Jess, great job on all your cards. Doodlebug papers are so cute. The critters are adorable. I like to craft on a budget and the 6 x 6 paper pad is such a great idea. I like that you share the thought process before you begin.....SO HELPFUL. The children that receive your cards will be so happy. Bless you for taking your gift and sharing it with those who are going through a tough time. Thank you so much for sharing, your videos really help me out. I look forward to your next video.-Kristina🤗
Thank you so much for your kind words! So glad I can share the videos with people who find them helpful and then the cards with those who need a little cheer.
I absolutely love how you have shown how to make a ton of super cute cards out of just one 6x6 paper pad. You have inspired me to try it myself. I am also now in love with the cuteness of Doodlebug and ordered a ton of cute card making stuff. My favorite part is that I am also into decorating my planner and can use scraps and bits in there as well. Again thank you so much for making these videos on 6x6 inch pads. They are my favorite ones to watch, you make it look so easy. Although I know the video is sped up. ☺. I can't wait to see more, and in the mean time I have enjoyed watching your older videos. Thank you Jess 😊.
Hi Vanessa, Thank you for your kind words. I think Doodlebug is great for planners too. More 6x6 videos are on the way. Just finished recording Puppy Love.
Jess you are awesome!! My goodness I was praying that you would be able to make 26 cards!! I love the idea of giving cards away to sick children. I think I will do similar. I will keep you updated. Thanks for inspiring.
So very cute. I really like that you show there is no need for a bunch of materials to make really fun and cute cards. Thank you for sharing your talent!
When you posted the info about donating cards, I was thrilled. I could spend my time making cards that kids might love and I just sent off my first 2 bunches. Thank you for mentioning and posting the possibility of making kids smile. I have also gotten lots of tips on card making from you as I am new to card making. This is a lovely way to put a skill to use.
That's so awesome to hear. I'm glad I was able to help you have fun with this new hobby. Thanks so much for watching my videos. I hope they continue to inspire.
With so many patterned papers in that pad, this was definitely a challenge, but you met it with great results. I know you are trying to make the cards with just the bare necessities and you succeeded. I would suggest that for those who are willing to add some solid cardstock in to mat the designs, it would be a little easier to combine some of the patterns like the rainbow waves. But I did enjoy the video and your finished cards very much👍
Amazing, all those cards from 1 pack of paper. I love the fact that you used stickers, especially for the next to the last card. It turned out so cute, and I'm sure it was so fun to make. Kinda like being a kid again with stickers. You have inspired me to make more cards. I love doddlebug, they have the brightest, cutest, paper. TFS.
I have watched your videos before but only today did I get convicted to actually make some cards and send them off. I love making cards, Jess, you have really inspired me to make these. I plan to send one set hopefully a month but most probably one set every two months. I am 65 and don't have much of an income, but I think this will, of course, help the young ones, and also help with my craving for card making! Thank you again for the inspiration, Donna.
You make my day most of the time, because it seems you really love doing what you do . I'm very much a beginner and you have inspired me. Just a thanks for sharing and darn , I missed out on your cute give away. Keep them coming 💜💜💜✌✌✌ Sherry
Love your videos and inspiring to use your stash and use your paper if you aren't donating and have cards on hand. The doodlebug lines are always so sweet.
I love it!!! Thank you very much for doing this for us!!! I love, love Doodlebug and you are very kind to show us how to use it!!! And I especially love that you didn't add nothing else, since I can't afford to buy the complete collections I tend to buy the pads and the icons. Thank you so very much!!!
I loved the cards you made. I buy the pads and use some of the papers with other stuff to make my cards but hadnt thought about using the whole pad in one go. This has given me some inspiration to try that.
If I only use bits a pieces, I build up too many so I've started this method to help me justify all the pads I buy. Thanks for watching! Happy crafting!
I loved your card video! You are so talented to come up with so many cards out of one paper package. I also love that you donate to sick children's organization. May God continue to inspire and bless you.😊 ❤ I'm a new subie from watching this video.
Great video! Thank you for the ideas...I dont know how many times I tried to make a card using a combo of pages and epic fail! Not know...thanks again!!!!
(First time commenting) I just recently came across your videos and I AM HOOKED!!! Subscribed right away after 2 videos. I love your detailed method and creativity. Your voice is really appropriate for these types of videos as well. You have really inspired me to get back into card making and given me the idea to donate them to our local Children's hospital. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing!
All your cards turned out super cute. You've inspired me to use up paper pads. TFS. Oh and I just subscribed to you page. Can't wait to watch more videos.
I just bought 2 Doodlebug paper pads so I will use your card design videos to help me make my cards. I bought the Cream and Sugar collection, and the Dragon Tales (I think that is the name - green and blue with viking birthday theme). Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Jeannine
i love all the different cards you make with just one pad. it's so nice to have an organisation like that to send cards out to kids. i don't think we have that here where i live (netherlands)
I tend to hoard my Doodlebug paper pads because l am crazy about their bright, cheerful colors & cute designs. I usually get two, at least of each pad. I absolutely adore your cards!! Kids are so lucky to receive these darling cards. I hope that they save them forever. I know if l had a sick child that received one of your cards l would make sure it was saved. I know you do them in a hurry sometimes but they don't look hurried. Hugs🤗🤗😋✂️🌸🌷❤️❤️🏷😍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm a Doodlebug addict for sure but I'm trying to keep my crafting space/horde under control so I really try to use them. Plus you all seem to really enjoy the videos that result so it makes me even more happy.
I enjoy watching your process in deciding what works and what does not. I know you try to not use extra supplies, but simply inking the edges of some of your paper strips and cut aparts will make them stand out enough to work with busier patterns. Just an idea to make things a bit easier.
These videos have me doing something similar with a paper pad that has a stamp and die that match it. I'm having great fun ad don't feel so iintemindated to try.
This is probably my favorite set that I've seen you use so far. But I am wondering if you've ever used the set Smitten Kitten. It's the one collection that I'm really wanting to get.
Smitten Kitten looks adorable but I didn't want too many pads with girly colors and Smitten Kitten has a lot of pink. I try to mix up the cards I'm donating so they'll have a good mix for the kids.
I just love your videos like this, and I hope you never quit making them. So many 6x6 paper pads and so little time!! LOL. Great cards. I found that the stamp set link didn't work for me. ???? Love your work! 😃💖
There are two links. Looks like Simon Says Stamp is out of it so the link won't work and then Create a Smile is currently taking a break to move so not sure if the set is available. Sorry!
Love your cards and your thought process on how to use the paper pad. you have inspired me to donate my cards to a hospital or similar place too! Just wondering, do you like your paper trimmer? I have a Martha Stewart guillotine cutter and it's ok. my original cutter was a wooden guillotine cutter that I loved, but it broke. So i'm always looking to find a better one.
Hi Diane! So glad to hear you're inspired to donate your cards. I really love my Swingline trimmer for the the price I paid (about $26). I think that compared to the price of constantly replacing blades in the Fiskars trimmer I had, it's a great value. However it is a bit tricky to cut really fine pieces. I hear great things about the Tonic Guillotine as well but the Swingline was cheaper and easier to get my hands on.
Hi Carol, I believe it's still available directly from the manufacturer. www.createasmilestamps.com/stempel-stamps/just-because/#cc-m-product-12579765323
Jess you totally Inspire me and keep up Your Tutorials will you be doing the Halloween the am by doolebug I totally love this paper by even though I don't celebrate Halloween but my grandbabies love getting free candy lol. But the paper is really nice. Please let me know I just ordered it. And you really help me to make cards even tho I am just starting. Thank you Blessing on you and your amazing gifts
Thank you for your kind words. I'm so happy you find my videos helpful but I've been sick and busy with work so I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make the video with Booville. . Sorry.
It's Create a Smile Just Because. It is now linked in the video description. The video accidentally published before I could add everything but it's fixed now.
Hi Jan! Thanks for watching! Create a Smile Stamps is closed for moving but will reopen in about a week and then you should be able to order from them. It is likely sold out on Simon Says Stamp because I can no longer find it there.
I don't know exactly because I don't do it all in one sitting and I don't record everything. But I would estimate under six hours. Cutting all the little pieces and card bases can eat up time but I tend to do those off camera while doing other tasks or watching TV.
They are from a German stamp company called Create a Smile. Here's the link on their website. www.createasmilestamps.com/stempel-stamps/just-because/#cc-m-product-12579765323

Hi Angelina! Thanks for watching! Hope you're able to donate cards in the future. I find it makes my hobby even more fun.
These are so cute and I love that you made them with minimum supplies.
Sweet cards for some sweet little girls, I am sure you will make their day, please continue making these videos! They are very inspiring!
Thanks! More are on the way! Just finished recording Puppy Love.
These are "adorable". Love how the H2O was " covered". It looked like a "collage" ...so cute!!!

Thanks! I love that Doodlebug paper pads are designed so you don't even need stickers but they sure are fun to work with.
Adorable cards! Love that stamp set too!

Hi Donna! Glad you found the video helpful! I am trying to make some budget friendly videos since I feel like those are rarer.
You make my day most of the time, because it seems you really love doing what you do . I'm very much a beginner and you have inspired me. Just a thanks for sharing and darn , I missed out on your cute give away. Keep them coming 💜💜💜✌✌✌ Sherry

Very cute cards. Clever!
Love your videos and inspiring to use your stash and use your paper if you aren't donating and have cards on hand. The doodlebug lines are always so sweet.

Jess Crafts I have the cream and sugar. Need to get cracking with it. lol
I love it!!! Thank you very much for doing this for us!!! I love, love Doodlebug and you are very kind to show us how to use it!!! super cute... I love to make tags from my scraps after i have used up the paper pad, but I love your ideas.
I loved the cards you made. I buy the pads and use some of the papers with other stuff to make my cards but hadnt thought about using the whole pad in one go. This has given me some inspiration to try that.

Love how you use so much of the paper pad. I am going to look into donating cards as you do. I find that's an awesome idea?
Love doodle bug.
Love this process TFS 💟
I loved the sticker card ; )
Love these videos!

very very nice, im always wondering what to do with some of my smaller pieces and ive got a few new ideas now :)
I would also love it if you would use smitten kitten. I know it is girly but, there are a lot of kitty people out there.
Love this!!!
love your cards. Im just starting to make cards;

Jess Crafts That's OK, I'm just glad I've got the link that works. 😁🍟
Thanks! ❤❤❤
Oh, man, now I wish I had bought the stickers too.
Love your cards, very inspiring! May I ask what you write inside the cards you donate?
I include jokes. You can watch this video about it here: ua-cam.com/video/zlm3Jco_piw/v-deo.html

It's Create a Smile Just Because. It is now linked in the video description. The video accidentally published before I could add everything but it's fixed now.
Thank you! I really enjoy watching you make cards, and I think it is wonderful that you give them away!
Would love to purchase the sentiment set but the link isn't working. Please help! So love watching you make all the cards from the paper pads.
