If anything, I'd say it makes it worse. Because typically you end up more depressed like "I really need to get out for a bit.." lol
It does however decrease your mood lol. Suddenly u find urself asking urself why ur talking to this tiny being whose only thoughts are "why is this person not feeding me" and "idk what she's saying but I'll just be supportive and gurgle at her"

i think it would improve it, at least mine ^^ but it depends on what kind of person you wanna talk to! i do talk to animals, and they can't understand you either, but it still makes me happy :)

As a programmer I can confirm that you do in fact get a 13 hour brain fry that can only be cured by wooing widows and blackmailing rich people. And at best, you can afford a pee-bush. If simsie only knew the apps I've made while watching Stanley die by chicken.

It's hilarious and irritating when your brain is fried on programming and you just can't seem to figure anything out.. You take like half a day off though and come back like "Oh my god.. that was so easy.. what was wrong with me??" Though got to admit having eureka moments is great.. you can't figure something out then you're just like off eating lunch and suddenly your brain is like "OH MY GOD I GOT IT!!" lol
let's face it programming is 20% skill 30% praying to the elder gods 50% pure black magic and 20% no idea why it works but I take it.
@@ADMNtek What's funny is that adds up to 120%.. and it's still accurate. Also I think the last 20% is much higher.. that's more like the 50% in my opinion. And that usually ends up with a 50/50 split later of "Why does that work anyway..?" Then you try to dissect it to find out and end up ruining it somehow.. Then when you put it all back *exactly* how it was it still doesn't work and you're just lost.

The one annoying thing about programming is that my Sims often will start working on a project like making a video game, that can already take a long time, then they'll constantly stop to grab a book or get up and do something and I have to keep clicking back in so they'll finish. Programming is definitely good for money but the royalties are less than with writing books.
thats why i play with free will off. i don't care if you die from a fire or starve, you're sitting there and read that goddamn robotics book 😂
They need to buff it to scale with other activities better. Some of the base game stuff is incomparable to later things, in the amount if involvement, money gained, or pricing especially.
@@selkiefluff The money-making activities are really weird.. You can make thousands on books quickly, but programming does less? Then with newer things like Cottage Living you can literally have a farm or ranch and make next to nothing?.. Sims 4 has always been really weird with pricing and earning money.
@@unicorn-in-the-library1508 Yeah I always have free will off for the selected sim. If I'm on that sim I don't need, nor want, them doing whatever they feel like doing.. Everyone else in the household can have free will while I'm not focused on them though. lol
Video idea: Simsie makes a build based off of all the get rich quick schemes Stanley has done and each room has to be based on them. And each room has to be based amount of money she earned from each scheme.

I've seen some Not So Berry 2 on tumblr a few times, goes from gen 11 to 20 (I don't remember who created it though)
i think she said on one of her streams that she wont because itll make the legacy challenge too long plus a lot of people have already made addons for the challenge like the Not So Berry 2 Challenge
There are already lots of versions of the NSB challenge and Kayla just started the original version on twitch and she said she wouldn’t right another version or she would I don’t remember.
@@cottage_fr0g213 she often says that she'd consider making a second version in the future, but not an add-on that would lengthen the challenge

I would love to see Stanley get rich (or not get rich) via the kids art table. Either by younger Stanley or stanleys charge

I think FakeGamerGirl made a kind of similar in theme video called "child labour pack"
I would enjoy a child labor attempt, ideally she would find a mod that lets children wear hotdog costumes. I'm not down for art table necessarily (that would be a long time!) but an army of children making candles should work. I also think children can work the sale table from City Living/Jungle Adventure/Eco Lifestyle, so one could be selling the wares while the others produce.

I'd love to see a legacy challenge where it's stanley lineage doing a different "get rich quick" career per generation. Gen 1 does dumpster diving, gen 2 does programming, etc. And the gen head gets the hotdog suit passed down to them.

Programming is most profitable when using the freelance career. One job when ur skill is at level 10 can make you 6-7k
I felt guilty when she said who would prank both toilets in the night club, because my Sim was just in that exact night club, pranking both toilets. We were already there playing piano for tips, and we needed to get our mischief up so we could steal the good stuff.

In case anyone’s wondering, book, song and video royalties are WAYY better than app/game royalties. You get like 200-400 the first two days and then by the end of the week you’re getting about $6 per game.

I really enjoyed Hillary’s story arc. The neighbourhood stories added so much depth!!
I know it takes satisfaction points, but once you get enough you can get the carefree reward trait so your sim never gets tense
After Hillary’s husband died she really went off the rails :( drastic life changes and clingy behavior can be symptoms of grief
It's hard to believe that neighborhood stories came out so long ago. It feels brand new still.
I genuinely had to "take a mental health break" from the Sims once when too many people kept using my computer when they'd come over. It made me... angry.

I literally only bought the Eco Lifestyle pack so that I could dumpster dive. It is the most fun way to get money. I usually have my sims do programming on the side though, it’s pretty good.

These get rich quick type vids are some of my favourite Simsie videos. I love them.
I’ve already had sims die from freak accidents - like furniture randomly “bursting into flames” - along with drowning and freezing to death - in my neighborhood stories. Checking the mailbox has never been so much fun!
Let’s admit it…… we all LOVE Stanley. He will always hold a special place in our hearts besties :)
What's funny is that I booted my game after the update is that the first notification of the neighborhood progression was someone's death , my second one the next day was also someone else's death 😭. I was like "ohh I know a UA-camr that would jealous if I told them this" 😂

U wouldn’t believe how many times my sims have gone to a food stall in San Myshuno and had the food they’ve boughten be picked up by other sims, so it’s nice to see it the other way around 😝

Once I made Don Lothario develop a deep friendship with Dina Caliente, and after womanizing around town he realised he's also in love, and married her and had 3 beatiful kids. Dina became an ambitious working mom and Don an upcoming actor and super dad. Not being able to handle his success and growing fame he cheated on Dina multiple times (didn't always go all the way though) and she suspected but since he was a great parent for their kids and always came back to her, she looked the other way. At one low point Dina also had a longer affair with a former flame who she planned to marry when she was young, but the guy turned out to be different then what she fantasized about and just made her realise how much she loves Don and they were meant to be together despite his flirty nature. Eventually Don grew out of cheating and even though he reached his career goal by becoming a world famous actor he was the happiest raising his 3 kids with Dina who he grew old with. 😄✌️
