Hey Alabama Digger! I just can't get near these results in my 1700s cellars. I understand the iron forged nails have been in the ground a lot longer up here and have bigger halos around each one. But Full tones are still a no-go in these cellars and soil of Western Massachusetts/ New York area. Really loud running, falses in the low 80's, 99 VDI seems to come up alot which is really odd, at least for me. Any suggestions on set-up? Thanks man. P.S. .... all other programs work better with V1.1, but 0.71 still runs really smooth without many falses, and it may not give a VDI in heavy iron, but you know a good tone when you hear one. Thanks again!!
This site is 1800 to 1900. Has colonial nails. I hunt in vt n newyork twice a year at cellars. V1.1 gives a hightone on iron but correct vdi and noticeable nuiances. The stock sensative ft works good in the iron as is. Honestly for me its about tone and i just glance at vdi if im unsure. But try deus mono fulltones pwm. I only use pwm on all. Mono runs smoother in iron.
Thanks, I'll give mono a whirl later this week. I detect right on the cellar lip and just down the slope a few feet. No VDI there, that's a fact. It has to be tone hunted, but I can grab a VDI off the hole a bit when the nails thin out, but I don't need it a VDI. Thanks again for the tip, Ill give it a try !!!!!

I have a small digger for close up work that has a magnet in the other end for sites like this. Instead of searching for every scrap of iron I just run the magnet until it quits picking stuff out of the hole. Saves a lot of time.
Thanks. During the tests i used bone stock sensative fulltones and swapped to compare to stock general . No adjustments. When i hunted after the tests i used sensative ft but upped the recovery a tad and thats it.
I tested 1.1 today on the same 1900's Ice House permission I did last weekend with version 1.0 and I found a 1943 nickel and a ROYAL padlock, 1.10 is even better than .71. Sensitive FT is again, my favorite program.
I would be broke out from head to toe with poison ivy and poison oak in those woods. I touched a leaf the other day. Got it all over my face. But the new update seems to be working better.
Greg has the sour taste of victim in his lip, do not fret! Im patrolling detectorama battling the shitty folk daily! Respect and common courtesy must be earned and the notion we give it for free is the reason murica is going as it is! Hi man, nice video, what setting did u use exactly in iron area?
Thanks. During the tests i used bone stock sensative fulltones and swapped to compare to stock general . No adjustments. When i hunted after the tests i used sensative ft but upped the recovery a tad and thats it.

It is really surprising how good it is. I don't get fooled that much but this fooled me in a good way alot today n just a couple hrs.
My first day with Sensitive FT was shocking to find coins in places I had gone over 20-30 times. They were mixed in with nails.
It is definitely doing some crazy good stuff now.
That one hole I think they tripped and dropped their bucket of nails, but still you found brass in it!
:)
Did they resolve the issue with vdi numbers of non ferrous targets getting pulled down to 0-8 next to big iron? In your opinion
Yes.
My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with the 1.10 update. Sensitive ft is the bomb😅
It is great now. Awesome
New subscriber here. Enjoyed the video. Watch out for those copperrattlemoccosins!😊😊
Lol thanks. Yeah snake season is in full force here.
Great hunt!
Nice video. You do push that coil through the foliage.
It must be done haha , thanks man.

Yeah man. The woods are very tough here in summer. That's where all the good stuff hides unfortunately. Thanks for watching .
Same here in southern Virginia
By the way, we are looking for more videos from you in the near future. From one old southern man to another..😊
Thank you guys.
Good hunt in hard terrain you need to come to the uk and search our fields 👍

@@markkus1134 i call it my weed whacker.haha good coil for sure.
@@AlabamaDigger nice good luck
very bad firmware, black metal throws in color. I switched back to 0.71
It should respond exactly like .71 minus sensative ft
Damn your detecting like you're trespassing or something....lol im kidding nice vid ..
Lol. Them woods are frustrating. Thanks man.
