I kinda like the shirt before the dye, but of course the added colors make it outstanding. 😊
I agree! I almost didn’t dye it…. But I had to😂. I’m glad you like it Patti!😊💜
I would want both shirts the first one is cute then the second too lol 😆
Que usaste para teñir? En anilina directa?
This short was fun to watch!
Thanks Riah for making shorts and oh so pretty!!!💗
Thank you Barbara! ☺️❤️
Love yhe good old basic oldies but newbies
Thank u for actually doing color I’ve been bleaching my shirts since high school so this is not new to me but adding color wow very very pretty
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it! ☺️❤️
Wow this is beautiful!!
I love thus definitely doing normal bleach and the colorfull bleach as 2 different shirts
Thank you! ☺️❤️
Thank you for making this video
End result is beautiful, I wish ice tie dye didn’t require using so much more of the dye powder😩
Thank you so much! Yeah I know lol. ☺️❤️🌈
To avoid all that extra powder- We can't make a paste instead?
Good job
Thanks! 😊❤️
I love this so much!!!
Thanks! I’m making another one of these very soon with different colors 😊✌️
Sooooo good. I have been having fun bleaching shirts lately.... timely video. cheers!
Oh awesome! Thank you so much! ☺️❤️
Totally awesome shirt, love the colors.
Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈
Me and my dad tried it and it's SUPER CUTE
Awesome! Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈
@@RiahsTieDye No problem😊
Super cool!
Thank you! 😊
Oh wow this is amazing 😍😍 might try this on a hoodie I just ordered 😝
That would be awesome! Thank you! ❤️😊
I think I may try this with one of my old black shirts. Thank you Riah. Your work is awesome.✌❤
Super cool! Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈
The bleach will eat your shirt up after a few washes. Not worth it IMO.
Ive had it happen to a shirt i bought for $55. I would never buy one. But i would try an old black shirt i dont wear much. 50/50 is safe and the rinse out an peroxide water neutralizer helps
The best part about our white brite is that there’s no neutralizing necessary…at all. ☺️
To make something like this, do I have to do the whole soda ash thing or would regular dye work?
It really depends on what dye you use…tulip has soda ash mixed in the dye so you don’t need it ☺️❤️
That looks amazing
Thank you! ❤️🌈
Wow! You are a real genius ❤
Thank you so much!😊🌈
Lovely design. Please can you kindly let's have a link to the full tutorial video

I wanted to get into tye dieing shirts. Can anyone tell me what the powder used in the video was? Also what the salt looking stuff thats used before the ice is put on top
Yes I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company and the white stuff is soda ash which is needed for the dyes to bond with the fabric ☺️❤️
Love the outcome of this shirt! What are applying after the soda ash?
After it’s soaked in soda ash, I use fiber reactive dyes ☺️🌈
I need a regular video of the first part
Sure thing! ua-cam.com/video/Rk6TYF__240/v-deo.html
What to use as bleach for a black tshirt tie dye ? Name of the product please
I just use the store brand bleach ☺️
You can't give me this, it's really beautiful
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it🌈😊
Wow so cute
Thank you my friend! I’m glad you like it🌈💜
Do you have to flip this to dye the back side too?
Nope 😊❤️
Thats awesome
Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈
What was the white powder you added before the ice?
Soda ash 😊
Can I use the liquid colored dye instead of powder?
Yes you can ☺️❤️
What dye color did you used in the first one?
I used bleach first and then fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company 😊

Thank you! ☺️❤️🌈
Good
Thank you! ❤️
Greetings, what is the name of the powder you use to dye?👋
Hi! I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company 😊
How long you let the dye sit on the shirt? And how do you wash it with the dye coming out in the washer machine?
I always let the dye sit for at least 24 hours before thoroughly rinsing with cold water while gradually increasing to hot while squeezing to remove the excess dye. Dye will still wash out in the washer but that is unavoidable and I’ve never had any issues with dye staining my washer. I hope this helps😊💜
Do you do anything to set the design after? Do you dry it in the dryer or wash it after? Also, where do find the powders?
Gotta wash it after for sure but I don’t dry it. I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company 😊
@@RiahsTieDye Thank you for the info!
How do I get my shirts to not be so orange?
I reversed tie-dye a shirt for the first time
But it looks orange
And yours looks creamy
You might not have let it sit long enough but you shouldn’t let it sit any longer than 30 minutes because it will start to eat your shirt. Also, you gotta make sure to neutralize the bleach in the shirt before you wash it.
Hi how do you neutralize the bleach
Soak it in Hydrogen peroxide
What types of dye did you use? Mine never stay this vibrant or anything
I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company ☺️❤️
so I'm struggling with trying to make my black clothes turn black and green.. I started with bleaching and tried rit dye with boiling water and threw it in the washer nothing happened my clothes still look orange and black. I'm doing a large batch so what's the best stuff I need to go about this step by step to make my clothes look the way I want? I look forward to your feedback and I had no idea what I was doing..
The first thing is make sure you are neutralizing the bleach in the shirt with hydrogen peroxide. If there is any bleach left in the shirt it can destroy it. Also I’m not familiar with rit dye but I’ve never heard good things. I do know if you bought the kind for synthetics it will not work on cotton.
@@RiahsTieDye how long do I need the shirts to sit in the peroxide? and I tried soda ash too.
@ShadowSun-ui5ks 20 minutes for peroxide and 20 minutes for soda ash but if you are using the right type of rit dye you may want to use the rit fixative.
@@RiahsTieDye so 20 minutes then cold wash in the washing maching then after ash hot wash?
Me encanta!!!
Thank you so much! ☺️🌈❤️
Does it work if you dont add soda ash maam?
No soda ash is a must!
After the bleach do u wash it out
Yes. I actually linked the full tutorial in the description box of this video with all the instructions 😊🌈
Love this. But where can I find color powder and soda ash?
Thank you! I buy soda ash from Amazon which there’s a link in my description box and the dyes are fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company
Amazing
Thank you so much! ☺️❤️ I love this one!
Excellent
Thank you so much! ☺️🌈
Mind blowing
Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈
What colors did you use ?? Were they from Dharma?
Yes and I just picked colors of the rainbow 😊❤️
Здорово 👍
Thank you!
Hi do we need to soak the t shirt in water before bleaching it
I would prewash it first and then you can tie it up damp ☺️
@@RiahsTieDye ok thank you
Lovely 😍❤️
Thank you! ☺️❤️🌈
Amazing👍
Thank you! ☺️❤️🌈
Question… Is the t shirt 100% cotton?
Yes it is!😊🌈
Do you have this tutorial in regular video instead of a Short one?
I sure do here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/Rk6TYF__240/v-deo.html
Muy bueno!!!
Thank you! ☺️❤️
Is there a reason you ice dyed it rather than just using liquid dye? I love it !
Ice dyeing gives more of a marbled look effect to it. You can definitely do this with liquid as well😊🌈
Do you wash in cold water after you tye dye
What is the color powder?
It is fiber reactive dye from Dharma Trading Company
Plz do you write this processing in details
Nice shirt
Thank you! ☺️💜
what's the name of the powder that you used?
I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company ☺️❤️
Please can I use acrylic paint instead of fiber reactive dyes ?
Honestly I’m not really sure if they would work. I’ve never tie dyed anything with acrylic paint.
What do you use then apart from fiber reactive dyes ?
Hola que es el polvo blanco que le agregas?
That was soda ash 😊
What was the last thing added
Fiber reactive dyes ❤️
Wow😱😱😱😱😱😱😱👌👌👌👌
Thank you!😊🌈
What kind of colored dye
These are fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company 😊❤️
What bleech you are using?
I just use regular store bought bleach. Any brand should work😊💜
What are those powder like colors did you use close at the end?
Those are fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company ☺️❤️
Awesome 😎👌
Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈
@@RiahsTieDye you're very welcome. 🌹
What bleach do you use?
I just use the great value bleach 😊
And then watch it MELT the first time it hits the washer. Had a pair of bleached jeans that did exactly that.
Well, anything you bleach you have to rinse the bleach really well and then deactivate the bleach by soaking it in hydrogen peroxide and water. The bleach will stop working and your jeans or shirt won’t melt ☺️❤️
How long do you let it soak in the peroxide and water? Is it also 50/50? Then throw it in the washer? Regular wash??
Is that a cotton shirt???
It sure is 😊
what kind of color powder do you use to dye the shirts.
I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company ☺️❤️
Hi 👋🏻 did you wash out colox before add color??
Thank you 😊
Yes! Before you wash the bleach out you need to neutralize it with a mix of hydrogen peroxide and water…the details are all in the video ☺️
@@RiahsTieDye Thank you i am learning a lot from your video!!! love every t shirt you make!!! beautiful 🤩
Have a wonderful day
Thank you 😊
@@RiahsTieDye can you please tell me how much water and how much hydrogen peroxide
Thank you 😊 have a great day
Lovely bohaat acha
Thank you! ☺️❤️
I'm losing coler on wash any info
There are a lot of factors…make sure you are using the correct dye for certain fabrics…for example fiber reactive dyes only work on natural fibers like cotton and acid dyes or synthetic rit only works on polyester.
Hi there!! I made this after watching your tutorial, but I did a loose scrunch and let it the bleach process. then I re-scrunched it and let it process again, but only halfway.
After the dying and rinsing it looked like a tie-dyed camouflage shirt.
That’s awesome! ❤️
Will water and bleach solution work for satin too?
You can but only of the satin you’re using is made from 100% natural fibers. So something like polyester wouldn’t work. I hope this helps😊💜
Soda ash?
Soda ash is a dye fixative…it makes the dye bond with the shirt 😊
Awesome
Thank you so much! ☺️❤️
@@RiahsTieDye you are so welcome 😊💓
Es bicarbonato lo blanco?
No it’s actually soda ash 😊

Which color powder did you use?
I just used the colors of the rainbow ☺️❤️🌈
What's the white powder you out on top
I sprinkled soda ash on top to help with the bonding of the dye to the shirt 😊
Precio?
This one has sold but I do have other shirts available on my website at www.riahstiedye.com or if you use the contact page on that website you can email me for a custom order ☺️❤️
What’d you dye it with?
I started out with bleach and then used fiber reactive dye ☺️❤️
@@RiahsTieDye thanks!
@@RiahsTieDye do you get better results with the dye when it has some bleach in it or when the bleach solution excess is all out?
Wooow
Thank you! ☺️❤️🌈
those powders are difficult to get in Mexico?
I’m not sure if Dharma Trading Company ships internationally but that’s where I get the dye powders I use from 😊🌈
How can we do this at home
I actually have the link to the full tutorial video in the description box of the this video. Hope this helps😊
