  • 0-60mph Test comparing the Phearable Stage 4 ECU tune to the Phearable Stage 3 ECU tune! How much quicker 0-60mph does Phearable's ethanol (E85) tune make our 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 project car? Using a 30-35% ethanol mixture (E85), along with our current mods that include other power / performance mods such as the KTUNER, PRL HVI (air intake), Mishimoto Intercooler, and PRL HV Downpipe (PRL Catted Downpipe), and Eibach springs. The Phearable Stage 4 adds a nice increase in horsepower and torque, coupled with cool temperatures, and sticky summer only high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in a wider 265 footprint, we find out how much our 0-60 acceleration runs improved compared to the Phearable Stage 3 and KTuner Stage 2 tunes. Is the Phearable Stage 4 made for the 10th Gen Honda Accord (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) using ethanol (E85) worth it? Looking for ways to gain horsepower on the (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) Honda Accord 2.0 or 1.5 turbocharged cars - this video / channel will give you the information you need to help you make an informed decision regarding the best mods for your 10th gen Honda Accord 2.0 or Accord 1.5 project car! Thanks again for beating the crap out of that poor thing for our benefit! Now that they stopped production of the 2.0t in the Accord.. these videos I think will blow up in the future with views as these cars become slightly affordable. Also as far as a custom tune.. yes! BUT me personally would love to see how different Turbo's perform with the current mods. 2 things tho.. testing apples to apples with different turbo's will be a hell of a pain! And also... I'm guessing you will need a custom tune regardless, even with the type R turbo 🤷‍♂️. Thanks again! Can't wait to see more! You almost have me sold on that intercooler.. currently 1600 miles and only mod is phearable s3.

@The Lemon Factor! LLC right! And I've not done my research other than knowing the type R turbo from a Honda dealership runs around $1600.. not sure what else is needed to bolt it up.. depending on that it may not be worth it for the small size upgrade you get.. but I have no idea cost or installation process for the other "larger" options either. 🤔 expensive decision at the very least

Custom tune isnt always better especially if its from someone who isnt familiar with the platform.
Case in point; my FK8 was custom tune by a very reputable performance shop with years of experiences on Honda mostly B and old K series engine and made 370 bhp on 93 octane, however after further review it was determined that Knock Sensitivity was turned way down which is not a good thing because I was getting up to 4 degress of knock all over the place. Furthermore, I found out that the ignition timing was more aggressive than it needed to be as well as the MAF scale was customized.
Pherable tune I ran was an OTS with some datalog reviewed made more power and torque with ZERO knock.
TLDR: an OTS tune from a repurtable tune with extensive knowledge on the platform is always better than a custom dyno tune from a tuner whom isnt familar; more power isnt always better if it means the engine eats itself every time you go WOT.

Ballade did the same thing as I'm doing but WITH the CTR final drive. ua-cam.com/video/XeS4yhT5qHk/v-deo.html If you use the CTR final drive, you need an oil pump gear too. It's about $1,000 more to do it that way, but you get CTR gearing for gear 1-4 going that route. I can barely keep traction as is, didn't need lower gearing for the first 4 gears...

Got my car back with the CTR LSD. I turned off the traction control with my Flash Pro, but it still is a noticable difference in traction. The car does do a little torque steering, even with a sway bar, but the traction is night and day than before. At stage 2 Hondata, it would lose traction at wide open throttle anywhere above 3k rpms. Now it just pulls. Even if I hit some gravel patches, it still goes forward instead of just loosing all momentum.
I'm not sure if the differential is the same in an auto as a 6MT, but it was a very simple, direct bolt on with the 6MT.

I’ve had no reason to replace mine. When going to a bigger turbo and higher boost I’ll probably make the gap a little smaller.

How often do you drive this car around, and how many miles are on this car? I'm trying to find my middle ground between mods and daily driving ability. Don't want to blow it up pushing it hard.

@@TheLemonFactor MHI stage 2 turbo upgrade seems to get 400whp on e25/30. Ive seen a few builds from derek robinson at IMW run those numbers
Dont recommend the type r turbo. You can get 400whp but thats the ceiling
ive seen the p700 and pure turbos being used but i havent looked into them.
One guy in florida is running a pure turbo with some additional mods and states he has 500whp

Pure is an interesting option. I think the question is, do I want top end power, or more power, but trying to minimize the loss of torque lower in the RPMs. 🤷‍♂️

Seems like a lot of work/money for less than a second result from stock. I am just a regular 2T Accord owner and am satisfied with my stock setup. I like my warranty and don't want to chance it being voided. I get the feeling that mods just lead to more mods. Kind of like "speed disease". Nicely done presentation.
