That chainsaw is something else.... An electric chainsaw that competes with gas is something i never thought id see.
Electric motors have been capable of tremendous power for a very long time.
Some Tesla cars have well over 1,000 ft. Lbs of torque which is significantly more power than diesel motors in dually 3500's & the like.
Batteries have always been the bottleneck.
Milwaukee needs to make a tesla style motor and stick it on a saw
I wonder if it’d mill the same as a 70cc saw😅
I have the new 18 inch fan and I'm very satisfied it's a beast but this new packout fan has been over due for about 4 years now. I always wonder why can't a light be on the fan incase you're in a dark area. It doesn't hurt to have it. If you don't wanna use it then don't. Or a usb A port to charge your phone
The battery would die much faster I imagine
@EPSKRCMPK true but you wont always be using the light and we should always have extra batteries
@@weldonpinder7295 also true

So the new stud tape measure only change is the high visible blade.
Wish they'd make an AC adapter for M18 so you could have the option of plugging in your tools instead of opening them on batteries. But they wont do that, cause it would lose them battery sales.
I been wanting an ac adaptor for my Milwaukee air compressor.
An AC adapter would really help future-proof a lot of their tools. But they want you to buy their new tools in 5 years.
13:40 that big fan is out now
Can confirm I bought one last week and trust when you at a jobsite with no ac I popped a 8.0 an it was a god send when your not close to a spider box
he said available February 2024
Milwaukee M18 Forge 12ah is $250.00. Milwaukee is positioning themselves as commercial only, unless you're a wealthy homeowner.
Are you carzy no home owner needs a 12ah battery and plus there it the same price as there high output
Yea thats the same price as their 12.0 hi output. Been that way for a while now. I have one as a homeowner and the only practical use i have for it is the blower. That thing drains batteries.
They were never intended to be homeowner tools.
From their inception they've been heavy duty pro grade tools.
They have some entry level stuff, that's more appropriate for homeowner needs/budgets.
TTI also owns Rigid & Ryobi which are both likely better options for homeowners.
I have the power head roto tiller, weed eater, rubber brush, compressor, router, plus all their common tools. All I use is 8 amp and 12 amp batteries. I'm regular homeowner. Big batteries are nice dude. They last
@@dale4525 I never said homeowners do not own on 12th amp hour batteries just saying most people don't need it you have a expensive machine that most people just go and rent and use one time
Ive got the 18" m18 fan and its great, but the speed dial knob completley stripped itself out and i had to replace the whole fan after a month of owning it. Never got banged up or anything, was kind of a shame
Did they fix the battery problem for the Quik-lok power head ? Love mine but after sending it out for warranty and the 8.0 battery it came with makes me really not want to work it hard.
When will the new m12 heated gear and power source are coming out 15:41
My question is price if batteries, for example, if an 8.o forge battery give the same performance as a 12.o high output battery, what's the price difference?
The 8.0 is 1.99 same as the 6.0 some reason and the 12 will be 2.49 same as the high output but they will probably drop 50
No coverage of the m12 rotary hammer drill
great, super new and powerful batteries, how about make the batteries cheaper!?!
I really wish M18 fans had a magnetic base
So what now ? Are Pouch or Tabless cells in the Forge battery ?
TABLESS in the 8 and 12 amp FORGE BATTERIES
@@THEBEARDEDTOOLGUYok thank you 👍
This is ridiculous that milwaukee hasn't released a new 3/4" drive impact wrench. They could just change the anvil of the 2967 and it would be an upgrade over their existing offering
How do I attend Milwaukee pipeline?
You don't.....industry people and influencers are the main ones that go.....

Are you ever making a microwave?
I don't want bigger forge batteries... I want a 1.7 ah powerstack competitor! Come on milwaukee! until I see something like that I think I'll stick to my yellow tools.
If you want to Stick with garbage then it's your choice they don't need to do anything you just need to be better
