Quality review from a sport bike boi! I like that u figured out the legs out thing on the highway where u just chill hard and cruiseeeee. Dream bike for me. Video quality is getting better and better to, good job team!
Got a 2022 low rider S a month ago been absolutely loving it, went from a z400 to the Harley, was worried about the weight difference at first but it’s honestly not bad at all, granted the S is lighter than the ST, I have lower back problems so def needed to just switch to a cruiser so I can put taller bars and be more straight up, the 117 is still a ripper and a lot faster than my 400 so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on a lot by not upgrading to a sport bike instead
Definitely recommend taking out a 600cc/750cc sportbike sometime. The 117 is certainly gast enough, but the speed available from a proper sportsbike is intoxicating, even if only for a short ride.
@@jordanjoestar8839 I’ve def been thinking about getting another naked or sport bike in the future for when I wanna take short quick rides, I just went to the cruiser cause I have a really bad lower back and even on a naked I couldn’t ride for more than 45 min
Yea got a sportster, an r6 and a bmw r90. If I ever buy another, it’d be a Low Rider S. I’m good off the ST since I don’t typically do longer rides. Hell, when I bought the RnineT, I rode it back 500miles from SoCal to the bay. So comfort, I’m sure an LRS would impress me more than anything I’ve ever ridden. And wind, I’ll take that shit to the chest, I don’t fatigue as easily as others.
I really do like this bike visually, but I got the incurable disease of "poor" so I'll have to wait till their about 10 years old. Good first ride! Fun video.
OC: Nice review Chase and Team. I own a 2016 Road King, which I purchased new. it only took a few rides to get used to the turn signal buttons, as I was used to the Honda set up. The Harley V-twin power delivery, low end torque, and belt drive is very smooth, satisfying and rather addicting. One thing you might do on future Harley Davidson test ride videos is to show the dealership in your videos. Keep up the good work and ride safe!
Great video. First thing when I rode the Low Rider S that I noticed was how light it felt. My Sportster (100lb or more less) actually feels heavier in alot of ways due to the center of gravity and such. Bike is smooth and the new softtail frame with the inverted front forks really handles world class in the cruiser segment. Harley finally nailed it and made a much better version of the Dyna Low Rider S. Not that that bike was bad per say, this one is just that good!
OC I have the m8 114 stage 3. It's a good engine now that they solved the sumping issue. The rv max is good for the brand. I haven't ridden one yet. But would be curious when the bump in engine size will hit the cvo. The cvo used to always be the high hp engine. But now it'd the same as this lowrider st.
Best ST vid on yt. Really need a Midnight Crimson colour choice on these. I’ll wait on a miracle for next years models. And someone needs to make a Road Glide type license plate/taillight mod for this bike asap.
I wanted to like the Lowrider ST but the suspension was not great and the fairing sucked at deflecting wind. Knees were in my chest and got speed wobbles at 90+. I feel it’s a hype bike not worth the $. You would need to throw 5-10k into comfortable and ride right. It looks cool though. I’m 6’ 2
mids are awesome or slightly forward mids. My theory is vertical distance between the seat and the foot control needs to be greater to be comfortable so higher seat or lower pegs or both. and maybe more pullback on the handlebars?
Nice review! Bike needs a stage four set up, move mid controls just a little further forward, then BANG instant power. I’m Interested in the rev max, but Milwaukee 8 looks great!
Great review as always..I have the 21 low rider S and did consider this ST..until I test rode the bmw gsa…wow! Best way to describe that GS is Holy comfort, Batman!! Haha
Smoked turn signal lenses are available most anywhere (including any HD shop), which will make those lights disappear. Personally, I can't wait for the 114" equivalent RevMax engine to be stuffed into the HD Cruiser line-up. That's an easy 150+ horsepower, with no performance mods.
My ElDiablo is finally ready with forward controls ( like on my Street Bob Factory Custom 103c.i trade in) fat flat air gulper, short shot pipes, dyno 110-115 hp. Thanks for the video 😎👍👍👍👍👍😎
Wow, that throttle response around the 2:00 mark was surprisingly sluggish. I’m not familiar with softails - is it because these motors run counterbalancer(s)?
Watch the review from Craig with Bikes and Beards. Very good review of the LRST. I'd buy one if the asking price wasn't ridiculously high. Its an awesome bike, but not worth what the dealers are asking.
Interesting to me that the st has mid controls and the s has forward. Figured the bike that’s suppose to also be a touring bike would have the more relaxed body position
OC crew - another great video review! This is a nice bike. Probably first bike that has gotten me excited from HD. I have a 2016 Ducati xDiavel that I love dearly, but would love to potentially own a Harley on day. This would be a good one. Only thing that gets me is pricing. Can get so much more for that much money that you really need to want one in order to pull the trigger. I think the M8s and Rev Max engines all serve different purposes. Good for them to build on both and offer variety to match the different riding styles out there - only way to stay relevant and hit a broader market.
I love your videos man!!! Can you make a video on your vlog gear? I want to buy hero 10 too and want to know what mic how to connect how to put it on the helmet, hope you can make a video on it please ☺️
Great review Chase - Growing up HD (my Dad) I eventually went GoldWing DCT and thought about adding the Sportster S when it dropped - But thanks to yer review of the Kawasaki H2 SE-SX I went hard sport tour as an alternative to the 750lbs GL1800 cruiser - If you get the chance you'll love all the added Tech on the new 22' model
Great video man. I actually just bought a 2022 ST in vivid black from Killer Creek not much after watching this video a few weeks ago. (Shout out to Billy who sold me the bike) was in a toss up between this or the Indian Chief bobber Dark Horse and honestly I don’t regret the purchase. Amazing bike, great review, stay safe out there.
I went to buy a lowrider st and went home with the sportster s. I came from sport bikes and buells though. At 40 I thought the lowrider st would still be sporty enough but after riding the sportster s i just couldn't do it. Idk if i made the right call but i love my sporty

@@csolivais1979 which is silly. There’s really not a big noticeable difference from the 107. It’s not like going from a Ninja 400 to a 636. Then they came out with the Revolution engine on the V-Rod, I was sold. Have been riding V-Rods since '06, and absolutely love that engine. I will have to get a ride on the Low Rider ST to check it out for myself!

The M8 is awesome. Consistent, smooth power. I have a street glide with the 107 and a bit more power would be nice but that’s just my sport bike background coming out. Nope. Wasn't the thumbnail. Needs forward controls and 18 inch mini apes.( I comment as I watch). I'm buying one of these bikes don't get me wrong. I'm buying it gently used because I'm not doing the Harley fleecing. I think that's part of the unions fault. Not sure about that. Anyway I can find that bike with less than 10k on the odometer for 15 grand. I turn wrenches so it works out for me. Everyone should buy used Harleys. I have an 05 wide glide I bought for 5k with 18 k on the odometer. I bought an 02 lowrider for 2k with 25k on the odometer. I bought a 57 ironhead vintage chopper from the early 70s. Springer, goofy footed still running the magneto. Raked, hardtail, springer, lowered, stretched and king and queen seat. 9 foot wheelbase. 15 hundred dollars. Also have a Fatboy. 1500 dollars. 10 grand I have all these bikes. Im a biker though. The reason Harley has monopolized on the image but distanced themselves from it. It's what kept them alive. Well, that and the employees buying the company from A.M.F. when they went belly up. All the T.V. shows about motorcycles from the discovery channel helped with all the motorcycle enthusiast and the outright posers. Glad all of you are there. It makes it fun.
Nice bike, but ? Where are the lowers, floorboards are better than foot pegs! I like the front fairing on the road glide much better, the bags are smaller on ST, and the bike is so close in price to the road glide! It’s a no brainer, RoadGlide all the way!😎👍🙀
The instrument panel is horrible. They should have dropped in the circular gps digital system there. For the weight of the bike, just go get a rg or sg. The 117 is nice. That leg position is rough!
22k and they give you that tiny Casio watch dash.

21k wtf noo!!! Imagine having that kind of cash in front of the naked market. You'd get a lot more bike. I get cruisers but their price is way high.
It’ll hold its value a lot more than most other naked
@@dmvbenz7536 Well, most don't buy a 21K bike to sell it.
It’s a no brainer, RoadGlide all the way!😎👍🙀
Whoops I forgot, the Road Glide much more comfortable on long rides, foot position on Road Glide better too!
🔥
The instrument panel is horrible. They should have dropped in the circular gps digital system there. For the weight of the bike, just go get a rg or sg. The 117 is nice. That leg position is rough!
Add a new cam, pipe and Dyno tune. Wakes the bike up dramatically
Shipped weight 650.
I'd rather do a Goldwing. You should do that comparison. OC
Honda rebel 1100 pls!!!!!!
21,000 bucks MSRP - 2 years later 11,000 on a trade in :( Nope .....
Kickstand ain’t that hard to figure out dude🤦🏻♂️
Can you share your height with us? thx
O.k. then. It was the thumbnail. Must have been camera angle.
