I just lost my White Swiss Shepherd a week ago and I am shattered. He was so kind and loving and without a doubt my best friend. I found him as a pup in the Everglades in Florida 13 years ago. He was as classically beautiful as any in this video. His name was Harley. Not since the loss of my mother have I mourned as I am now. Thank you so much for this video. It brought back so many memories.
I lost Tara my white german shepherd 5 days ago. She was 13 years old. Totally irreplaceable. She kept going right until the end even with severe arthritis. Never met a stronger dog ever. She was so sociable with dogs and children and people. Extremely clever. She ran rings around us and trained us very well. One day we will be reunited. Shes left such a huge hole in our lives. I really dont know how to live without her but God willing I will find a way through this. I raise a glass to you Tara, I was so blessed to have you 🥰♥️♥️♥️
Prepare to groom a lot or deal with a lot of shedding. Not for people with asthma or heyfever. Also very sound sensitive, prone to arthritis and can be nervous.
@@jiritichy7967 I don't understand why someone would sell a beagle as a poodle. They are White Swiss Shepherds as intelligent and more beautiful than even the German Shepherd. That's just silly on the part of anyone who would even try.
How do you like the female vs the male? Have you owned a male? I just lost mine and I feel like I lost my child. He was such a beautiful animal. So heartbroken.

Watch again the video. It's not a German Shepard it's an other breed that come from the same common ancestor. It's a different breed with a very different personality. And BTW in this video he says that they are natural guard dogs but it's not true. I'm about to have one (in a few weeks!) and the owners and many other videos point this big difference between the two breeds. BBS are more friendly and scared. If you are an American living in Philippines you can do as I did and look on google.

I think the english breed name is a bit confusing.
(White) german shepherd and white swiss shepherds are actually two different breeds.
Wonderful Shepherds. Active, loyal, intelligent, but also loving and affectionate. Perfect dogs.

White color is not allowed by AK standard and by many other standards and therefore, a white dog is not officially a German shepherd.

Is it enough to just walk this dog 3 times a day and play fetch during those walks so i wouldn’t have to run myself?

Not for conformation. But they’re accepted for other dog show activities by the clubs.
It used to be a dq in the gsd but now it's a separate breed, you see them a lot on Fci dog shows
