We have a six month male white shepherd. He is very smart and loving. He definitely needs attention. But we are lucky and my wife is home with him. He has brought so much love and joy to our home.

Glad to hear I'm not alone thinking they are weird. I had many different breeds, nordic ones but my swiss shepherd can act very weird but in a good way. He always makes me laugh ❤
You`re so right: I`ve got two White German Shepherds, after Setters and "Mixtures from the Streets". The last one, Luca, died in this year, the nex one HAS TO BE a White again!! Greeting from Jena/Germany.
Love my WSS more and more each day. He's not the most affectionate dog, but he tolerates me showering him with hugs and kisses all the time. He's my giant, fluffy cotton ball, with teeth. ❤

I’m a WGSD owner and I’m glad to finally see a video showing and explaining the differences between them. Mine is a good guard dog. Most people get surprised when they see him attack, guard or greet on command.

I also had a WSS, she dog, and share a beautiful time with the most inteligent, nice, friendly dog, for a 11.5 ys. A breed for excelent recomendation to have, for the whole family, especially for kids.

I have a White Swiss Shepherd bitch who is nearly five years old. She is very lively but adapts to my sedentary lifestyle, after all, I'll be seventy-five next month. She is lying at my feet as I type this. She is a joy to own even if she deposits her white fur all over the house. We go for two walks a day, however, she is very defensive of me and she'll growl and bark at any strange dogs.

My white German shepherd service k9 passed away. I need another shepherd. I have had them since 1972. I need another one. I would like it to be my be 4 or 5 years old. Because I don't want to go thought puppy stage. I have a trainer to help me be this k9 a service dog thankyou

there r swiss shepherd breeders in the US. look at sites such as good dog. there r a handful of em depending on state. theres two in florida i believe and even oregon!.

My late GSD was *very* family orientaded. She'd always take care of all the family members, including the cat. It's all in the way you raise them, so that was an unfair comparison :(
I still miss her dearly, and the main reason why I'm getting a WSS now instead of another GSD is because I want a dog that's less stigmatized and wouldn't have so many people just avoid us when we go for a walk like she's gonna mawl them, even tho all she's doing is walking happily by my side. It feels racist saying this, but white looks "less dangerous."

My girl took off a chicken's head at 3 months old. The day before she was laying next to the hens and acting friendly. Hopefully she knows not too kill them anymore after being scolded.
