    I love how concise you are in the way you explain what you are doing. I’ve watched a few tutorials but I can honestly say that yours are more intuitive. Every thing I have seen you make makes me want to go through to my craft table and try to recreate what I’ve just watched you do. This pendant I definitely would love to make.Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with me.😊

    So happy that you are making these videos. :-) I've had your 2009 book for quite awhile and it is great to revisit this. It is empowering. I'm especially happy to learn more about how your are connecting pieces (such as the disks) and how you are doing those reinforcements. Question: what was that marking tool you used to mark the millimeters. Does it have a name? Thanks for all you do.

    • @DonnaKatoArt

      Okay so, this pendant is strung on a wire choker. This one is magnetic but I can't seem to find them, anymore. You can get them with a screw on closure and they're fine but not as easy to use. I also use a 5 strand wire choker from Fire Mountain Gems - that one is a bayonet clasp. It's nice but not as rigid. When I use cord, I use 2mm rubber cord - solid and hollow depending on what I'm doing. For chokers you have to add a clasp or closure. I think that's pretty much it. I will try to be specific in necklace classes as to what I'm using! Hugs, D

    • @DonnaKatoArt
      @DonnaKatoArt  2 роки тому

      Ok, so, The first one I made had the wire ends glued into the clay but if the angle is off, the pieces may angle up or down. Then I added beads at the ends, i sunk the wire inside if them and put screw eyepins in them, too. This way I can twist the eyepin until I have the perfect angle. Make sense? Hugs, D

    • @DonnaKatoArt
      @DonnaKatoArt  2 роки тому +1

      Hi! The texture sponges came from Dani and Natalia in Spain. I think you can find similar material here - it’s used for filtering air or water, I think. I like it because it’s rather loose and airy. Hugs, D
