Thanks for sharing Thomas. What were your overall impressions of the Macan? Better than you imagined or possibly not as much? I also like the Lexus, especially the NX 450h+. Only infortunate part is it’s essentially on the RAV4 Prime platform. Tried and true I suppose though which is a win. How is the weather over there these days? Here's to hoping that the CPO '23 X3 M40i my wife bought in May can give us 10 years of trouble-free experience, with regular maintenance. I'm a little confused. I was ready to write off BMW based on your previous cut-throat review of them. Are you saying that now they won't break the bank on upkeep, repair costs?
They have made some big improvements in their 4 and 6 cylinder engines and while they are not perfect, they have gotten a lot better. Stay away from V8s unless you really want the power and are willing to take on costs and reliability challenges
@@JanetFoster-n2k they continue to strive to the Toyota standard. Great goal; Japanese still the king, but BMW has certainly improved, no longer an embarrassing match up

Don't fall for this new found BMW reliability. All surveys that say they're getting better are two year olds at best way too early for the real problems to surface
I like the Acura RDX and MDX but will not buy one because of the infotainment system not being a touch screen. Acura needs to step up and have touchscreens for them to be able to compete with Lexus. Out of all those luxury vehicles I think I would go with the Lexus though I have heard they don’t have comfortable seats compared to the competition.
I believe the Infiniti QX60 Sensory should be on the list. Bought one a little over a year ago. Love it. And I'm a long time Acura owner. Chose it over the MDX, no regrets.
