Did LUKE Imagine the TWIN SUNS in THAT Scene? (CANON) - Star Wars The Last Jedi Explained

- In Star Wars The Last Jedi, during THAT ending scene with Luke Skwaylker...did he imagine the binary suns as a pay of homage towards A New Hope? Or were they actually there?
I hope this video answers that question for you if you had it.
Did you enjoy yesterday's Darth Vader comic brought to life? Did you like Snoke's role in The Last Jedi? What about Kylo Ren and Rey's?

How'd you guys handle that scene??
Have an awesome day!!
May the force be with you!!
It would be great if you would make a video about the force ghosts, how they see the force throu theyr own eyes and if they have "free time"
Star Wars Theory I cried, I also cried when rose survived
Star Wars Theory I got an idea for a video what if the Jedi never ordered the clones
The thing is, when we saw Ach To in the Last Jedi, there was only 1 shadow. Same way in A New Hope but back then there was no way to create a second shadow.
I walked out of the theatre
RIP Master Skywalker 💚
master skywalker, there are too many of them what should we do?
Take a seat
Felgrand Warrior Forever iconic lolol
he will probably come back as a force ghost
In Legends they just kill Luke without no explanation, but to make him into a Force Ghost. I was hoping that they would explain and give him a proper farewell but they never did...
The Last Jedi gave me that proper closure to my first hero that Legends never did.
In the last Jedi, Whenever Rey said master skywalker I always thought of that one youngling
Plot twist, Star Wars theory is the supreme supreme leader
Severus Snape what page do I turn to?
Caleb Ok turn to page three hundred and ninety four
Star Wars Theory would make a MUCH better plot for TLJ than Di$ney ever could
It’s too bad he’s gone but I think it was awesome the way he died. It’s almost like now the suns has lost one of its twins because Luke died. Luke and Leia are twins so it I think symbolizes how fire can go out so the resistance’s can continue. Oh ya by the way I want yoda’s lightsaber in the giveaway this month.
Mhm
I definitely did not like the way Luke died but I have to admit seeing Luke and the twin suns hit me hard.
If Force Ghosts can now interact with the real world, then what's to stop Luke from fighting Kylo again in bladed combat, but this time Luke is Immortal?!
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Force ghosts can only interact with the enviorement when they are in a place where the force is really strong
I'd like to get the Skywalker lightsaber, because iT'S PRECIOUS
EDIT: You know You're gonna wiN THE PRECIOUS when SW theory gives You a heart.
AgentKE which skywalker?lol
Harbinger You know. ;)
AgentKE oh of course xD
Harbinger ;)))))))))))))))))
Chandler Kristoff Another pocket.
I did wonder. Mystery solved : )
Sleep well, Luke. Gather your strength. For when the Jedi returns...
Instead of Luke dying I wish at the end he had his hand raised over the edge raising his x-wing
That would be so much better... I meam what does he do ? Taunting his mislead nephew a last Time and then he dies... This is not the Luke I know.
👍👑 So Luke stared off into the double sunset... then died, and disappeard... he was a vampire, I knew it!!
I am groot
When they say you can't take it with you, this does not apply to Luke because he took his mechanical hand with him. Not his clothes though, which makes you wonder about the REAL nature of Luke Skywalker... ;-) =)
RealRuler2112 he was a kinky mechanical nudist
C Groot there can only be one groot. Don’t make me use the force 🔫
*i am groot*
LMAO I died laughing

May the force be with you STW. Forever grateful for this amazing channel.
“It’s time to let old things die... the originals, the prequels... legends, canon, The Skywalkers. Let it all die.” That’s pretty much what Kylo said in my opinion.
Elemental Jedi Felt the same way too. This line low-key taking shots at George Lucas and his Star wars universe.
I doubt it was a shot at the originals, or the prequels, the films are full of references to them. And it’s not a shot at George Lucas, he’s still the first person they credit at the end of each film, plus there’s evidence the sequel movies are at least partially based on his drafts. If anything, it could be a shot at some of those Legends purists, that bandwagon against everything Disney, despite never actually giving them a chance, purely out of salt for the EU retcon.
This comment deserves to get pin , yup man that's what he REALLY said 😓
Yeah they made all those references, yet they made everything that happened in those films irrelevant.
"Im just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe" i'd love that lightsaber.
Luke Skywalker is the best character in Star Wars History ❤️
At least in legends he is.
iHmo0diX1 maybe for you, Anakin is for me my favorite jedi
Kasus Belly
It's for me , i don't know what about the others
iHmo0diX1 its treason then
I HAVE TO RETURN SOME VIDEO TAPES! I was right, the jedi are taking over!
Honestally Anakin's lightsaber would be awesome to get. The saber has so much history, Rey, Luke, Obi-Wan, and even Maaz all held the lightsaber. It is so iconic and is my childhood.
May the force be with you, always.
I would love obi-wans blue saber from Revenge of the Sith! Loving the awesome content man!
Also known as the HIGH GROUND saber
I think the twin suns was a great addition to the Last Jedi. It’s just shows how far Luke has come, from a farm boy to a Jedi Master. The beautiful imagery truly showed that the whole story does come around. Thanks for providing these great theories/explainations!!!
That ending hit me hard in the feels. Like damn.
I asked Pablo Hildalgo to clarify this on Twitter a few days ago. He confirmed that there were binary suns and that it was not a mirage, as you stated. He notoriously deletes his tweets regularly, but I have a screen shot of it if you'd like it.
The scene was well done. Making luke a useless winging mope when not just at the end of New Hope but also Battlefront 2 he was hopeful, optimistic, trying to constantly draw the good out in people and find creative solutions to problems.
That said Luke's force projection WOULD explain the wild stories of luke flying from star destroyer to star destroyer.
Reading Hammil's twitteris just.. .sad. He's a man that hates how the character that gave him his chance to be more than just a random shmoe is being treated, but at the same time classy enough to not pick a fight about it.
Andrew Singleton
Actually hamil has constantly been misquoted. He always says. That he didn't understand where they where going but when it came together he saw it. That's the general idea of most of his tweets on the matter. He understands there is nowhere interesting for Luke to go. Its either godlike one dimensional gary stu that kills snoke with a blink or an actually interesting evolution.
Yeah, I love what they did with Luke. It certainly makes the story more interesting and when Luke comes back around it's great. But, people complain. yay.
I looooooooved that scene so much. I almost cried at how beautiful it was. The callback to the twin suns on Tatooine was immediately apparent to me. I'm surprised anyone thought it would be imagined though. The thought never crossed my mind, and it doesn't strike me as something fitting Star Wars as a whole.
Respect for Jocasta ahahahahahahah hope she will be present in the future comic, in some flashback, only to hear her voice ;)
I felt Luke's final sunset watch was very poetic. I know he'll probably be a ghost, but for me, it feels like his life, his journey in this world had come full circle.
It's like poetry. It rhymes
What an amazing, meaningful send off for Luke. His character can’t continue in the movies forever, they had to let him pass somehow and this was such a poetic, beautiful, mature end for my childhood hero. His redemption was real for all of us who have faced ups and downs in life. I think younger audiences, or people fixated on seeing lightsaber fights were disappointed, and while it would have been cool to see Luke in some neat fight sequences, this was much better and much more emotionally impactful. I wouldn’t have thought to do it this way, but his arc was genius and I love this movie for it.
The scene was beatifull but new hope scene was better
lifan 98 yea the one in new hope was way better
lifan 98 naw not really didn't really mean anything then and if it did then it just wasn't portrayed because of the horrible acting. I love star wars but let's admit the originals were far from perfect. Luke had the same reaction to seeing his family killed that I do when my dogs get in the trash
MemesMojo you can't beat the original
DeShawn McDonald Agreed. People seem to be letting nostalgia get to them when it comes to the original trilogy.
DeShawn McDonald Same to Leia’s reaction to Alderaan. If I was her I would just lay down and cry.
Obi wan’s saber is calling me saying, “find me...get the high ground...”
*sees the title from notification*
OHMYGOD
*15 seconds later* *gets tissues* *lays back*
OKAY NOW I'M READY TO CR-- I MEAN, WATCH!
Young Skywalker same
Personally I think The Last Jedi is a masterpiece, it has such a clever method of hiding secrets, symbolism, etc. It doesn't deserve the hate it's been getting. Glad I found your channel, you cover these things well.
*High ground!!!*
The ending was poetic.
It began as his journey began, but only once his life on Tatooine ended; His journey into the living force is about to begin, but only once he leaves the physical realm. It was a moment of misty eyes for me in the theater, immediately remembering his view into his "homeworld's" horizon...It was shocking seeing his story seem to come full circle (and like any circle, begin to cycle), but calming in its delivery.
As a serious point, I've thought of how I would wish to be buried were I Mark Hamill.
Top of a hill overlooking a lake; a funeral where my cremated remains are buried unwrapped with a Jedi cloak, and paired with the green lightsaber; timed, when the funeral reaches near dusk (all coordinated with local sunsets), a string quartet would play his slow, melancholy theme with a slow drop in volume half way through as the onyx colored casket is lowered, revealing a white painted, engraved Jedi Order symbol fading into the earthly shadows; as the casket hits bottom, those present would look to the sunset as the quartet restarted the theme to completion.
^^^ This took me all of 10 minutes of original thought. Say what you will, the scene was majestic, and the moment was evanescent.
Which Jedi should Vader fight next in his comic guys?
That scene brought a tear to my eye because it truly conveyed Luke being at peace, it made me feel it even before Rey said that later.
We will maybe get Anakin as a next season hero on battlefront 2, and more clonewars content!!!
lifan 98 I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be obi wan and general grievous
lifan 98 when's season 2 coming out
Chris Montgomery probably in March or When the solo movie comes out
Meulen the multiplayer isn't canon why does it matter. U have Darth maul going up against rey thats like a 70 year difference
Meulen DICE said that the inclusion of one hero does not exclude another.
I found it very poetic! That we started his journey with the setting of the twin suns and we ended his journey the same. I found it beautiful!
I didn't like the fact he did die as I would of liked to see Luke train Rey to become a Jedi rather than just teaching her the ways of the force. However since he can know be one with the force and can be alot more powerful than he was it may be the right thing to do but we'll have to wait to see why in episode 9. Great video as always I would love Darth Vader's lightsaber please.
Ross G-C Dude... Do you remember the force ghosts? Luke can teach her the ways of the force even if he’s dead.
Etneciv Lego yes I know I said he is one with the force. But it would have been good to see Luke teach her to be a Jedi as a Jedi master rather than a ghost
I have found comfort in the concept of his trancendence to become "more powerful than we can possibly imagine." :) This way, he lives on 'n' such. :)
I hated that scene in the movie. I thought Luke should have never died . . . At least not that way. We didn’t get to see Luke’s full power! I waited forever to see Luke comeback and be one of the most powerful Jedi ever. Although that force projection was cool . . . It just wasn’t what I expected nor what I wanted. I would of rather if we saw him actually FIGHT with a lightsaber and if he saw all his amazing abilities with the force. I did like the twin sun scene because it reminded me of a new hope. I wasn’t excited for the next movie but thank to your vids I’m now getting excited for episode 9. If the lightsaber giveaway is going on I would love Luke’s green lightsaber please and thanks.
The Jedi And the sith, I totally agree Luke’s death really pissed me off too
Kylo said earlier that galactic communication through the force could kill most users. Through his rage he was blinded by Luke doing just that also interacting with physical beings should point out how strong he was and by being defensive not going straight for the attack he condoned himself like a proper Jedi. In the end, I felt that his final act, something he thought silly in the beginning was something that was earned. He made peace, yes his physical form died, but not his form with the force. He went out just like Obi-Wan and Yoda.
A. T. Smith Could it be that Obi Wan did the same projection with the Force against Darth Vader? My wife just pointed it out to me.
Great ending to the greatest Star Wars film post Episode VI. Lots of whining from a large section of the fanbase who wanted more of unoriginal-safe "Force Awakens" style, but plenty of impressed critics and a few non-professional viewers like myself. So great to see moral complexities addressed in the film, making the characters more relatable and fleshed-out. It was particularly wonderful to see an embittered Luke destroying Rey's naive notions of the Jedi order. Seeing him condemn the Jedi Order and its failings was such a pertinent moment. Life isn't black and white as there are many grey areas, and people whom you think are good can have a dark history while those who are evil are not devoid of innocence and beyond redemption. Also, that Yoda appearance was surprisingly well-written - a great lesson on the virtue of failure.
The twin suns floating in the sky, as Luke faded away like his master once did - that was such a poignant and poetic death.

Without watching, yes he did. It was clear during my single theatre visit. It's one sun before he passes through the frame. Then from his perspective, you see the twin suns. Then only one as he fades away.
No one else apparently caught it because Collider, IGN, Nerdist, and New Rockstars all explained that Ahch-to has a twin sun.
We want Darth Maul!!
You alredy got it in books, episode 1 and the animated series of the clone wars and rebels.. '-'
My friend you are almost at 1 million!!!!! I am so happy for you. Loved this channel already a while ago. Hoped for it to prosper
I loved the scene when he saw the two suns, and I immediately knew what time it was, even though I really didn’t want to see it. While I did want to see my childhood hero Luke have one massive fight with Kylo on Crait, as such a big Star Wars fan, I’m not sad on how Luke died. I really liked the video and I don’t know if the lightsaber giveaway thing is still going on, but I might as well enter with me picking my hero’s lightsaber, lukes.
Disney Wars is garbage. Horrid writing, wrapped up in a nice Star Wars bow. We got robbed of seeing Luke one more time be a bad ass. Instead we got a Force Skype call. I do not care that he died, I care that he died being a piece of garbage that allowed billions of beings to suffer and die. Luke = Worst Jedi
Starwars is Dead lol, I like force Skype call. I do agree his power was never shown, and all the jokes in the movie began to piss me off, but I’m hopeful that episode 9 will show some of his extensive powers. If they don’t, then I’m definitely not going to be happy.
Starwars is Dead if I didn’t like Luke so much before and I only knew episodes 7 and 8, I would have called Luke a bitch for just leaving. I can’t though because I know how amazing Luke was and how he was supposed to be portrayed
I loved (past-tense) Luke Skywalker. 8 made me hate him, Yoda and every other Jedi (live or ghost) that allowed such evil to get loose in the Galaxy. Rian Wars says that ghosts can now call lighting, and use sticks to hit people with. How then could evil ever rise up in power since Jedi ghosts could just haunt them and kill them? Yoda and the others allowed this, which by extension makes them evil/Sith? Billions have died due to Luke's inaction as well as all the ghosts who also ignored the re-destruction of the Republic. Cannon is so broken now...
I had immediately thought of the twin suns from A New Hope. I felt it was a slightly comforting way to confront his physical death to him and to the viewer.
Fan fiction about reys days before the force awakens??
Eetu T you basically saw them during Force Awakens
Eetu T No one cares
"how" Luke passed was incredibly beautiful and fitting, if only this was the ending of episode 9 and we would have gotten to see Lukes growth as a force user to actually match up to GrandMaster Yoda
I hated what Disney did with Luke and as far as I’m concerned Luke and the rest of the rebellion are still partying back on Endor and I would like Obiwan’s light saber I need the saber that helped take the high ground
Well I think he should have lived for episode 9 but to be fair his send off was nice I just hate how they made him so bland and not like the Luke for the original trilogy like how he didn’t believe in the Jedi and how he wouldn’t kill his farther who was fully turned to the dark side but would kill his nephew when he was being persuaded to turn by snoke the Luke in TLJ just doesn’t fell like the Luke I know from the originas
ObiwanMchighground Force ghost Luke for ep 9 though?
Maybe
I don't know why so many don't understand Luke. After all what happend it was just human what he did and what he became.
Yea
Yes. It was a flashback of sorts. Its sole purpose was to instill nostalgia in viewers and a feeling of Luke coming full circle.
Hello there
You wanna buy some death sticks?
You don’t want to sell me death sticks.
I don’t wanna sell you death sticks.
You want to go home and rethink your life.
I wanna go home and rethink my life.
1. Alec Guinness was brought to Star Wars by George telling him that Kenobi was a similar character to Gandalf.
2. George asked Mark in the 80s if he'd be willing to potentially come back sometime in a couple decades to play a more Kenobi like version of Luke.
3. Mark did the Kenobi version. Now it's time to do the Gandalf version of Luke. Episode IX: Resurrection with Luke the White
The Force Awakens The Last Jedi Resurrection
Skywalker lightsaber, please! :)
I love you soo much
Powerful scene and seemed to signify not only that was Luke was "home" in a sense but also a play off the last time we saw those twin suns and that with the resistance escaping there is "A New Hope"
I think the two suns represent his father and him. Or the rule of 2 jedi and Sith.
Luke was seeing what was there obviously with his eyes, but what he was 'seeing' with his heart was his home world & remembering where it all began. I was majorly disappointed when he died as i felt his character could have given so much more, but the scene itself was a good one. I just wished they could have made him less depressed - I get that stuff happened but he was meant to be a Jedi & not 'focus on the negative'.
Thank and RIP Luke Skywalker
Ahch-To, a world of salt spray, cold winds, violent storms...

The Twin Suns...

that make me fall in tears in the two times i See the movie...

I hated how Luke died, totally hated that ending to the core!!!
Kelly Espinosa Curiel yeah i know, you worthless thing can only hate
Rekt
Kelly Espinosa Curiel why did you hate it
Kelly Espinosa Curiel
Are you serious? What was so bad about it? You fucking dumbasses cannot understand the phenomenal layering of it. You probably didn't even realise it was twin suns. You didnt realise what rian was saying. Luke, Jedi knight. Legend. That part of Luke's story began on tatioone. Before twin suns. The choice.
Now the legacy of Luke skywalker must die. He has reignited the spark and completed his journey and once more he stands proud before two suns as they set he knows his story has also come to a close. Its so fucking beautiful and genuinely made. I love it. I know you idiots probably wanted him to die in a blaze of glory. To go out swinging seventeen lightsabers. Decapitating ren and saving leia by levitating her to another planet while he stabs snoke in the chest or some shit.
But you have no idea what poetry means. What storytelling is. Dragging out luke just so he can be in episode 9. Alive. Its fan service to the extreme and overdoing it. His story is complete deal with it its beautiful. By having him die before the two suns we see that Luke has reached the end. There is nowhere else to go. Rey can defeat Ren. But he has started her on her way and he has reignited hope. He has served to his end. And gone out with "peace and purpose" the jedi way. Not stabbed in battle. Not killed in a moment of rage during a violent clash. No. That is not the way of the light. It is a path to peace. And Luke has reached that.
His next journey is one into the force. Rian himself said that's the most interesting thing we can do with him now. Look at it from a writing perspective. Luke cant do anything else but be a godlike and hence completely uninteresting and one dimensional good guy god. Rian also said that we can now look into the force and the ghosts. Yoda showed that they can influence the physical world so JJ can have some fun.
Ending wasn't that bad. I thought Luke's ending was phenomenal. Everything else on the other hand was Mediocre. Especially how pathetic villians are in this new Trilogy.
Luke's death is best thought of as a commencement. Like a graduation, it was at the same time the end of one life and the beginning of another.
Who knows. The editing was pretty poor. I swear the clouds drastically changed in shots that were back to back.
In-Bed Gamer
Lol seriously? You're the only person who has ever said that so far as I'm concerned. Such minro things (even if they where there) would not detract from the scene in any way. If we where so critical about the OT it would be obliterated my minor quirks and nitpicks
In-Bed Gamer ok that's just nitpicking just stop
This is BAIT
If only retarded green frogs had any credibility.
Well remember how his journey started up on seeing the twin suns the same way he knew that his journey into a much bigger world has become. He knew that if he had to start his journey he would have to renounce the mortal relm. The scene with Yoda makes sense. He says faliure is the biggest lesson and how he failed anikin and the younglings in corosunt. But that lesson thought him to be a better teacher to luke. The same way luke failed kylo but that faliure will make him a better teacher to rey. That scene was exceptionally important to point out luke common you've made mistakes accept it and let's kick some first order asses.
Mesa ruin the prequels
Anyone else but me think that, as kind of a way to show his joy and serenity, it would have been fitting if he laughed in joy as he became one with the force?
I think he saw the twin suns because he was becoming one with the force. His story began (almost) with a view like that, and it ends with a similar sight. So it's a fitting "ending" image of his story. It was in his heart. But I think we all would love to see more of him, before he became this hiding hermit character.
Luke’s green lightsaber would be a FINE addition to my collection
I like how they said that Ahch-To was "Known by many names in ancient legends"... In my mind, it's a call back to the original birthplace of the Jedi, being Tython. Maybe one of Ahch-To's many names used to be Tython? I hope so.
They handled Luke's death in the best way they could have, in my opinion. It was one of my favorite scenes in the movie.
I think We'll see more of Luke (as a Force ghost) in EP 9, as he said to Kylo: "If you strike me down in anger, I will stay with you, just like your father" and "See you around kid". So that might mean, Luke's ghost shall show up to harass and torment Kylo.
Loved the scene. As for the suns, had figured Luke just projected himself to Tatooine for a bit. Just to see home, 'one last time.'
Luke's death was poetic it made me feel bitter sweet like i understood it was the end but that we had a lifetime of adventure together
I believe he did imagined the Twin Suns, because he had that look, just like in new hope.He wanted to remember home, uncle Owen and aunt Berru, and meeting Obi-Wan (Ben Kenobi) and he cried, because he betrayed Ben,was responsible for killing Han,but still, his new apprentice,Rey,turned Ben to kill Snoke
I wanna touch on what Snoke says write before he dies. He says that he "cannot be betrayed," that he can see Kylo's thoughts and it sounds like Snoke knows that Ben is using the Force to spin the lightsaber. My theory is this: maybe Snoke wanted be killed to trick Ben and Rey only to return more powerful in ep.9 and probably get killed again.
It also reminded me when aunt Beru and Uncle Owen looked out to the horizon in Tatooine with baby Luke in their arms, sort of like a birth to his unknown journey.
Also, I payed close attention to Yoda when I rewatched the film, he does have the blue hue the entire time. Just in some shots the blue is over taken by the light of the fire :) it's definitely not like the prior depictions of force ghosts where they are transparent, but he does have the glow the entire time, even if it doesn't look like it at first glace
I think it was a little homage to episode 4 and Yoda saying to him twice now. Always looking at the horizon. He started his journey looking at the horizon and now he ending it looking at the horizon. Fitting
Honestly, considering how Yoda WILLINGLY entered the force, it's not a hard stretch to theorize he can physically materialize himself... for a few moments at any rate. If he's physically there, then it's by Yoda's will that he's physically there, because he wanted to be there for Luke, to remind him that the force is still greater than even wisest Master.
And the Lightning was Natural, so it wasn't a Dark Side Force Power, but an extension of a Force User's will in this scenario. To burn what restricts someone's understanding to certain phrases and texts of those of a different time and galaxy.
This is one of the most powerful scenes when it comes to Force Knowledge, and Jedi Knowledge as well.
Star Wars Theory - can i please get Rey's / Luke's Blue lightsber?-i Don't NEED HIGH GROUND when the FORCE is with me -OH AND
LET THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I want obi-wan’s lightsaber,
And so do you.
THAT SCENE WAS SO CINEMATICALLY BEAUTIFUL...
When Luke sees the twin suns, on Ahch-To, the meaning is that consequence is the reward of self-awareness. When self-awareness gives a reward, the reward that's given comes in the form of a penalty. This makes the concept of consequence into something which can only be transported as long as there's an intended recipient. Since self-awareness is the giver, the recipient has no choice but to be dead. The consequence is therefore something which is being given to the inability to receive.
Consequence is given to the inability to receive, which makes the self-awareness that gives the consequence the prevention of the inability to receive.
So in short: self-awareness means the ability to stop the inability to receive. The definition of any human being is the ability to prevent the inability to communicate
It's been a while since you've done a fan fiction, so here's an idea I've been looking to pitch:
What if Kylo Ren died on Starkiller base?
Now there's a few ways we can do this. The first is if Chewie shot Kylo in the head or stomach instead of the side. In that scenario, Rey never discovers her powers to the same extent as she did in canon. Finn would also be spared from his coma.
The other alternative is that Kylo is finished off by Rey or falls into a crevice during their duel.
Damn, when that scene came on, my smile from the sequence before just faded(in a good way). I always hoped Luke would go out this way and not on a battlefield because to me he was always a pure soul, always following his heart.
What I really want is for if Rey is going up against Kylo to defeat him for Luke, Yoda, Anakin, Qui-Gon (if possible), And Obi-Wan to all appear as force ghosts in episode 9
I personally think that Luke seeing the binary sunset before dying was the will of the force. The force made him come to the full. This is analogous to Anakin Skywalker coming back to his original self in The Return of The Jedi. The force is a mysterious energy and is more powerful than we think it is.
I’m saddened to see Luke go, though he may appear in episode 9. Thankfully he passed on peacefully, and is still with the force.
I would love Yoda's because it shows that it was really his craft just simply because of how skillfull he was with it as well as its short hilt.
Unless something happens in episode 9 to highlight and truly show Luke's path and attainment of Force knowledge... it will be the most anticlimactic end ever to such a hero.
Lol "I cringed everytime I had to do that voice." We appreciate your sacrifice for the sake of the videos haha
Luke's saber would be amazing! I'd love to win it
I did like how the last thing he saw was the twin suns, that is iconic with Luke.
Obi-Wan's sabre would be great to have. Its an elegant weapon, from a more civilized age. Also because it was the blade that broke Vader's spirit and body, making him the character we all know.
He teleported to Tatooine for some unfinished business. He's still alive. Even Rian Johnson confirmed this in an interview.
Anakin's blue lightsaber would be a nice addition to my collection
Yoda even said in the last jedi "ah young skywalker always looking into the horizon you are"
I didn't want luke to pull an obi-wan but I kind of expected it when he was facing kylo. I do agree and hope that its just the beginning for luke to truly show his powers.
I think Luke will show up in the next movie because he said "See you around kid." to Kylo before the illusion faded. Maybe he will haunt Kylo like he did Cade in the legends legacy comics.
All his life he has looked away, to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. What he was doing.
