Not many breeders of wolfdogs - or any breed of cat or dog - breed for personality. So kudos to this woman (especially since she is a wolfdog breeder) for paying extra careful attention to the personality of the animals she chooses for breeding.
Hey me to . I thought about him running those trails at the dog park. He's so pretty. I love to watch him run. Kurgan is the man. I been watching him seance he was a pup.
I just subscribed to Kurgen's channel, thanks for the recommendation! They are such beautiful babies, so glad she took out the bad hips. While the slope looks cool, I can't help but cringe when I see it. Take care!
She is literally creating a breed. Similar to the gentleman who made the Leonburger and the sir who made the Doberman. She is taking her time and research to create a new breed. People don't do this anymore. But she is actually creating a breed the old school way. That's just wow.
@Jacob Tyler Not only that, but my husband, without talking it over with me, bought a wolf/husky combination and I would never again have a part-wolf dog. I don't respect this woman and I question her treatment of her two black German Shepherds from what their body language is telling me. What she's doing, I believe, is about making money because so many people are fascinated by wolves. It isn't fair to part-wolves who have to live in captivity like dog but with the hunting and "pack"-ing and other instincts of wolves.
I love the fact that they are being bred for disposition and the straight hips. We had an all black shepherd for a while who was the sweetest dog we have ever had. He was a rescue and unfortunately, he had really bad epilepsy and died at about 9 or 10.

I'm so glad u had this video. .I've been checking out vikki page on her dogs. I'm in love. My Clyde passed away a year ago and looks just like these gorgeous animals... I cried while watching this.
I wanted one so bad, but just didn't have the property. Now I've got a Yakutian Laika, so 3 dogs is all I can have for now. They are a good pack, but I love these dogs and appreciate that Vickie made such a great breed!!! They are awesome with you Anneka! Very sweet, like the northern breeds. Such a good combo!!
Well I'll be .... this is very cool to see the origins of Kurgan. I have been watching the adventures of Kurgan, Lobo, ULU and now Kurgan & Ulu's 1st and 2nd litters. I just came from the 1ST508TH AIRBORNE channel to here. I've been watching them for a number of years now, and would recommend his channel to everyone, as well as your channel Anneka. Take care, and thanks for this vid in particular.
I groom one. Named blue. His coat is a gorgeous blue gray. Lighter than the ones shown in the video. Gorgeous yellow eyes. He’s a sweetheart if he trust you. If not... watch out. He’s actually started to guard me when I’m grooming him, if anyone comes near me. I believe his owners got him from the UK or France. I cannot wait to own one of these amazing animals one day. Just remember like any breed they require a lot of training. Especially considering they have timber wolf in them. I was worried I may have to go over seas to get a good bred pup but this videos showing me that this breeder knows what she’s talking about, which makes me happy I don’t have to travel as far.
And there she is! The lovely wolf lady! Hi Anneka! Been so long since I visited. I am finally getting alerts now. Getting old and so many channels I sub to. I get lost! I also have New York Wolf Sanctuary and Brave Wilderness and Megabattie and Animal Wonders and Brian's Art for Animals and....well you know lol! These guys were breathtakingly beautiful! Knew right away when I saw the 63%! So much wolf! Magnificent! But very definite and quick education for anyone paying attention. Immediate differences from the GSD and say 16% eh? You can always tell the good animal people as well. THEY know. THEY will tell you. My late bro and his wife have a gorgeous black GSD. She found him wandering the streets by their house. The first time we went out and found him I almost had a heart attack! He was running about a block down but I thought it was a HORSE. He is monstrous! She finally coaxed him to their house. He is elderly now. Very for such a huge guy. About 14. We were thinking he had some wolf in him but the DNA said no...The first time I actually met him we were out in the yard. He was coming at me and she said he's going to bite watch out! Nope. I knew what he was on about. He was a pup and he wanted to play. So we did! He loved my big fur(faux of course!) fuzzy long coat. We played every day I was there after that. I just love him. Sadly we have been rather estranged and then my bro passed in August. He was confined to a wheelchair for many years. I haven't been able to go visit her and Midnite yet but I'm hoping. I've wished for a wolfdog often in the years I've been learning. Used to have some online friends-The Dro-who have one AND a Fennec-so I watched a lot of home and hiking action there. Her name is Luna. Fennec is Scout. Anyhoo I know I am blabbering. Sorry! Just wanted to thank you for the vid and its been so long since I saw one...I just love dogs and wolves. ALL critters! My whole fam! We have had many many different animal friends over many many years. Including raccoons and iguanas and rats and doves and several types of turtles and.....many were rescues. We have had pitbulls for years as well. Love them very much too. Another lover who is misunderstood and many are with the wrong humans. Just like wolves and wolfdogs. Huskies and Collies Rotties and Chows(scariest breed to me)we've had them all. And cats. OK. I'm done haha! Lovely exciting beautiful creatures these! Thank you for bringing them to us! Wish we could bring a pup into our fam. I will adopt from a shelter again tho when we are ready. We just lost our jackrat so kinda sad right now. My old lady shih tzu and our pibble really miss him too so.....Thank you Anneka and friends! I hope your amazing work goes on forever! God bless.🐾😘🐺✌🙏😇
Have you asked for 1and called her? I did 2yrs ago. She was having a on going battle with a friend who claims they were parters and then had some falling out. A week later she called me completely drunk screaming that she had a female ready for me. I said I asked for a male. I have another female dog that has to be the only female in the house. She went on a 10 minute drunk tirade only to be told "lady if you call her like this again we are calling the police". Go ahead have fun dealing with her. Good luck.
What a fabulous video! I never heard of a Blue Bay Shepard. What a great introduction. These are amazing & beautiful creatures. I love their temperament. The explanation regarding the creation of this breed is so interesting. I can not imagine what it was like being in the midst of all these creatures, surrounded by them. Another fabulous video! Thank you so much!
Shirley Pena I don’t recall asking for your opinion on my taste, you old jealous hag. Looking at your picture, you need to keep your mouth closed and your opinion about someone else’s taste, to yourself. You are obviously a Liberal that has to shut down and cancel someone else’s right to speak. I was being kind to Anneka and giving her a compliment. You came out of nowhere with a real ignorant comment. Now take your Geritol, put your dentures in the cup by your bedside and go to sleep.
I had a half and half .my brother lived in North Nebraska and had a German shepherd female he let her out to go to the bath room and heard her help looked out and she was hung up with a wolf. He moved back here to Alabama gave me a pup when they were born. His female only had two both females but one didn't make it so he said this pup was special that's why he gave it to me and he knew I'd take care of her. And spoil her. Lol I did. My hole family spoiled her. That was the best pet I ever had. Spent 16years with her til she passed away.. I never bred her. She sleep right in the bed every nite with me I worked at my family's farm so she went every where with me. Never had one day with out her. Some things just can't be replaced. Her name was ski.
You should look at the Italian Pastore Maremmano as well, incredibly beautiful dogs. A very ancient breed that was used by shepherds to fend off wolves on the Italian alps.
Beautiful dogs. Having grown up in eastern tennessee back in 1980's a guy use to bring his timber wolf/shepherd mixed big dog by Anna's pizza where I worked my last 2 years of college. Your dog's remind me of that man's dog.
a horrid breeder that let my wolfdog nearly starve to death on a foreclosed property , many bad things have happened to her animals once sold. theres no such thing as a good wolfdog breeder
Late to the party here, but was surprised how close she was putting her face to the dogs that really don’t know her. Says a lot about her dogs, but surprised she would risk it.
Part wolf. You have to sit with mouth open. They lick your mouth. It's a symbol of greeting, acceptance and submission. Informing the hierarchy out in the pack.
Anneka do the American Alsatian! They are a large breed that was started 30 years ago by Louis Schwarz who is trying to breed a large breed companion dogs that looks like the extinct dire wolf. Love your videos!!
@@nataliemorelli-morrill4418 No you are incorrect. The Alsatian is what the brits called the GSD because of the war. The American GSD is from the German gsd in ported to the USA in the early 1900s. They were fantastic dogs until the American AKC got ahold of them. There is only one true standard of the breed. The German Shephard creator Max Emil Friedrich von Stephanitz. You want to learn about the dog read German shepherd dog in word and picture.
It's great to see the Blue Bay Shepherds get some recognition! My Fenrir is out of Frost and Sugar. He came out a with a bit too much wolf, but nonetheless classified as the ABBS Line😊. If anyone has questions on owning let me know!
@@jujulevie4057 I believe the difficulties I have with Fenrir are ones that every wolf-dog owner experiences. A very intelligent dog that is self serving and independent of it's owner. Let's not forget that the Blue Bay Shepherds range greatly wit their % of wolf. Fenrir came out at 38% so he is extremely high for a blue bay. The medium ive been seeing lately is 8-18%. I suggest talking with vicki, the breeder, about the pairings that are available. I will be uploading a video soon explaining the different characteristics i experienced with fen as he grew and his behavior changes and so on. Hopefully to help educate those that are interesting in wolfdogs.
@@adventuresoffenrirandghost2659 gotcha. i've played with a female blue bay before and she was basically a lap dog. Super playful. But that is quite high content-wise compared to the doggo I met. I will definitely check out your vid tho!
@@jujulevie4057 Fenrir is definitely a giant lap dog. Over the months the more time i spent with him the more open and comfortable he became. Around people he knows hes a giant baby. around strangersz especially tall men, he becomes skittish until he smells them. They're definitely good dogs and compared to other wolf dogs much better temperament wise. Just mentally prepare yourself for the struggle of a stubborn genius dog! lol Hope this helps!(:

I watched this and immediately inquired about adopting. I recently lost my German Shepherd Rex who was the greatest thing I’ve ever been apart of. These look amazing, and if i end up getting one ill be back on here to give an update. *FINGERS CROSSED*
These dogs are so beautiful wow
I'm so glad u had this video. .I've been checking out vikki page on her dogs. I'm in love. My Clyde passed away a year ago and looks just like these gorgeous animals... I cried while watching this.
The breeder is creating a line out of love and passion, not profit driven. Absolutely beautiful people and animals.
Beautiful companions, how could anyone give this video a thumbs down.
Kurgan is such a handsome dog. The new Lycans are gorgeous.
I would love to have one of these Blue Bays.
You are welcome 💕
Ditto how I just found her too!
Such a stunning dogs id love to see the popularity of this breed grow and welcomed into the UK
Always a pleasure to follow you in your doggy adventures
Holly smokes......how beautiful... I have a Blue Heeler, love her to death, these shepherds are gorgeous.
Slate (slade?) is beautiful! I love how this breed sheds out to be lighter in colour.
Stunningly beautiful dogs.
They are beautiful and they have a lovely temperament! The only thing that makes me hesitant to want to own one is their energy levels :)
Need to be a hiker !
nice shoutout to Kurgan! and the 1st508th Airborne channel, the channel is great and Kurgan is absolutely awesome!
Very near to the black north wolves. Cheers guys
These dogs are so sweet and beautiful thank you for this video.Heavenly father bless you always.and thank you for loving animals.
What a lovely lady and she knows what shes doing in breeding them.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨
Good luck.
Quite beautiful and calm pups.
No it’s not she mating 2 family’s med that sick and wrong
No it’s not
Wow I find kurgan’s background in here and it’s amazing how kurgan has become recognized leaving new generations and magnificent specimens
They're both beautiful 😍😍
Anneka is always shining.
How beautiful! And so loved❤️
These dogs are so beautiful. Vision is a vision. ☺
What a stunning looking woman. The dogs are amazing also. But Anneka Svenska, my lord, she is beautiful.
lmfaooo
@Thomas Fourounjian
If you like skinny women with a flat ass, no hips, legs like a chicken and saggy breasts then yeah, she's a real beauty.
They look like direwolves! So gorgeous!
Beautiful, beautiful dogs.
Shout out to Krugan !! These are gorgeous dogs from a wonderful breeder.
a horrid breeder that let my wolfdog nearly starve to death on a foreclosed property , many bad things have happened to her animals once sold. theres no such thing as a good wolfdog breeder
Beautiful pair- thanks so much
Late to the party here, but was surprised how close she was putting her face to the dogs that really don’t know her. Says a lot about her dogs, but surprised she would risk it.
Part wolf. You have to sit with mouth open. They lick your mouth. It's a symbol of greeting, acceptance and submission. Informing the hierarchy out in the pack.
Hello from USA 🇺🇸 They are Gorgeous.
2 cats could be the only explanation for the thumbs down!!! These dogs are beautiful!!!❤
Or that the breeder kept the gene pool small to start with?
I have the traditional German shepherd with the iconic colourings, he is 13 years old still loves his walks
Anneka do the American Alsatian! They are a large breed that was started 30 years ago by Louis Schwarz who is trying to breed a large breed companion dogs that looks like the extinct dire wolf.
Love your videos!!
@Crown Commando I know. The GSD was the foundation base for the Dire Wolf Project American Alsatian breed
@Crown Commando
It is a shepherd, not 'Shepard.' They were originally created as herding dogs.
@@5150GSD The British did call the German Shepard an Alsatian. Natalie Morrill is correct
@@slobama Yes your right they did call the GSD an Alsatian.
what a Blessed adventure you took. LOVE THIS animal .
I actually discovered Kurgan's channel a couple of weeks ago and was really interested in the Blue Bay Shepherd. Good timing :) and a great video!
😀👍🐺
I love Kurgan and how patient and good he has been with Rekker and Magi.
Love those raw feeding videos, too!!
blue bay shepherd breeder only cares about money and could care less hat happens to their animals
How much are they ?
I learned a lot today. I had white German Shepherds, which one of the first GSD was white. .This explained a lot 😊
I love how all these dogs take instantly to you
Great episode! Thank you so much!
They are so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! 😘😘😘❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
They are beautiful
What a beauty......coats are so nice...
I can't wait to be able to adopt one and train as a service dog and be my best mate for life
Really enjoyed this, thanks for uploading. Can’t understand why certain people out there have given this vid a thumbs down :(
I'd love to see a Newfoundland comprehensive review, given how common and what a great breed they are!
How could this video get any dislikes these are beautiful dogs
wow those wolfdogs are super beautiful 0_0
Wow what a beautiful animal.
It's great to see the Blue Bay Shepherds get some recognition! My Fenrir is out of Frost and Sugar. He came out a with a bit too much wolf, but nonetheless classified as the ABBS Line😊. If anyone has questions on owning let me know!
Have you had any serious difficulties with Fenrir?
Just mentally prepare yourself for the struggle of a stubborn genius dog! lol
Hope this helps!(:
Holy shit you have a blue bay named fenrir? My partner and I are planning on getting a blue bay asap, and since I love Norse mythology and our cat is named Loki, we plan on naming ours Fenrir since he's the son of Loki. What a coincidence!
She is breeding with no close related inbreeding
(Though inbreeding isnt horrible with the right conditions)
She is taking dogs from different areas where they haven't been sullied.
and taking the time to do it right
This is amazing.
Stfu u sicko
Wow thank you so much for featuring the Blue Bay!! I love mine and she has a You tube channel if you want to see more of the Blue Bay!! World of Woo on UA-cam!!
I love Woo..... waiting for some little Tonkawoos. You and Bonnie need to instigate
Hi aunt Jennie,
I really love the videos of Woo with Tonka and Monroe
Heading to world of woo now..lol
Yes Jen I love Woo, and Chadds dog Kurgan.
Gorgeous!
They're beautiful 💖💙😍🐾🐾
Wow, beautiful dogs.
My German Shepherd is blue but wow i never seen a dog like that
Wow! I am a huge shepherd fan and have owned many in the past. But I have never heard of this breed! I will definitely keep them in mind for the next time I am adopting!
Excellent breeding philosphy. Thoughtful and logical ... and practical.
They are gorgeous. Wow
BLESS HER FOR NOT INBREEDING ! ❤
Pablo Ramos so breeding with first cousins is ok...oh and by the way !the man that owns the dog kurgan on the other UA-cam channel recently bred him with his own daughter...so the 7 puppies produced are inbred.
She DID INBREED BROTHER to SISTER !!! WTH are you saying???
No... She took two shepherd siblings to two wolf dog siblings to make the blue bay Shepard.
I thought she said she did??
Stunning and stubborn Breed , Beautiful dog
