Still playing with my D1, I do like to learn about D2 I think you'd remember. I did it the same 7 years ago with this up named D1 Working in vineyards I choose the ground at the right time, and Back home, sometimes, watching your shares is like a glass of wine with the dog sleeping in front of the quiet fire, sittin in a "motherly" sweet chair after hard work . Hi Gary, updated yesterday and had a session this morning, used p1 on 3 tone as there is a lot of foil coming in at 50s, didn't alter any other settings and had a reasonable morning on a very heavily detected pasture

Just about to update my unit to V1 and give it a shot, it has been interesting reading everyone's thoughts in various forums. Personally, I'm quite excited about the introduction of the high square tones and potential auditory information they may provide. Happy hunting :)

FWIW - we in AZ, USA sadly, can’t use headphones. We have enough problems with rattlesnakes and mountain lions trying to kill us, so that we need every bit of self-preservation ability (hearing). I would love to be over in soggy ole England rooting for Roman coins. All the best to you👍👍☺️☺️🇺🇸
Hi Gary you are probably the best person to ask, today I was using the v 1.0 update in the mono program with full tones when I tried the pinpoint button on about the third time using the pinpoint button my machine went blank and shut down and restarted again. I tried this several times and it kept happening. So when I got home I tried again just changing mono to full tones and yes the pinpoint button shut my deus 2 down again. I have never had any problem with any xp machines in the past and suspect it's a glitch in the update, maybe if you get chance you could have a look at one of your machines it only happens in the mono program with full tones. I did send xp a email about it.

Pesky ole me again - what model/package of Deus II would you recommend for one coming from an unfruitful Minelabs goldmonster 1000? Have found plenty of nails, wire, bullet fragments etc but never gold 😓 thank you in advance.

How do you perceive things? Is a glass half empty or half full ? Is buying a Deus metal detector. buying from a company that gives you free software updates? Or a company that uses you to do their field testing for free? Facts Updates within weeks of release for sale. Updates are field tested by you. Deus 1 users forgotten; these machines are not cheap, there should still be as many (Garry vids) being made for the 1 as there is for the 2.

Is that a clamp ur using for a kickstand up near the arm cuff on ur deus ?
Yes just a plastic clamp filed to the shape of the upper stem
