Kristie, this has got to be one of the all time high card count from just one 6x6 pad. Forty-seven cards!! Absolutely Amazing!! I just LOVE your videos. Thanks for all your hard work. It really helps a newbie cardmaker like myself. 😃💖
Thank you so much for your kind words, Karen! This was probably the most cards I've ever made from one 6x6 paper pad. My overall goal isn't to make as many cards as possible. But because of the paper designs in this pad, it just worked out that way. Happy crafting to you!
I have no idea why I've been relying on die cuts and stamped images for my cards lately when I have so much patterned paper! You've inspired me to change things up and use that wide variety of paper I've accumulated. Thanks!
Funny the little, but important, tips you can learn from your videos. I learned from Kristina Werner and Julie Ebersole a couple of years ago how to make a nice, even flag-end (cut up the center, then from each point to the top of the center cut), but always felt the second cut was a bit awkward. Then watching your videos, I finally noticed you turned the paper OVER to make the second cut from the same, comfortable-to-the hand angle. Eureka! Such a simple tip from a true craftsman. I would have never thought of that on my own. Thank you so much!
Carol, I've been doing it that way for many years now. I'm sure I didn't come up with the idea myself. I probably saw it on another UA-cam video. But it really does make it easier to get even banner tails. I'm glad I could share the tip with you! Happy crafting to you!
Thank you, Beth! It was never my intention to make soooo many cards. But based on the papers and sketches I chose, it just turned out this way. Have a wonderful day!
I have just found your tutorials. LOVE everything I have seen. I'm becoming addicted. Now to buy the paper packs and try my hand at making some cards .... Maria
Really enjoy your videos. You've inspired me, I've used 2 full paper packs and some paper stock and made over 300 cards for my local hospice. Thank you x
Thank you for watching my videos, Wendy. I'm glad I can provide some inspiration for you. What a blessing you are to so many people. Thank you for your kindness and giving heart.
These are awesome. I got this collection and it was the first set I made cards from. I love seeing what you do with the different sketches. Thanks for sharing.
Another amazing video, Kristie! Wow, 47 cards! You are so talented! Thanks for sharing all the measurements on your blog again. I think I may need this Doodlebug paper pad now.
I'm so happy I found you! Such great cards, I've always loved the paper packs but have never used a pack for cards alone...I'm going back and watching all your videos!
Double thumbs up! I so love your videos. I always learn something new. Now I always mat all my layers, which I learned from you. You are awesome! A great big thank you.
Yeah! A new video from you! Thank you for wonderful inspirations and for giving the mesurements to make cards similar to your cards! Hugs from Germany :-) Christiana
I enjoyed this tutorial veeeery much! ^_^ Not only bcs of the sketches, but also bcs this time you made sooo many cards thanks to the sketches you have chosen. Thank you!
Thank you, Sher! Occasionally, I'll add a 1/2" strip of pattern paper to the inside. And if I'm personally using the cards, I'll sometimes include a stamped sentiment to the inside.
Do you ever use the sentiments that come in the 6x6 paper pads? I don't think I have seen them used in your videos. Thanks for your video. I enjoy them ALL.
Thank you, Cindy! When I used Doodlebug's Puppy Love collection, I used a couple of the image cutouts. But I think that may be the only time. The size doesn't always fit with the sketches I have selected. And sometimes the sentiments seem to be aimed more toward scrapbooking, rather than cardmaking. Although there are some really cute sentiments/images in the Doodlebug 6x6's. There is another crafter, Jess Crafts, who uses 6x6's for cardmaking. She uses basically just the paper pad to make cards. Our styles are very different since I love lots layers and sketches.
Thanks for answering my question. I agree about th size of the sentiments in the pad. I like the way you layer. it adds soooo much to the card. looking fowarding to your next video. another question, pleae. do you donate your card to any particular organization?
You're welcome, Cindy! I'm always glad to help. For about 4 years, I used to donate cards to an organization called Operation Write Home. I live locally to their headquarters and even volunteered quite often. The organization is now closed and I don't make nearly as many cards as I used to. I do still donate many of my cards, but I don't have any specific organization where I send them. But I give locally. Many of my cards are donated to my church, I have put together numerous baskets of cards for different silent auctions, and I love to give boxes of cards as gifts. I also use a large amount of my cards personally. Whenever my card stash starts to get full, a need for cards always seems to come up. :)
Hi Laura! I have all of the products used listed on my blog post. The link is in the description above. But I think you may be asking me about the Reverse Confetti stamp set.
DD Ladybug, I've had my trimmer for over 5 years now, so I really don't remember where I bought it. I believe Tonic Studios has discontinued this specific style though. However, I just looked on Amazon and saw a few being sold there. (At least on the US Amazon site.)
Janet Doecke Thank you! Goodness you are right about the music for this video though. It’s one of my older videos and obviously I didn’t select the best music then. Lol! You can always mute it and listen to something else. 🙂

Thank you, Tina!
Kristie, your cards are fantastic. Love having the examples to go by. When you finish your cards, do you always leave them blank on the inside?
Thank you, Sher! Occasionally, I'll add a 1/2" strip of pattern paper to the inside. And if I'm personally using the cards, I'll sometimes include a stamped sentiment to the inside.
Love your videos and use many of your ideas, hope you don't mind?
Thank you! I'm glad to share with fellow crafters!

could you tell me which circle sentiments stamps you used please? thank you x
Hi Laura! I have all of the products used listed on my blog post. The link is in the description above. But I think you may be asking me about the Reverse Confetti stamp set.
I have been searching for your tonic cutter with no luck ... would you be so kind to tell me where you got it?
DD Ladybug, I've had my trimmer for over 5 years now, so I really don't remember where I bought it. I believe Tonic Studios has discontinued this specific style though. However, I just looked on Amazon and saw a few being sold there. (At least on the US Amazon site.)
Thank you ...
I just love watching, but find your music choice a little odd!
Janet Doecke Thank you! Goodness you are right about the music for this video though. It’s one of my older videos and obviously I didn’t select the best music then. Lol! You can always mute it and listen to something else. 🙂
