- The bearded bro’s installed a Mountune MRX Intercooler on Kyle’s car a few months back. While we were at it, we cut out the lower grill to get a clear view of the Intercooler. Here is some pics and video of our journey!

This might be a dumb question but is this CARB legal to install and drive in California?
I am not sure on that one. Visit Mountune’s website and check. I would like to think it is fine, as their USA headquarters is in California and they also perform installs there.

What’s the height and width of these intercoolers?
I have the same focus st as you got mountune intercooler but I can't find any info how place the brackets on the car
Yea it was terrible information for mounting. I can’t remember how it goes. It took a while of playing with it to make it work
From what i saw on the previous video JR the rubber bushings go in between the radiator and intercooler brackets to allow you to line up your charge pipes easier and so the metal dont rub.
Does it plug n play with the stock charge pipes?

Would a how-to have killed you? I got mine on last year using the only other install video on youtube about the MRX on a facelift (which is terrible) and it was a pain in the ass. You had your chance and you ran right past it. Also pretty strange that yours doesn't have the air guides. You sure that's an MRX?
Hey bud, while we would love to video a step by step guide, that really isn’t our goal for the channel. Honestly, we were in the same boat as you. We had the same struggles as you, and we mention later on that we had to find the correct mounting info from a comment on what was probably the same terrible UA-cam video as you. Not sure of the changes to the intercooler, but you may have an older model intercooler if yours is different. This is the newest one. While the work that we do is top notch, we are not mechanics by any stretch of the imagination. We are some bearded bro’s that enjoy modding our cars. If you want instructional videos, look elsewhere. We just provide the content that we can get, as we are basically winging it.
