Hey, I wanna know what you think about this. I was planning on getting mse because I was waking up everyday with a stuffy nose and I thought I had too small a palate. I recently went on a diet of high meat, and I think that eating better actually cleared up my mucus, and now I can nose breathe and mew mostly just fine. You think some people who get mse to nose breathe really just need to get healthier to lose all that mucus???

I think the smaller your airways are the smaller your buffer is. So if you had a bigger airway you would probably not get clogged up by eating things you have a slight allergic reaction to.

yeah that makes sense. but for me it wasnt foods that i had a small alergic reaction too, i was just eating very unhealthy for a year and i believe that caused the mucus, now im back to eating relativiely healthy and have stopped my meat diet and im mostly good.@@MrSmashWilliams

    Great clip!
Could you help wirh advice for sleeping at night for my kids.. So our 5 and 3 year old when they sleep on their backs, have their mouths closed .. But in the middle of the night they go on their stomach and mouth breath.. When I’m awake, I manually turn them over but once I’m sleeping then that no longer can happen..
How can I stop them from going to their stomach and mouth breathing?
I’m hesitant to put mouth tape on (especially for the 3 year old)… Any suggestions? Any and all ninja tips would help a lot!
    Thank you so much.

I have a tongue tie but I can mew just fine. Should I still get it removed? I also feel like it's causing my slight speech impediment.

same talking, mewing and swallowing properly don't come natural to me because of my tongue tie I think. Haven't got checked by a proffesional yet though

I'm still quite skeptical about tongue ties.
I have a friend who has a class 2 and a narrow palate of course.
Even so, his jaws developed decently.
His neck posture is perfect, he has no apnea, no TMJD or any neck/back pain.
This makes me think it's more about the airway.
I have also seen children have this procedure done and not because of that their craniofacial development will be perfect from now on.
It does not make much of a change as far as I have seen
So I am still very skeptical about this, I think releasing a "tie" could make the problem even worse.
Also, how do I know that the professional is really qualified for this?
What if he does the procedure wrong? Could he cut parts he shouldn't or cut too little?
Because many maxillofacials do this procedure "frenoplasty" but the question is, will they do it right?
The only one that I have seen that is very popular and seems, SEEMS, to know what he is doing, is Dr Zaghi.
But we can't really be sure, that's the truth.

yea idk, the idea of having the tie released and then just having the tongue fall back into the throat is scary to me

my friend says he had low tongue posture (and deliberately keeps it that way instead of on the roof of his mouth) throughout his whole life and still has one of the strongest jaws I've ever seen in person. Perfect maxillary and mandibular development

Feel like I have a tongue tie that has held me back from progressing further from mewing. I've been mewing for over 5 years now and it sucks that it feels like some of that was wasted. Ironically I scheduled a day to release mine the same day this video came out

For those interested in learning more about tongue-ties, I recommend the work of Dr. Bobby Ghaheri.
