mower. My back lawn is tiny and can be mowed in 10 minutes. This mower is perfect for me.
Thank you, I just assembled and charged another battery ready for a morning test run. I did not feel like reading what that black plastic was for.. so thank you!
So this is like a Miata of lawn mower. Awesome
Bro that yard works battery was the size of my trucks battery 😂
Your gonna have to take that to Autozone to get recycled 😂
Lmao exactly
The fact you can get this under $200 with the charger and it uses the same ( actually a better battery ) than my drill and Ryobi weed wacker and they include that in the price. And the weight and maneuverability, this is a steal. Im gonna get one.
I can’t believe my car journalist is now helping me pick a lawn mower
I’m here for you!
I was helping a friend cut his lawn. I used my ego 56v 21” mower for the job. I literally hurt my back lifting that mower into my car. It took nearly a month to get better and it the injury was very painful.
Nice little review Yuri, although I'll admit it's weird not being a car review. Launch control, HP and TQ?
It’s nice not thinking about cars. Just grass 🥰
@@YuriTereshynheck yeah man. Got that mow in.
I getting mines today I’m excited to use it

I’m glad you can answer my questions. I got the same lawn mower for my small yard. But the battery died before finishing. Can I change the 18V battery for a 40 V?
no, for 40v you need a different unit, however look for a larger amp hour battery. Generally they come with 4ah. this refers to the "amount" of energy so a 6ah would be 1.5 times longer 8ah would be 2x the run time when compared to 4ah. or get another 4 ah and swap (probably the cheapest option to double your run time. hope this helps)
Thank you for answering. It really helps.
I am concerned about the durability, such as small rocks in the yard. What about small holes from the dogs?
Why are there still small rocks in your yard? Dog holes don’t steer tires into them.
@@hissonshinegirlI have primarily clay soil which has some small rocks. I did add several tons of 3 to 5 way soil on top but it eventually wears away.
@@dianne8340 Diane I am Florida sand so our soils need to join together and make nice 😂
I do sections of grass clippings and shred newspaper and cardboard cover and keep it moist over time it amends my soil attracts worms and they churn things up for me till it’s rich soil. Is there away you can hard rake not leave rake it up a bit and add what I added to enrich. If you have grass growing let it get a bit high in areas then use the mower on mulch no bag but be careful running it bag less it will get clogged if too much piles in the lawn mower shoot. What do you mean the soil you add wears away…..washes? Or gets mixed in the clay. Your grass grows so I would think something can be done to amend.
Best wishes!🙏💝
@@dianne8340 oh hey Dianne, I forgot. As I was mowing I was thinking of your question about holes…the mower is so light weight and just glided over all my uneven areas & holes in the yard and all the critters that burrow looking for grubs. And as far small rocks the beauty of this lawn mowers power it does not suck things up into the blade like my gas push mower would do. Raise the deck up if you think you need clearance. Best Wishes
Oh my god I was thinking this sounds like Yuri the whole time I'm watching... Sure enough. Lol
Heh let’s gooooooo
Nu te Yura, krasavchik!
Lmao! Cant believe I ended up here. Wondering if the sunshade slides though
So I’m assuming this does not do as well in a little bit taller grass? Just wondering..
You can adjust the lengths. But if it is a little taller, I kind of pop a wheelie and go back over it.
Mine struggles on the first row of the season. It's definitely only for very small yards that's maintained on a regular basis.
Is this machine good to use?
It’s decent
Is there a self-propelled version?
Naw don’t need it for this size
I can attest to this. Just bought one, and I'd say its max 15 pounds since its nearly all plastic
Thanks
Great review......... PIVOT!!
My string trimmer has a larger cutting diameter...
And a better chance at scalping
Description says 8V btw
Would be a lot cooler if it was a v8 😎
Cool
coulda used this review a few months ago lol
After 1 yrs it wouldn't charge so money pit mower....😂❤
I have this mower. It is so bad. Keeps stalling all the time :(
I mean… work within its means. How often do you mow
These Ryobi mowers are cheaply made trash. I hate them so much.
