As a proud owner of a Lihit Lab frog pen case I will explain my reasoning I do love the delightful shape of the "ear" tabs. But that particular frog shape in general has a lot of appeal. The particular shade of green is also much more appealing than the Budgie case I think. I saw the image, my brain screamed "fwog!" and I knew I had to have it. It is fwog! He is very good, and carries my pencils!
The moment I saw the frog, I said "kuro kuro!", which I believe is how Japan does the "ribbit ribbit!" sound we attibute to frogs 😊 It was the one that stood out to me as well.
The Midori eraser dust cleaner didn't seem like something I needed at first glance, but it has been a game changer. I get bored easily so move around to different spots to get work done, and this baby plus an origami trash bin keeps any space nice and tidy.
Thank you so much for including school supplies for lefties! Most people are not that considerate and open-minded in the struggles lefties have with school supplies. This is so helpful and I am definitely going to look into them!
I just love those little eraser dust cleaners! They are so adorable! And the colored leads for mechanical pencils are very popular with woodworkers too...when you make a pencil mark on some darker colored woods with a regular pencil, you can't see the mark well. Also, having different colors you can use them to mark different instructions: one color for cut lines, one color for where fasteners will attach, etc...
The Kutsuwa HiLiNE Highlighter Pencils are beloved highlighters for books with very thin paper like bibles. My college carried these pencils and had a sign above them "PERFECT FOR HIGHLIGHTING BIBLE THIN PAGES!" :)
Many years ago I used many Jumbo neon colour pencil from Steadler from Germany and they are great for highlighting and somehow they stopped making them, glad I know I can now use Kutsuwa HiLiNe.
I’ve been watching these videos in your channel for so long, but I’ve always told myself that I didn’t need anything… until this video. I bought several things including the adorable frog pencil case and I can’t wait until they arrive!
I get pumped when jen posts sneaks of the new videos. I always try hard to guess what the videos about but I could have never guessed this one by seeing a picture
Ooooh these are so creative! I love videos like these cuz it introduces us to so many creative stationery products and outlines what makes them so cool. I would have never guessed at some of these functions if I was just regularly browsing the site.
Would you be able to do a comparison video with colored mechanical lead? I know there’s a guide on jetpens, but a video would be nice, I can never decide which one to try
4:58 WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT i have a blank jounral I love but all my writing is crooked, I 3dprinted a ruling tool that helps me rule the pages with a pen but it doesn't look as pretty and making a dot grid also takes ages as there's so many manual holes, I even didn't rule the pages on the other side of the paper as the shadow let me know where to write, but I never thought about making something I can put under my paper like the grid writing board

I got to buy some Midori Memo pads to try out. I even liked the pegged one at the very start of the vid, may try to find it too! There's 1 thing on your list that I did buy in the past, long ago when I 1st started ordering from you. The folding scissors with the pull-out finger grips. The very 1st time I used them the finger grips broke away from the scissor rendering them useless. I reported it to you and as always, you made sure the customer was happy, if not with the purchased item, then refunding me. Instead of getting another of those scissors I asked for and received the Sun-Star Stickyle scissors. I liked them better. Thank you for always going out I'd your way to help a customer with her returns. I've been a loyal customer ever sense. I made 3 orders with you last month and will make another 2-3 orders, at least this month!
I got some of those Raymay scissors. They're just fantastic. Have them in a tech pouch with pens and cables. They're so easy to transport in that form factor and cut well too.
What Midori notepad is being shown at 3:37? The one with the pegs on it, that the person writing crinkle up the paper to toss out. I'm very interested in buying a similar notepad if it's available through you. Thanks.
Speaking of things that don’t seem awesome, but are surprisingly pleasing: the narrator’s lisp. It is kind of cute and adds a little more texture to her pronunciation.
Shitajiki convert here. I have found many uses for them. I insert then into notebooks to protect the valuable Tomoe River or similar expensive papers. I sometimes attach a pen loop and it's a simple way to carry a pen wirh a notebook which doesn't come with a loop or that you do not want to permanently one to.
I ordered some of those stealth scissors for my work and home sewing kits. They look great. I hope I love them. Also, not on that list were refill erasers for my retractable mono one little travel erasers. I was happy to find those as well.
I'm sure to buy the Lihit lab frog case which is really cute And also the Raymay pencut premium scissors which is really easy carry in my pencil case Thank you Jetpens for sharing this awesome stationery :) They are really awesome

They should look at highlighter crayons/gel sticks.
are the pencils erasable?
