I FINALLY get to test out the Sportster S on my home turf!! Will I still enjoy it as much as I did in Cali? Let's find out. Also, thank god for this new jacket. If yall are looking for a top quality summer jacket I couldn't recommend this one more: imp.i104546.net/EaAJxP

If you can max out the speed, or push it around 215kph, let me know or make a video... Lots of Sportster S having issues where the engine dies... I own one and mine died at 215 and 200kph... some had issues where they shut down at 120, 180 and 200kph...

I bought my Nintendo 64 back in like 19 96 maybe and my first game was Star Wars Shadows of the empire. I also really like that bike but I'd rather have the Fat Bob because if I'm going to pay this much money for that thing then I might as well go look for a used Fat Bob for the same price or even less

I’ve had mine for four months now and it still pulls my trigger. This is my 27th bike spanning some 38 years and I love it. It’s just so playful and I feel so in control. When I started looking at what was out there I saw the Sportster S and fell in love. The thing is just so beautiful. You'll notice that the shifter has a better feedback as the bike approaches break-in (1000 miles US). Also, the shifter will tend to have better feedback if you pre-load the shift lever. To pre-load the shift lever apply slight pressure up on the lever before shifting, then quick clutch pull to friction zone with slight throttle blip. You'll notice the shifter snaps into gear with nice positive feedback. This also improves as the bike breaks in. One of the goals of break-in is to run the transmission through all gears smoothly so that the gear dogs wear in. As the gear dogs wear in the shift feedback improves.
That said, the shifter on mine 'still' does not feel like the traditional Harley shifter, even after 1000 miles. But, it is smooth and does have positive feedback.

I would recommend anyone that's not sure about the bike really need to hop on one themselves. I rode 2 different ones at Sturgis in August and I loved how it felt riding it. Honestly I ride a trike regularly and have been looking for 2s to ride and this bike met what I was looking for out of a 2s that wasn't a sports bike due to how you have to sit and lean riding on them. i was shocked that for 15k that it came with the cruise control and even heated grips.

OC Chase I understand why you like the S so much. I rode Sport Bikes and sold off my R1 about 10 years ago and bought a Night Train I never did make the transition to a pure cruiser. it lasted 2 years before I decided to sell it and stopped riding altogether. Last year before the announcement of new Sportster line up I ended up buying a Vrod Muscle....... closer at least power wise to my R1 but with the forward controls and 675 lbs and clam shell ergo's It wasn't a cruiser, nor a sport bike. After watching your California Presser I order a 2022 Vivid Black complete with Mid Controls! Love your channel.

You know what mate, you've shown it from angles I've not seen in press shots and it looks even better. I've always though it was a good looking bike but those straight on front and rear shots show a lot more aggression than the svelte side view implies. I really like what I see. When you say it's small though, is it as small as the Livewire? Because as good as that thing looks it feels like a toy with 6'3" of me sitting on it.

Cool looking bike. AND a water-cooled engine for us city commuters (ok I can live with the loss of "Harleyism")!!! But why? WHY? not dual Brembos in the front wheel? The bike's cost doesn't justify the lack of... Always safety first!

What do we think about this as a beginner bike? Especially with the different power modes and low seat hight…

Seen a lot of these motors from
2021 grenade themselves, especially in the pan American. Hope Harley fixed that.

The bike needs taller handlebars. Other than that it's an amazing bike with new technology, a new engine that's less labor intensive, more powerful, and most of all liquid-cooled that takes care of a variety of issues.

    Thank you.
Also, have you noticed the redline at 8k - 9k???
Also, also cardo packtalk and sportster s tft + controls reduces volume. Lmk if you find a fix. Thanks.
