Great video, love the curved mirror and shock covers, what a great idea. +1 for Scootyman, who lent me handlebar muffs once and then after a while just said I could keep them! What a guy!
Hi, do you also have problems with the suspension when riding with two adults? At my gt200 it reaches its limits very soon and very hard. Seems completely overstrained even with normal street bumbs.
Hi, I ride on a provisional licence in the UK so not allowed to take passenger. I agree the suspension is a bit soft, I’m planning to adjust mine and see if that improves things
@@scottishzoomer i already adjusted it to 'hard'. Didn't help. But I think there is no upgrade suspension available yet. Like this it is impossible to ride with two adults.
@@stefanconrads498 that’s interesting. I’ve seen some pictures on the SR GT owners Facebook group showing replacement shocks fitted so there seem to be alternatives out there
@@scottishzoomer I'll ask my local dealer next week. Actually I still cannot believe that I need to change a brand new suspension for only taking a passenger with me.
Hola, la mayoría de las cosas que compro vienen de eBay, me gusta mantener los costos realizados. Si hay uno específico, házmelo saber y veré si tengo un enlace a él.
@@ewanmcgovern Hi, the mirrors themselves are just the stock ones. I added mirror extenders to improve the rear view, just search eBay for 10mm mirror extenders Yamaha fitting, lots of sellers doing them. The PCX is a great scooter but I prefer the Aprilia, it’s a higher riding position and it handles beautifully. Thanks for watching the video, all the best.
Hi, thanks for watching my videos. The mirror extenders came from eBay, the link below is to the exact ones I bought: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161790702190?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=W21DxTW1RwC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=-jSnAGAAR1u&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
A divider in the underseat compartment is definitely useful!
I love the shock covers. I fitted a new one to mine last year and it’s already suffering with salt rot. Great video, thanks for making this.
A cheap accessory to help keep out winter damage 👍👍

Thanks very much
Thank you for video. Tips are very useful. Also I have one brand new SR GT 200. So decided what should I get for it.

Can you send me a link on the mirror buddy,
Do you this better than the pcx?

Dear Scottish Zoomer,I watched very useful montages from you and asked where did you supply mirror extenders?
Thank you in advance.

Hey brother, try to put a jcosta pro variator in the Aprilia, you are going to experience a new motorcycle. Leave eveything else intact.
@@braveheart7330 interesting, not a brand I had heard of before, thanks for the recommendation
