You'll HATE These 10 Cars If You Buy Them!

- That's right. These are 10 cars to avoid because you'll just hate them if you buy them. At least, that's my opinion and what I've seen when reviewing cars and talking to owners. Some of these I've owned or considered owning myself, but there's just something wrong with all of them!
I'll show you a Mercedes, a Nissan (or two), and many other cars and SUVs from your favorite brands (like Jeep, Dodge, and more).

Let's get into it... Now!
Whoop whoop. !
Someone's gotta take Jeep aside and tell them they can't be a car manufacturer no more. Find something you're good at.
If only suckers stopped buying them
Yes they need to stop building junk in general
Jeeps are garbage except for maybe the wrangler 392 but who’s going to pay 90,000 for that beast my old 1984 jeep scrambler is the best jeep ever built in-line 6 5speed transmission simple 🤙🏾
That’s why I bought a 4Runner
💯%. They suck and should realize it’s not their forté
I just bought a 2024 Toyota Camry XSE V6, mostly because I watch a lot of channels like this one. Hopefully that will turn out well. Needless to say, I didn't test drive any BMWs or Land Rovers.
Great choice
Great choice 🤙🏾
Nice...we bought a 2024 Camry Hybrid Nightshade Edition in November.
You’ll be fine. Good thing you got the 6 too as it’s actually engaging to drive.
Great car and they are beautiful and reliable. Good luck with your great car
Appreciate the content consistency even when it’s below freezing temperatures.
Thank you for the support, much appreciated
He has to do it in freezing weather because it is too cold for security to come out and arrest him
To be fair nobody buys a Caravan if they have the money for an Odyssey or Sienna.
That’s fair
Well according to shari from car help corner the grand caravan is actually pretty good first used vehicle plus the parts r cheap an unlike most minivans in this segment dodge an Chrysler minivans fold flat in the second row unlike the others where u have to remove the seats now that’s better plus not everyone has Honda or Toyota money to get those vans
Can’t go wrong with a nice reliable beige Toyota Camry.
Haha basic
@@ECPP oh yes. And for the record I drive a F150 with the 5.0 coyote. My second F150 and he’s a sexy truck to boot.

Thanks for sharing Mark. Always look forward to your videos on both channels.
Glad you like them! I really appreciate the support. Have a wonderful week.
Fast paced, informative, entertaining and keeps my attention every show! Love this channel.
Thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend.
2019 Acura RDX, 80,000 miles. Never, never been in the shop for anything. Still riding on original Goodyear tires.
The RDX is great driver
Agree with everything you said. A little correction. The engine for the CLA was Renault designed but built in the USA by Nissan. As if that’s not enough the car is built by Infinity in a plant in Mexico. The engines sold in Europe are built by a subsidiary of Mercedes and the cars are assembled in Hungary in a Mercedes plant.
Thanks for sharing, I appreciate that
I really appreciate your videos and your honesty! 💯☺️
I appreciate that!
I own a 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V over 170k miles.. 6 speed manual.. not one engine or transmission problem.. just regular maintenance.... 2012 Nissan Frontier SL V6 crew cab... not one engine or transmission issue.. 160k miles.. do your maintenance people... it's called maintenance for a reason
Sounds like a win
Had a sentra transmission go out around 172,k miles , be safe
@@Hikari3.0 must have been automatic.. I've never heard of anyone with a Spec V that had their transmission go out.. besides to your maintenance 👨🔧
I always appreciate your relevant content in these highly-interesting videos, as well as your abundance of entertaining energy! Bravo from the USA!
Wow, thank you!
@@ECPP glad you didn't let anything stop you bro. Telling the truth about your opinion is hard during the notoriety time.
WOW amazing TY so much ,,Keep up the great work
I know that I speak for everyone by saying thank you for the heads-up Mark!!!WAY TO GO!!!
I really appreciate the support.
I think some of those small jeeps were made in Italy by Fiat. That is not an optimal situation.
Yes the Stellantis experience
I just love this guy. Helped me buy the best 2nd hand Mercedes ever. I knew what to look for. Forever grateful
Glad I could help
Which car did u buy?
@@mikegarcia7452 w213 e400 m276 engine

Hey, I want to buy an E Class coupe w213 facelift, which engine do you recommend? I was thinking of the E450? is it a reliable engine? Or you can recommend me a engine, thanks. nice video btw.
Thx for sharing your wisdom my friend. Love your car channel. Also I'm glad I didn't buy Nissan Juke in 2018 and brought Toyota instead. Never regret it one bit
Thank you and great choice
The only path that that Nissan will see is the towed ride to the shop
Exactly
My current job is health services we mostly use those dodges they are POS at 70k miles they shake, brakes issues, transmission issues radio issues very bad cars
Yes they are cheap and dirty that’s why fleets often pick them up
Watching that video l had an epiphany. I realized that l should NEVER visit Edmonton in mid-March!
Dude, by the end of your presentation, you looked like Jack Frost!
Great video, in spite of the snow. Now, l hear Nissan could be teaming up with Honda. Looks like l'll be relegated to buying only Toyota, or Mazda soon.
Haha exactly right Don, I feel like moving too. It’s pretty rough many months of the year
khokhol , Canada is just a nightmare, better visit Germany or Europe. stay away from this expensive, overpriced, frozen village
@@ECPPSouthern Ontario we hardly see snow anymore. More rain than snow all winter
I’ve been driving my Nissan Cube since 2009 with no issues. Love it.
Nice
I live in a pretty wealthy area lots of sports stars and more. I see so many of these junk high end cars but they can afford to take the loss in the end. They don’t care about reliability…
Cheers
@@ECPPIn Sweden about 80 % of all new cars sold go to "companies" (including leasing companies)! Mark, do you think anyone cares about more than the value after 3-4 years?
Some companies can of course be one-man-companies, family companies, and the like, and then they keep the cars till the wheels fall off.
The Swedish car market is a little bit special VW/VAG is very big, Stellantis very small, Toyota is also very small, Nissan, Honda, Subaru, Mazda and Suzuki marginal.
Volvo is quite big. BMW has been growing for the last 25 years, but from small numbers.
Tesla has sold well the last few years.
I have a 2013 Dodge Caravan and is incredibly practical and reliable. I call it my covered pickup, for short time even pulled a popup camper. I now have over 135k on it and may replace it with a newer model. The only issue I have is it may eat brakes.
it is practical
We have a 2023 Toyota Venza Hybrid. We love it!
Great vehicles
He is 100% correct about ANY V8 engine BMW makes, especially the N63. I had a 550i with the N63 engine post recall mods and my valves still blew. I now have the inline V6 X5. 65K miles in and I’ve had no major issues. I have not yet experienced the leveling off issue.
Never heard of an inline V6!
Thank you
Yet another excellent video. What would you recommend as a good first vehicle? Looking for my teenage son.
Hi Thomas thank you for watching. I would recommend a Mazda3 or a Honda Civic. Both affordable and reliable as well as has enough “cool factor”
Toyota Camry's and Corolla's are really good too
Thanks for sharing

My lease expired on 2021 80 anniversary Compass jeep, buy out is 18 thousand,im over the milage allowed already by 4 thousand miles which is 18 cent a mile ( no problems yet you think I should buy the lease or get out and find something cheaper, I would change if there willing to buy the car so I don’t have to pay for over miles and turn in fee?
This is the best real world channel.
Thank you very much
The three pointed Swastika has surely been disappointing after the early 90's!
You're right about these piece of junk they called cars. Unlimited repairs especially when the warranties is over. I have a lexus 2016 es350 and the only thing done on thst car is the break ,nothing else. Toyota makes the best cars and great resales value.
Well said!
Jeep Compass: Depending on the year you have, there are bad rusting issues where the tray and rubber bushings that holds both the engine and CVT will destroy your car, and is very expensive to replace. I gave my mother-in-law a 2011 Compass (given to me by my dad) and recently had to get a used tray (discontinued part for 2011 - 2014 versions) to replace the one that's rusted over. What's worse is that the car has under 95K miles and to find out that this issue is usually known around the 100K mark. Plus needing to fix the control arms, CV axel, tie rods and ball barrels due to the cheapness of the parts. The car is zippy, but that's the only thing great about it.
Yes that sort of sums it up. Problems galore.
Bought a brand new 2016 bmw 328xi 8 yrs ago and still own it to this date. has 130k miles on it. not a single problem at all. amazing car.
Sounds like a great run
Good to see our efforts to stop global warming are working.
Yes indeed
Lol.
Big fan Mark, but getting tired of looking at the snow!!!
Haha thanks for the support. Yes you and me both. I am really ready for spring
Ok can I ask a question do you advise me to buy a Chevrolet Suburban 2006
So I always drove sports cars. Started with am eclipse in 2000. Then I only drove accord coupes until they quit making them.
Well that’s when the trouble began. I got a crv and was the most boring, dorky thing I’ve ever driven. It leaked gas into the oil, never warmed up in winter, etc.
Then I tried a rav4 and while reliable, was also soooo boring. Like driving a fridge.
Luckily I tried Mazda next and got a cx50. Super fun to drive, great looking, and somehow tuned like a porche.
I’ve found today it’s soooo hard to find fun cars that engage the drivers. Mazda to the rescue.
Mitt allmänna intryck av i princip alla bilmärken är mer eller mindre skräp från 2005 och framåt?????.
Min Suzuki grand vitara är en av de sista bilarna med en riktigt ram. Tung ja. Men det är en rejäl bil.
The newer cars are certainly more complex
Here is a shocker regret purchase for you. 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid Sport. Seriously. I’m stunned too. But it’s shortfalls start with it being a stripped down base featured car, but you can’t tell based on the full price. At that time, dealers were asking and getting over msrp price due to supply shortages. Now I’m not satisfied and regretting. No heated seats, only driver seat adjusts, no dimming mirrors, no side camera, no leather seats, no nothing! It is a stripped down Accord of features that a few years before would have been part of the package. The next disappointment is lackluster fuel economy for a hybrid. I barely squeeze out 41 mpg and I have to drive it gingerly to achieve that. If I drive it “sport” it’s 39mpg. Also, odd point. 14k miles and my tires tread are wearing thin? What the heck? Finally, the push button gear shift is very annoying. Its Bluetooth always struggles to locate my iPhone. I’m sorry I got it, it looked phenomenal in that blue gray color, but it’s a boring and minimalist car. Reliable, yes. Boring? Yes!!! Definitely no frills and illusion of thrills.
Sorry…had a 2016 Grand Caravan and STILL miss it. My daughter showed dogs when we were in the US. Simply no better vehicle to comfortably carry all of her gear, dogs…and oh, us!
Awrsome
Can't really understand the hate towards the N47 Diesel Engines in those 3 series. I have a F30 rocking it with about 135k miles on it. The Timing Chain issue was a production failure issue that only occured on some batches of these engines. If you buy one that is already like past 70k miles and it doesn't rattle at cold start, you probably caught one with good production status. Never the mind these timing chains are still wearable goods even on the B57 and B47 engines they are still dated at about 125k miles or start of timing chain rattle to be swapped.
The Coolant System leaking or the Water Pump failing was unfortunately a notorious thing for BMW of that age. One wouldn't face different outcome with the N55/N54 Engines on the 335i's.
Though my one hasn't failed yet. My older brothers N47 had a failure on it with leaks at about 140k miles, but I repaired that and swapped a few parts within an hour without much issue. Only getting the timing chain repaired is a hussle and can be expensive because the engine has to come out. idk how much it costs over there at freedom country, but here in Europe you can count on about 2000-2500€ Service Costs, when you buy the spare parts yourself by reputable sellers.
The early Gen N47 had more issues and timing gear was improved later on

Regarles reliability… those BMW “X” are unique, you can go from the “X1” to “X7” and the DRIVING experience is amazing !fast, agile, comfortable, well equipped and you feel like vehicle has no weigh .🤷♂️

The one thing most of these cars have in common is they are companies owned by European parent companies (except the Ford Lightning). Daimler (Mercedes), Stellantis (Dodge, Jeep), Renault (Nissan). What is not on the list is a pure Japanese brand like Toyota or Honda.

the 3.0 diesel 6 cyl is the only one worth buying in the uk , but new ones have too many problems ,, dpf ,, egr blocked cats , e.t.c. avoid ;

Ok. Lightning is just the range anxiety (which, in the end, is just a perception) that makes it bad.. No mechanical nightmare or quality issues. Check!

@@anthonyhudson431 It is very reliable for a BMW. They use the B48 engine in the base model Supra in the US so if Toyota uses it then it must be very reliable.

I’m glad I purchased a Toyota 4Runner TRD off road premium best suv ever built
Nice rides
Glad I have an RSX-S turbo and daily 2005 RSX-S
The 2012 and older pathfinders are awesome they really killed the model with the new ones
Yes the new units are a flop. The older ones were more competitive with the 4runner
I have a 2023 platinum...don't look anything like the older models...since that is what is shown here...also no more CVT...I am assuming your review is for older models?
@@john07jake09 In 2013 they turned it into a front wheel drive with an AWD option and lowered it to try and get gas mileage. That change it from what the brand was before with a longitudinal drivetrain with conventional high low 4x4. It is no longer able to be modified to get ground clearance and large tires like the previous generations and is not suitable for my needs. It is probably a great vehicle for others but I am sad we have fewer options for off road.
@@PGXPPR I don't think they are meant to be modified. My Platinum has AWD and suits my needs. Definitely not off roading in its but fine for most. We take it on logging roads in Maine...like you said just have to watch for any deep dips. Nissan is trying to compete with most 3 row SUV's that are out now and it's a competitive segment. Depends on what you are looking for. Had mine for a year now and still loving it. Great on long drives....very quiet and comfortable..handles great and was far better in the snow this year than my Acadia. Definitely a family vehicle

@@ECPPfor context, I never seen snow in my life.. (may go visit USA next year for a white-Xmas)
I didn’t think with that kinda snow it’s recommended to be outdoors?
@@eeiko321so you know. Most times when its snowing, its not that cold. When the snow stops, then it's followed by a big drop in temperature & stays cold which is why the snow stays & doesn't melt.
I always thought the Nissan Juke was literally the ugliest car! 😂 I remember one time, my mom and I were driving somewhere, and she saw it for the first time. She rolled down the window and said, 'That is the ugliest car I've ever seen!' LMAO 😅 🤣
It is certainly an different unit
It's in dead-heat race in ugliness with the Pontiac Aztec
Fisherman’s tackle box, best thing to say about the trash interior and vehicle named Jeep! 🤣
Haha yes
Here’s the rub. People who buy Mercedes, Audi, and a lot of other brands can afford to dump them. Hardworking people are getting ripped off by an industry that doesn’t care about them. Where are the quality vehicles that don’t cost a fortune? The consumer is the loser. Everyone else makes money. Repairs are astronomical now. DIY is more difficult. We’re paying more but getting less. Fewer and fewer people can afford a new car today. Dealerships think they can sell overpriced junk to fewer people. That’s not sustainable.
You are right, its really not sustainable
Air ride suspension lowers after certain time, that's normal
It’s snowing 😊

I mean, if you're going to bash cars for issues that they've addressed, throw in model years/engine configuration. Don't do whatever research you did, only to leave viewers to research the same exact thing because you didn't mention it. E.g. X5 50i
Yes often do. Thanks for watching

Haha that they can do indeed
BMW, break my wallet 😅
@@MummaBear exactly 💯 %right
That is not true, he was talking about one of the worst engines in BMW which is 8 cylinders. For in-line six cylinder engine, it has an excellent reputation and review and consider one of the best engines in car world. Most of them stay for more than 200k miles for sure if they have maintained well. So, if you have not tried them or you got the wrong one by your mistake or just you were unlucky do not under estimates them. BMW from 2016 and above has scored an excellent evaluation in reliability and won against Mazda and Honda based in experts and customers report. You can just google it and you will know. BMW have been made for drivers who like to enjoy driving. It is a special brand that gives their owner special feeling behind the wheel. If you like to drive boring cars it is your choice but do not under estimates car like BMW please. Thank you
@omaralyousef5917 I would still rather pay for the repairs on a Toyota, Lexus, Honda or Acura than a BMW
