Lots of trees down and corn fields flattened. I was just north of the storm so I’m blessed. Keep Debo and everyone effected by this storm in your thoughts guys! Some aren’t expected to get power back in his town until Tuesday.

Always nice finding lures in great condition. I use to find rapala small/ultra lights every other time i'd go fishing. Half the time found by snagging on tangled line they'd be in.

Daytime bass fishing is tough going right now. I am doing much better fishing at night from 11pm to 2am. Pretty tough to make videos in the dark however, Buzzbaits, Popping baits and walking baits are getting slammed on a regular basis. Big bass are more the rule than smaller ones. Fishing open shallow water and sparse weeds is working best. You have to fish by sound because you can’t see the lure. But you sure hear the explosion. If you never tried it you likely will get hooked on night fishing; once you get the rod yanked almost out of your hand a few times. When you detail the day of fishing on your videos makes them both entertaining and informative too.
Caught my best bass on my kayak when i forgot to load my padel....all i had was a 5 gallon bucket lid in my truck and was determined to fish, that was the deal! 2.5 lbs son! I know its a joke to most people, but i fish mostly creeks for small bass and such. So it was a 🐋 catch for me.

Those are the best days... Start with the struggle but end with some great fish! Recently crashed my brand new boat, but caught my first fish on it later than day plus a few more! I was even featured on boneheaded boaters of the week lol

I also like the 110 size the most. The 90 is a killer for river fish especially smallmouth . If you notice they make different sounds sometimes the 90 is better like when they are feeding on really small bait.
Is that the skum launch? Been using those and they do catch more weeds but the hook up ratio is amazing! And hey the hooks are red so that’s cool. Try out the sexy dawg hard knock, does wonders! Agree on the 90 size but hey free whoppers are free whoppers!!!

Find wood, pitch to wood!!!! It's a rule between my wife and I that if we see wood we throw in there no matter how gnarly it may be because it pays off more times than it doesn't! I love the scum frog's too, great video man thanks for sharing.

I got the story for you debo. I started going out trolling with someone (no one in his family wants to get up early) went several times had some good days and some slow ones. Went to borrow a boat he has that no one uses and we cleaned it up. After we were done he said " it's yours I'll have the title when you get back". 🤯🤯 I couldn't believe it. It needed new trailer lights and a wiring harness (done today) needs trailer modifications because it's on a trailer for John boats(next week's project maybe). I've been on that thing every chance I get. Has rod holders, 25hp motor, and some decking. 3 seats as well. Beats rowing. That thing gits up and goes almost planes out. 😁
That first frog fish was a nice fish man. Good fighter too. Love hooking those 3# and up. Not much feels better in life than hooking a biggie! I like my hooks up a little more than the normal frog. I gotta check out that new scum frog. Nice to see u hooking up with it. Good vid Debo!

Speaking of not putting the plug in the boat. Yesterday I roll up to the launch ramp and I see a sheriff deputy, a capsized 16 foot fiberglass boat, and 2 very disappointed boat owners. Guess they just bought it and it was their first time using it, they had no idea what a plug even was. Took us all like an hour of wading chest deep at the ramp to find a plug for it, get it flipped over, pump the water out and finally get it trailered.

I was watching you describe how you paused to change the camera battery before catching that one, and I was wondering what’s your opinion on how we seem to catch fish when we’re not paying attention, Head turn talking to a buddy, picking out a birds nest,not even looking at the water results in sometimes the only fish of the day, why does that happen?
I like the 110 too, personally. I haven’t tried the loon or the I know it yet though. I’ve caught a couple on the crystal minnow and quite a few on the bluegill color though. It looks like you had a good day though

Deep water drop offs and cover. Shallow they are going to be around some sort of cover. Docks, pads, isolated trees/brush, drop offs, etc.
I like the 110 too, personally. I haven’t tried the loon or the I know it yet though. I’ve caught a couple on the crystal minnow and quite a few on the bluegill color though. It looks like you had a good day though

I use Google maps. Parks and such are highlighted in green.

I don't think topwaters are good searchers, spinners, rapalas anything you can troll with
