As a Greek, this build literally looks like all of the houses I’ve ever stayed at some greek islands during my vacations with my parents when I was a kid. Amazing job Kayla!🫶🏻
Έλα λίγο η Ελλάδααααα
Πάμε Ελλαδάρα
δεν το περίμενα να την βλέπουν Έλληνες αχαχ
As a fellow Greek, I agree with you!

Kayla: here’s a blue suburban, but make it Greek
LOL! 19:57
As someone who doesn’t have this pack, the world is aesthetically beautiful but it’s also quite empty. There’s no collectibles or a lot of things in the environment to interact with that would make me want to explore the world and it’s so sad. I don’t wanna get into gameplay but everything could be so much better if it just had a bit more
It also looks nothing like any mediterranean country, like it was advertised to be.
There are collectibles, but they are specific to that world.
I'm pretty sure there are collectibles (notes in bottles), but from what I remember, they were as glitchy as the rest of the gameplay. Agreed on the rest!
@@tamaradavis2276 genuine question since I don’t have to pack to know, what collections does this pack have? I assume it must be similar to C&D’s bird feather collection. I was referring to like the frog logs or the little stones that pop up in other worlds
@@p_kix i completely forgot about the bottles. Thanks for that
Its not that bad until you try the gameplay😅
Yeees ❤
True dat
@@MOLPESIMSI thought the Cas was fine, before I was wanting more wedding dresses
UA-cam is drunk again its saying that this comment was 2 hours ago but the video was one hour ago💀💀💀
@@generic_username_here1 some of the dresses get colored when you use nails with them or certain shoes. And I would love to see some actual wedding veils in a game pack focused on weddings 😇 or flowers in hair (like a hat or even glued to a certain hairstyle, just give me something 😭)
For anybody wondering like Simsie how to use the wall flowers.
Make them smaller. Even the tiniest ones look better smaller and layered on top of each other. Also, layer them in different sizes and from different packs if you're using the ivy. It makes them look more natural.
Hopefully this helps someone have an easier time using them now!
I do agree though the shape isn't natural and that's what makes it hard to use. So you have to layer them to make them more natural which starts to cost a lot..
@@Eventide215 You're right. That's why I mostly put them in large amounts on community lots where it doesn't matter how much it costs. Would be easier to use if they were better shapes though.
picnic table, not a chess table??!?! simsie really is trying new things
I really hope they fix the pack because tartosa is so beautiful especially the beach at the front the world is so well made
I just wish you could build on the water on that lot. It's the only thing that frustrates me from the lot.
i remember how her first play of the pack was her gushing how it all looks so nice and then absolutely struggled in the actual wedding, making comments on how a lot of it is broken, so yeah i expected something to be fixed based on the title.
i still really want this pack for the world but i refuse to replace the default weddings
I remember that someone had made a mod that lets you choose between which wedding to use but I can't find it anywhere for some reason
twisted mexi has a mod that allows you to have both base game weddings and MWS weddings!! it’s called the dual wedding systems mod
@@mkayaddy THANK YOU THAT'S WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR FOR SO LONG!!!
there's a mod that lets you use both at the same time, can't remember the name sorry
@@mkayaddy i'll have to look into this, thanks!
first snowy escape, now tartosa? you're spoiling us 😍
btw in case anyone's curious, the second reference pic house is above a paint shop, that is literally what the sign says!
Now I want to try to recreate the actual, two-story build, and make it an artist's studio.
When I build Greek styled houses I use the cottage living blue windows but I cover the brown shutters with the horse ranch shutters, it doesnt clip and looks pretty good!👍 also you can size them down for smaller windows and place two together for larger shutters! Works really well!!❤️
Definitely going to steal this idea thank you!
Whenever a new sims pack releases, I go watch videos about the Wedding Stories release to remind myself that whatever is wrong with the new pack, it could be and has been worse!
that is until a new low gets reached
lol
I don't like that this game has such a pathetic standard....
Omg you should try to build cultural homes! I know that’s a task to do but each video should showcase Kayla just building homes specific to each culture, I think it would be fun and informative
OMG I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A HOUSE BASED OFF OF MOROCCOS CULTURE
Idk. It sounds more like a great way to gather a lot of negativity and critisism. Bc no matter what u do, there will always be people that will complain. U bring culture and nationalities into it, and u got a big uproar coming. I don't think Kayla would want/be able to handle that.
The idea itself is nice. Humanity just isn't.
@@LunaTheLoon Shoot I did forget that, I just thought Kayla making a Greek style home was so cool I thought the idea making homes around the world would be so fun and inclusive but I didn’t think of ALL of what could happen
@@antoinelk00 yeah the idea is really sweet and is great, but like the other commenter said people always seem to find problems with everything these days with cancel culture, so it’s probably better if she strays away from that
That’s my favorite thing to do in Sims 😭❤ from houses to sims themselves it’s so much fun
Sith the new nectar making stuff, I thought Tartosa was the perfect place to build a nice winery! 😍😍😍😍 So, so beautiful to build in!
I really like the Tartosa world used with the courtyard oasis pack, gives a really good historic Mediterranean vibe.
this is one of my fave builds you’ve ever done! the way you combined items that aren’t made to “match” and came up with such a gorgeous design is very impressive, i hope you’ll branch out more like this because this is beautiful 💜
I love how she got out of her comfort zone just to make us this beautiful build ❤ AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉
this build is giving the energy of a ✨fun, bold, coastal cottage airbnb✨ and i’m living for it 😌
i always play in this world and replace every single lot 🤣 i put restaurants, spas, night clubs, beach there instead and only one residental lot for my sim, who is having her best life in Tartosa with the brand new lots lmao
The fact that she’s talking about those blue and white houses in santorini is crazy considering I’m reading love and olives rn, which takes place in santorini and references those exact houses!
THANK YOU. I love Tartosa, I love the Greek theme of it and all the little in world lore to discover. Plus now that we have the nectar items from the Ranch pack, we can add even more practicality to the world’s story. I absolutely love Tartosa as a gameplay and building world.
Have almost all the packs now : favorite worlds would be Tartosa (Wedding Stories) Mt Komorebi (snowy escape) Brindleton Bay (Cats/Dogs), Sulani (Island Living) and San Myshuno (City Living). Winderburg (Get Together) is fun for shopping, but only like 1/3 of the world. Also really like Gilbert lake in San Sequoia (Growing Together) because it reminds of me of Green Lake in Seattle
OMG KAYLA!!!! 1.9 MILLION!!!! SO CLOSE TO 2 MIL!!!!!! 🎉❤
tartosa is one of my favorite worlds in the sims 4, honestly ive played in it for soooo long. all the maxis buildings in this world look genuinely good. the starter packs look cute and i love the overall style of everything.
I Love tartosa and the CAS stuff but I don’t want the normal weddings to be replaced by the buggy as heck events forever.. so I probably won’t buy that game pack like ever
If you're on PC and not against using Mods, there are a bunch of Mods dedicated to either fixing the My Wedding Stories weddings, or making it so they don't overwrite the OG style weddings.
The normal weddings aren't really replaced, the pack just makes the wedding event an actual event, you can still get your sims to elope. James Turner did it in one of his rags to riches series
Once I had a sims wedding and the flower girl sat down in the middle of the aisle
I mean, depending on her age, that's pretty accurate
it was a teenager-
Can you build a hacienda? It would be cool to look at your take on it
"if loving blue houses is wrong, i don't wanna be right" -Lilsimsie, birthday girl
I love seeing you step out of your comfort zone! The build is lovely :D
My personal story for this house is a retired elderly couple that live in it (since here in Germany a lot of people want to live in Italy, Spain or Croatia after they retire, this reminded me of that) and they have this room for their grandchild when they come visit, maybe they even moved in there because of a divorce/ bad situation with the parents.
A couple suggestions:
1.) incorporate a market stall on the bottom floor as the "shop" aspect. You can build them in with cheats.
2.) Play around with wall heights, trim and half walls to blend stuff in. Even some vines can help blur the line between roof and wall. The greek style can also be emulated with the jungle adventure terra cotta stuff.
I really like Tartosa and the build mode for Wedding Stories, I just wish there was a way to have the pack and still keep the basegame weddings
There is a way using twistedmexis mod, unless you're on console 😅
Not Me wanting to go in game rn and add the yacht to the water with T.O.O.L 💀😂
I really like the window between the kitchen and living room, they're a bit common in my area so it felt so familiar, and also comes in handy irl lol
Love building on the beach lot in Tartosa. It’s so beautiful
My birthday is also tomorrow and when I went to Greece, seeing all the beautiful architecture in Santorini was my favorite part! This was perfect timing lol
This build is absolutely beautiful!!! The half wall cut out between the kitchen and living room *chefs kiss* I def need to use that in my builds. Happy belated birthday!!!
спасибо за ежедневные видео! лучшая
I love watching all your builds. They're so much fun to watch and I learn something new quite often. 😊
The landscaping really made this build! It looks so good!
Happy Birthday, Kayla!! 🥳🎂🎉
And cute house!
The house looks great Kayla! I usually never see builders try to do different styles or things out of there comfort zone. Its refreshing to see houses that represent different cultures. Happy Birthday!
I love when she branches out, this is so pretty
I actually really love this house, it's so pretty! Also happy birthday Kayla, tomorrow is also my 2 year wedding anniversary 🩵
A tip for the flower wall thing is layering the different pieces ontop of eachother to fill in where the square parts meet! Hope that helps ^^
With plants, more is more!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLA!! I literally never build in Tartosa,it’s super pretty but I never found the urge to do so
I actually love evergreen harbor as a world. (Unpopular opinion I guess? Lol)
I absolutely love this house!! The blue accents are really nice in my opinion. ❤️😁
Forgotten Hollow has five lots. Personally, I think a lot of people sleep on Strangerville and its 11 lots. Those canyon views in the Shady Acres neighborhood are chef's kiss while Tartosa always seems oddly overcast.
lilsimsie building mediterranean houses makes me so happy
I love this build. All my builds end up blue too so your not alone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
kayla splitting up the living room and kitchen: “this might be a really weird thing to do”
me: *looks at the wall between my kitchen and living room that looks exactly like that*
The Sims 4 has so many beautiful but empty worlds. At this point in the game I imagine empty beautiful and shallow worlds is all they will give us. But I wish they would think of creative portable objects that can be dropped into these worlds that would build community across the different packs. Objects like a family picnic blanket, or a volleyball net, a picnic basket that works on all surfaces. Each new pack should have portable, community based objects that can be used in the different worlds.
My friend has a kitchen/living room with an opening like that! Super realistic!
It is your best build so far! SO PRETTY😊❤ you progressed so much!
You should’ve added a fan in every room
Very realistic
Tartosa is pretty but so bland... It's one of those worlds where there's nothing to do
watching Kayla build this beautiful home in Tartosa realllyyyyy makes me want to get the pack but I just can't get passed how glitchy the gameplay would be >.< I mean, I'm already struggling with the base game wedding so I can't imagine a whole other level of struggle 😅😅
I really enjoyed this building. It honestly looked cute from every angle; plus, you used some of my fav items in the whole game.
I am living in Greece so i was so happy to see you building this amazing house!!! Happy Birthday!!!❤❤🥳🥳🥳
this might be my favorite build by Kayla, i think it's just so beautiful! makes me wanna buy the packs so i can have it and live there, the blue is soooo pretty
My favorite builds are the ones where you just use whatever packs you want instead of just basegame. Love it!
THIS IS SUCH A CUTE BUILD!!!!! I love this so much
I absolutely love Tartosa over so many other worlds for my sims houses! Its so beautiful
So glad she went a bit out of her comfort zone for this! Every time she asked “is this too much?” I was practically yelling “NO!” at my screen, and I’m very glad she decided not to delete tons of items like she’s done in some other builds lol. All the details gave this build so much personality and beauty.
as someone who is from greece you did a good job on this build btw the shop is a paint shop in the picture you showed😊
one thing i would add to this build is either a small pool or some water features but this is a lovely build!
Love when Simsie pushes her boundaries and creates even more such awesome builds
This is giving Greek Airbnb in the best way possible
I just bought the My Wedding Stories last July sale, and I'm happy that it works for me. Yes, there's some glitches, but it's the Sjms, of course it's glitcy. I really enjoyed it, the build buy ang the world. I say it's more fun than horse ranch actually.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLA! 🥳🎉🎁🎊🎈
Desert luxe kit has some very nice mediterranean styled items.
as a greek person, the amount of seating and blue is very accurate.. this looks real lol
as a greek person, the amount of seating and blue is very accurate.. this looks real lol
I want another Tartosa type world; a Greek/Mediterranean world is desperately needed and if Tartosa is all we ever get that’s not enough or fair.
I'd love to see more southern hemisphere-inspired worlds first, but anything that's not America would be good. (Love the geographic diversity of the US, but it's been done, lol.)
I love that Kayla's does new things in her buildings!
Happy birthday Kayla!! I absolutely love this build and I kinda wanna get the pack now?!!!?
I love your blue suburbans, but I also love when you try different things. This build is amazing!
i LOVE this house
I’m gonna be honest I had very few issues with wedding stories. When it first came out it glitched out one time but I use it all the time and I love the world
Been waiting all day for Simsie
Sameee
that house is beautiful, I actually sent the video to a friend of mine because we're playing Grounded together and she was looking for ideas for her house
Whenever I watch Lilsimsie I make sure I got my dinner in my lap. She's my got to person to watch when eating jsjsjsjsjsjs
simsie can pull off everything! love it
im OBSESSED w this build
im getting major mamma mia vibes from this build and im loving it
Most of these buildings you showed in Santorini are churches actually. Just a fun fact. Beautiful work as always ❤️
i would've put tiles rather than wood for both the roof pieces and the flooring inside. Around these parts it's really hard to find wood floortiles, rooftiles and even walls because wood traps the heat and therefore we use a lot more ceramics and cement than wood.
I'm sooo obsessed with this!!!
Happy birthday Kayla, thanks for always bringing such amazing contents 😊❤
Its really awesome to see you build something different! This turned out beautiful
Kayla: Hmm this climbing plant is good but it kind of blocks the window...
Me, a european: yep, checks out.
Kayla: hmm the place is small but it can have so much patio
Me: correct again 😂
Especially when you use cc to build a proper church or wedding venue. 🤣
Gosh railing and foundation together are a totally disaster in this game...
it's giving me a hard mamma mia's vibe
Oh! And if anyone is looking for dragonfruit, there's the spot at the top of the world on the right the empty lot, there's a fishing spot below it, I've gotten a TON of it there!
Hi, sorry for this being three months late. Do you mean in Tartosa, the lot in the far left-upper corner?
Hello @lilsimsie ! I just wanted to say happy birthday! My 16th birthday was yesterday. Today (which is your birthday) I go to the first day of 10th grade! Love you lilsimsie!
Happy birthday Kayla! 🥳 Hope you have an amazing day!! 💗
It would be so cute to build a vineyard in Tartosa
I love when Kayla builds out of her comfort zone 💙
Honestly now, they’ve totally neglected to make more water/beach lots connected to water. Sulani should not be the only place we can have water front properties connected to water. We also need boat houses….💁♀️
