Hey guys, future me here! I realise where I was going wrong on the tube bail. I should have laid the cane slices vertically with columns of 4, not horizontally in rows of 4. That is why the blocks kept distorting. My apologies and I hope you read this before if you make one 😳
I think your work is outstanding. So beautiful. I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you.
@@MaggieTD Awe, thank you 🥰
So creative and talented 👏 👌 ✨️ 😍
@@memyselfandeye8377 Thank you 🥰
Makes sense to me.
The colors in the pieces are extraordinarily beautiful. Your attention to detail is exceptional, the results are simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing your awesome talent, you are a great teacher and artist. It's so great to see someone taking the additional time as you did to make the perfect pieces instead of rushing through the creation process. Your work is incredible.
Thank you so much Ida for this comment. I really appreciate it ❤️

Thank you 🥰
❤. I, too, really like the white one. Thank you.
Thank you 🥰
Beautiful. Thank you so much for first listing the colors and telling us what they are. So many other channels do not do that. Thank you🥰
Thank you 🥰 I don't note colour recipes and can never make the same colour twice. 'A touch of ...' is all I can say but I think that's good so people can make their own unique colour.
Fantastic tutorial… Gorgeous effect… Beautiful jewelry pieces! Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
Thank you so much! 🥰
Lovely!
What a clever idea to place the box there! I don't know how many times I've had to chase down a piece after it flies away
I know, right! But I can't take credit for it. I got it from Jan Montarsi @Blendangles 🥰
Hi Kielan. Congrats on your channel. Great tutorial. Love the colors. TFS..Liz B

All the best 🤗
Merci Vee, et je suis heureux que vous m'ayez trouvé 🥰 Vous avez là un bon point - je pense que je vais utiliser votre suggestion et la changer en "Art à Porter" 😃
I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial! Ideas are flying through my head! 😂 when you used the larger buffer, what is that wheel made out of? Thank you!
Thank you 🥰 The small one is standard for Dremel and made of wool, and will give you a decent shine. The desktop polisher has cotton wheels, thats what gives the highest possible shine!
Where did you get your logo stamp from? I’m looking to get one made. Your work is stunning
Thank you Margaret 🥰 It's actually a die I had made to emboss my logo on metal tags for my macramé pieces. It's very heavy! I had it made on Etsy and can provide the link if you like.
Do you use any wax or buffing compound or just the alcohol?
Hey Marcie, I use alcohol to clean any dust off the piece before buffing and polishing, and don't use any wax. I don't think wax makes much of a difference, and don't have the money to fork out for it. You could use the tiniest amount of NIVEA cream as an alternative if you wanted to. There's no mastering of this mokume technique, it's very forgiving unlike other techniques. I'm going to do another tutorial in a week or so using my favourite technique I think you will like, and is good for beginners 🥰
HELLO- LOVE THIS DESIGN AND COLORS! Could you tell us please what you are using to smooth your pieces- that tool that you are using to smooth out- looks like a metal stone. Thank you.
Thank you 🥰 it’s called ‘steel soap’. I bought it off Amazon.
@@keipfr thank you so much!
DO YOU BAKE THE BAILS ON THE BUNA CORD?
No. Buna cords are rubber and will probably melt in the oven. You can put a leather cord in a tube bail to help keep a curved shape if you like, and it’s fine to go in the oven.
@@keipfr Thank you so much. I just found your channel and love your work so I am now subscribed! Thank you.
