We have the very same flooring in our kitchen diner and have noticed for some reason the joints here and there have begun to open up slightly we assume its heat and cold temperatures, over the last couple of years,We all have our own tastes but I could never have painted that stunning wood staircase, great job
Love your staircase! I see what paint you used, but can you please tell me if you used gloss or eggshell, which one in the black paint you used for your for your banister.

I have noticed the same Peter. On reflection I think I would have got for a tiled flooring but hey ho it’s done now

Hi lovely, we defo didn’t use the Gloss finish so I’m sure it was eggshell xx

Looks good but I prefer the wooden rail... black stairs, not great for me... so this didn't inspire me! Good for others though
