Here in the Netherlands we use allot more rebar because we basically live upon a swamp, it actually helps when you have a pour like this. I’ve seen people use chicken mesh between the rebar for the concrete not to move.
i just poured my first sloped project, a driveway approach. i had had concrete flow downhill on a slightly inclined slab before, where the aggregate started to pile together and show through the surface, so i was nervous. i asked for a 3. dude thought i was crazy. it absolutely killed us, 2 man crew. i got heat exhaustion. but it came out OK. i only wish i had edged around the water shutoff valve. and it didnt flow downhill by even one millimeter lol
People who don’t do this type of work have no idea what goes into the planning and effort! Definitely no yoga needed that day! In fact, I’d like to see some yoga folks screed 5 slump up hill!
Mike once again you pull the rabbit out of your hat………. I thought maybe I would’ve started from the bottom and pull to the top of the five slump you did it the right way that’s cause you’re on the business …..I’ll probably had to go to the emergency room after that one take care of your self thanks for the great video Sam bacon
There are no obstacles Mike Day cant handle.

I've been wondering about this last week!!! What a timing! Thanks boss!
Great job. On something that steep do you want a smooth finish

5” slump equals no yoga today! 😂👍
It's not that bad on a 5 inch. 😅😅😅
How do you specify the stiffness? Over here we use abrams cone: I think that would be an 8-10
Maybe I missed it, but what was the "steep" slope percent?
Another great job Mike!!
good flatwork
How do you slope concrete ?

I’m going to buy a new vibra screed, what do you recommend and gas or battery?
For pours like we do a battery is good. More commercial stuff a gas.
It's all on hiring the best 🎉

Anyone who has moved/screeded 4-5" slumps on a slope knows about LABOR. This stuff is like dragging heavy anchor chains.
Boy, that was some easy money.
Title should be how to keep the feds out with this ever so slight slope on this concrete.😂😂😂
Too much slope for the secret service I bet
When the time does come to retire, will Darren & Luke take over your business❓️
The wire police been getting on you lately?
Should be
