  • I traveled on a Honda Win across Vietnam for 30 days. This was the first day of riding the motorbike and everything that could have gone wrong did. But it ended up being an incredible experience where I met some amazingly helpful people. At the time I struggled to be open and accept some of the help because I wasn't used to people being so open and selfless.
The goal was to reach Can Tho and I barely made it there in one piece.

Wow, it's amazing to see the hospitality of the people during your trip in Vietnam. As things kept going wrong, numerous people stepped forward to help. Can't wait to see the rest of the story.

great series man! ive done this trip 2x and made all the same mistakes, even got turned back/guided by the guys on a bridge like that as well, the Vietnamese people are really super helpful and kind, so many random people stopped to help us fix our bikes, put chains on etc and most refused any cash we tried to give them. and the mechanics along the way are geniuses at fixing those bikes with cannibalized old parts, some of the best mechanics in the world haha. some of the breakdowns gave us some of the most memorable stories and interactions of the entire trip, you just have to trust it will all work out in the end :)

Haven't finished watching the whole series, but it seems like your videos have a lot to wait for. Your trip has many issues, but they make your videos unpredictable, and they expose the true Vietnam in the way that a well-planned trip and well-organized videos cannot. Safe travel, man.

Thank you! Hope you finish the series. Unplanned is the best way to get the full experience!

Đa số những người giúp đỡ bạn ở Việt Nam đều là từ lòng tốt thật sự, cũng có người xấu nhưng rất ít.

I had a very similar experience going down the Mekong on a scooter and yes the Vietnamese are just the most beautiful caring people and I just wish that the rest of the world could be half as caring

The map is only available on android and it will be automatically downloaded with Google Maps. If it doesn't show up just uninstalled and reinstall it once in Vietnam. Cheers!
