This is addictive! My box of pads came Monday night. My fiesta pad became 32 cards. Joann's had a free shipping day yesterday. I ordered another 3 pads. I happy to now have a good selection of all occasion cards. Part of these will be gifted. Thank you so much for teaching this! Your way of cutting is MUCH easier than basing it on sketches!
Thanks for doing this for the children that are in hospitals and showing them that there is a lot of sunshine and love out in the world! Hugs and Happiness, Briana C.
Jess, I love your plethora of ideas and information on your 6 X 6 pad cards for these kids. Wow, I could watch you do one after another. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you will continue. Brenda West
Love how you make all these cards. I bought a pad and tried to make cards, and I got overwhelmed. So Kudos to you, you do an amazing job, and maybe one day I will be successful.
Love your thought process and your methodical "assembly line" fashion!! Yes, so many of us don't want to cut into our precious paper and then we have tons lying around!!
I love rainbows ♡ These are my favorite sets of cards you made for kids bcs of the paper pad theme and colours ^_^ Thank you for making these videos, I love watching them!
Your cards are simply awesome. It amazes me how you can just pop them out. I pick up 6x6 pads all the time, this will help me put them to good use. Thank you for the inspiration.
I've been waiting for the fairy tales video. Awesome job as usual. I still love fairy tales characters. They're just so darn cute. Tfs sweetie. The children that receive these cards will be pleased. Hugs-Kristina🤗
Hey Jess! I think using ribbon is just fine. Its cheap & easy to pick up. It adds so very much and is just adorable! Ribbon on my new friend!! These cards are just precious! This paper pack is next on my list, how fun!
I love your videos and what an awesome thing you do with donating your cards! I'm sure there are many kids with smiles on their faces because of you! I have been buying up many 6x6 pads to build up my stash of cards...it's so nice to just go grab a card when I need one rather than spending a few hours making one every time I need one! Thanks for all the inspiration that you provide!
Always enjoy your, cards, sweetie! This paper pad melts my heart. I am going to use some of your inspiration on a mini album for my little 'princess' that's 27!
I am always looking for an idea of how to make "kits" for myself to use up paper and stickers (etc) to make large sets of cards for family and friends. Many great ideas in this video...Thank you so much for sharing.
Love the tip about not getting bogged down in being afraid to use a paper because you might want it later. That's my big fear. I need to remember it's a PAD, a whole collection of papers DESIGNED to all work together. The designer has done the hard work for me and I need to just dive in and move on, as you said.
Doodlebug paper pads are my very favorite & always have been. I have even bought the same ones twice, accidentally. Still l can always use them. I tend to hoard them. He he. Hugs...
This is such a cute paper pad. I have a couple of new Doodlebug paper pads and I've been inspired by your videos. I've had a lot of fun making cards. Thanks!
Hooray!! I'm so glad you made a video with the Fairytales paper pad. I have been holding onto mine hoping you would make one to inspire me. 😊. Love your cards and ideas. Thanks.
Hi Jess, I finally attempted your approach to a 6X6 paper pad and I am totally addicted to the process. I think it is the most fun I have had in card making in a while. Thanks for sharing with us all.
Hey Jess! I truly enjoy watching your videos. You are an inspiration 😀. I want to buy just about every paper pad you've featured 😂. I look forward to more videos. TFS
P.S. I'm a pediatric home health nurse and I want to say "thank you" for being conscientious and thinking about possible choking hazards! Little kids are very curious and we never know what they may do!!??
Little tip- I use a little piece of scotch tape across the back side where the ribbon ends. It lets my tape runner glide right over it and helps it stay put.
I am more drawn to Kaisercraft than Doodlebug. The 6.5x6.5 paper pad that I did with your techniques was addictive. The 28 cards, in addition to the 1 or 2 already sent made me feel good. I also REALLY LOVED some of the sentiments. I paused this video to buy 4 pads. I bought the same pad again. I haven't bought patterned paper in over 2 years. I suspect that I will get at least 90 cards from my nearly $28 investment, and that makes me feel good too. I LOVED what you said about not fretting over each card. Card making is much more fun when I relax and do it without an eye for perfection. Thank you for these videos! I look forward to your tips on using up 12x12 sheets too!
Love your videos. All of your cards are so cute. I like the card with the square turned then cut and you put the remainder on the top. I hope this makes sense. I don't even think it makes sense to me! LOL!!! I think it was the 3rd card, anyway you are awesome for what you do.
I like so many of them, I cannot pick just one favorite! Quite inspiring. I would like to make some generic kid cards and send them to where they are needed/wanted. Thank you for the ideas!
This is so good!!! I am pretty new at card making and get stumped so often. This is a wonderful way to just plunge in and use up a paper pack. Thank you, Thank you. I just randomly found this video. I am now a subscriber.
I love your videos! I tried the process last night with the My Mind'sEye paper pad--I'm mostly done, but need to stamp some sentiments and finish up the cards. I love that you are using more embellishments since I will use some of the cards for other purposes.
TYFS!!! such a wonderful idea! I am so inspired to use the 6x6 pads that I have acquired over the years. I liked the pads so much that I was inspired to buy them however they become so precious I'm afraid I'll mess them up! LOL Love your approach! Figures a first grade teacher simplifies this process with the greatest return!😉👏 Great job! I just subscribed 👍
Jess, you hit another home run with this video! LOVED the cards! I'm very glad you're adding embellishments from your stash, as you're right, we all have this, that, & the other thing... here, there, & everywhere! 😀. When sending cards to hospitalized kids, do you think using buttons would be OK if we *hot* glued them to the card? Sending you much love & appreciation. Mwah!! 😃💖
Thank you! Personally I'm going to avoid buttons. I'm even rethinking gems since a hospital website specifically said no sequins because they felt even those were a choking hazard. I don't think the glue will matter because it's attached to paper which will rip if they tug hard enough. It's a one in a million thing but I can understand why they'd want to avoid it. Thanks as always for watching and leaving some love!
this is a great idea! thank you so much for the card drive resources as well. I found your channel in my suggested videos and I'm so glad to be a new subscriber
Hi new subbie here!! Love the cards. And will try and send cards to kids in need of a little cheer. Also, any embellishments you have extras of you can send my way. TFS
When you donate your cards do you also include envelopes? Have you contacted the Hospital first? Love this idea, my area has 2 huge Hospitals within 40 miles of each other, one more local to me. Also, a RMDH ( Ronald Mc'D House).... Love your ideas & what a great way to support your community! Nursing homes are another good one.
Hi Jess. New subbie. Love this idea - to use up paper and for a good cause. One question - don't see a link to that paper rounder tool you used. Suggestions on where to get it? Thanks so much for a great video!
I love this paper pad. you done good!!lol And what part of Co are you from? I live in Co springs. I love watching your videos. You always have such awesome designs. hope your having a great Monday.😘
Hi Wendy! I'm in the Boulder area. I have a Facebook group for Colorado crafters. It's called Colorado Stamp Junkies, in case you're interested. We have a couple of gals from CO Springs. Thanks for your kind words!
Hi Jess ~ Thanks so much for sharing.....I try to use up all the little pieces too and what I don't use up I share with a local school. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Hi Jess, do you send envelopes with your cards? I want to send mine with envelopes, but I saw on their website that envelopes aren't necessary. Will they use them if I send them?

Another cute group of cards. I like the rounded corners, just adds a special touch.
What a fun paper pad. I love the cards you made with it.
Love how you make all these cards. I bought a pad and tried to make cards, and I got overwhelmed. So Kudos to you, you do an amazing job, and maybe one day I will be successful.

Ann
This is perfect for little kids it would brighten their days so much. Thanks for the share this is my next pad of paper to get.
I think what you are doing is amazing. And the cards you make are always so cute. Thank you for sharing
I love how you make cards mostly from a paper pad and stickers. They are so pretty and don't depend on stamps and coloring. Amazing!
Love your thought process and your methodical "assembly line" fashion!! Yes, so many of us don't want to cut into our precious paper and then we have tons lying around!!
I love using 6x6 paper pads...you inspired me to do so. I have been mailing them to the children's charities and am completely hooked!
the last card that you show is so cute!!!!! I love this papre pad and I love the idea of batch making cards. tfs!

You are so kind to make these cards for kids who need a pick up to their life. They are all so darling. I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Your cards are simply awesome. It amazes me how you can just pop them out. I pick up 6x6 pads all the time, this will help me put them to good use. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks! I've done this for many years before filming it so the practice has helped.
As usual great job Jess, my husband teaches 2nd grade and I ran an after school program for k-8 for 2 years. So awesome to watch your videos.
I've been waiting for the fairy tales video. Awesome job as usual. I still love fairy tales characters. They're just so darn cute. Tfs sweetie. The children that receive these cards will be pleased. Hugs-Kristina🤗
Hi Kristina! Glad I was able to finally get this done. Kits have been very distracting lately. Thanks for your kind words!

Enjoyed your video. I can't pick just one card that I liked, I loved them all.
I am always looking for an idea of how to make "kits" for myself to use up paper and stickers (etc) to make large sets of cards for family and friends. Many great ideas in this video...Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks so much for sharing. you did an awesome job of all those papers. cards look great.
This is one of my favorites of the doodlebug. Wish their were more adult paper pads that coordinate and have cut aparts as much as these!
My Mind's Eye is my suggestion for more adult pads with cut aparts.
Hi Jess, I finally attempted your approach to a 6X6 paper pad and I am totally addicted to the process. I think it is the most fun I have had in card making in a while. Thanks for sharing with us all.

Hello...great videos...
Hi Jess. New subbie. Love this idea - to use up paper and for a good cause. One question - don't see a link to that paper rounder tool you used. Suggestions on where to get it? Thanks so much for a great video!
Thank you! I did some research and unfortunately its been discontinued. Didn't know that when I used it. Sorry!
"a comment" :D

FABULOUS #OBSESSED xxxx
I'm so glad you're enjoying them. Reminds me I need to get some time to record the next one.
how many cards do you send at a time, and what type box do you use.
It depends. I usually mail a medium flat rate box when it's full. It makes the most sense shipping wise because the cards are so heavy.
Hi Jess, do you send envelopes with your cards? I want to send mine with envelopes, but I saw on their website that envelopes aren't necessary. Will they use them if I send them?
Sorry. I don't know. You could send them an email and ask.
I am interested in your charity list. Where is it?

Would love to know of a organization in the UK if anyone can help ? X
This organization is a bit different but I think it's still a helpful UK based resource. www.postpals.co.uk/
Thank you :D
You always do such a great job! Please don't include me in your giveaway, I just wanted to leave a comment. Jenn
