I don’t subscribe to the Mormon belief system, but the Mormons that I’ve known have been the absolute best people I’ve ever come across.
I had 2 Mormon families that lived on my street, and they were always so kind and caring of others. They would bring baked goods to neighbors homes, volunteer their time to the needy, they were kind, polite and caring, and their children were such upstanding role models to the other children in the neighborhood. It was really something to see.
I have to admit that when they first moved into the neighborhood, many looked at them with a skeptical eye, and muttered about them behind their backs, but we all ended up eating those words. They were an absolute blessing to the neighborhood.

The criteria for a religion that's agreeable with God is one that has love amongst itself, According to what jesus said, Every religion on earth except Jehovahs witnesses have participated in wars, catholics killing catholics protestants killing protestants mormons killing mormons... Nehemiah I hope you will find what I'm about to say interesting. I'm not Mormon but I think they knew something of our history that may have at one time been more obvious than it is today. We have tested over 15 different unrelated families in the South East US from several states namely Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and South Carolina. We tested Autosomal DNA not x and y as they only trace your father and mother and represent very little of one's true genetic heritage. We tested both black and white Southerners whose families have been in place since the Civil War and the results are surprising. What we found was no or very little British DNA even though there were over 2200 white British participants from all over the UK in the study collected in the UK. This is strange as we all speak English and think we are of British Descent. Moreover every individual matched Jewish population including the DNA collected in Israel. All matched Berber, Sub Saharan African and Iberian. Every individual matched several different native American tribes but mostly Cherokee, Lumbee, Miwok and Athabascan. I tested myself and I matched the same DNA bands and matched Israeli Jew in the database. I was raised believing I was Scot Irish and English. As a result of my test my entire family returned to Judaism but found the belief in the Talmud unacceptable (it's like a new testament) and contrary to what is written in Deuteronomy so we became Karaites. But we hold Deuteronomy as the only Torah because we are told in Deuteronomy over 50 times not to add or subtract anything from what Moses says "this day" we take this literal and observe it. There is a strong movement in the South East US of the fact that our history is incorrect. Some readers will say they got their DNA done on Ancestry or 23andme and they show British. To those individuals please know that you have successfully traced only a small portion of your DNA and it can be argued that you traced the colonizer of your family. We also have Sephardic matches and you can google Melungeon and some of the theories around the word. But it is an absolute fact unless people choose not to believe science that we are not who we think we are and our history is completely wrong. I'm part of this movement to bring this information to light in the very near future.

Dna can be found in all different types of people all over the world, it all depends on what you re looking for, you can find jewish ancestry in me if you're looking for 1 particular type of marker.. And I am definitely not jewish, all these tests are dodgy. One of your recent American senators proved that she was American indian with 0.1% of dna coming from American Indians. Just shows how ridiculous it all is.

I am a product of the cult of early mormonism. My 3rd great grand aunt Rhoda Richards was married to Joseph Smith Jr and Brigham Young. Phineas Richards was a high priest and Dr. Levi Richards was a doctor to Joseph Smith.
Willard Richards was ordained an Apostle, and he was the scribe and historian for the early church.
Willard was present during the murder of Joseph Smith.
The diaries of my Richards ancestors are rich with day to day perspectives of their religion.
I was not raised mormon, my great grandmother and grandfather left mormonism in 1899.

Love you Nehemia! As a faithful LDS/Mormon for many decades I'd like to add a few thoughts and facts:
I am no longer a Mormon because I believe in the One Fold, One Shepherd of the Torah...but I don't regret being a
Mormon all those years! I worked to be a "good member", did the seminary during High School, went through the Temple
and married in the Temple, graduated from Brigham Young University, and so much more.
Jesus Christ is the center of 'good" Mormons. I have been fortunate to have been around very wonderful "christians" there.
Latter Day Saints don't have paid clergy in their "Wards and Stakes" which are localized meeting places. The "apostles" are paid and handsome sums.
My turning from it came with the question of "why do we not worship on the true Sabbath"? The answer from the President' Office was extremely poor and showed a lack of understanding scripture. Folks in the Church don't care, they accept everything by faith. WHAT? More like trust in "arm of flesh" and don't study the WORD for yourself. Hum.
After reading the TOrah, first 5 books of the Bible, and asking the Father to help me understand, I realized we fail to test everything from new writings to who is a prophet and who is not! Does the prophet keep us in line with Torah? Do the new scriptures keep us in line with Torah too?
    Facts I've discovered:
    1) The Father said to me " Can you change the days of Creation?" and of course I answered "no" ...then obviously, you can't change the SABBATH to Sunday, Friday, or any other day.
    2) Are there more than 12 apostles? No, the original eye witness apostles to Yeshua's ministry are judges to the 12 tribes. So
claiming apostleship is wrong. Disciples are fine. But Apostles are separate and distinct. They are our judges. Paul was never accepted by early followers of Yeshua's ministry as an "Apostle". I put Paul on trial and found him to be an AntiChrist. He may talk sweet to hear stuff but I reject him totally because he goes against Yeshua's gospel. We must do our homework. It is scripture based. Douglas J Deltondo, a christian lawyer, wrote "Jesus' Words Only"...great read and only a tip of the iceberg showing Paul as a Liar. Yeshua prophesied about Paul.
    3) Was Joseph Smith a Prophet?.No...he does not stay true to Torah and leads us astray. You can not pick and choose what
you want to obey in the Torah. You can not add to or subtract from it. Yet Smith did just that when he "re-translated the Bible". That was kept from us til only the last few decades.
    4) The book of Abraham Smith wrote from a parchment given to him, was given to a egyptologist to translate and found no
similarity to Smith's translation. It was simply a receipt of items and not all the jargon Smith wrote.
I won't bore you with more but this is enough for starters.
Bottom line: we are individually responsible for our relationship to the Father. Those that do nothing to learn of Him will gain
nothing in the great beyond. "Love Him with ALL our heart, mind and strength" is the FIRST and GREATEST commandment.
I am not going with the "arm of flesh" followers. Those that allow themselves to be lead by pastors, denominations, etc. 1Kings 13 is a must read for us all. It scared sense into me.
When the FAther talks to me, many times He simply gives me scriptures in response. How silly I feel sometimes not seeing things properly before He reveals it.
This video is interesting but having been a Mormon most of my lifespan has not been a bad thing. I grew in grace. I hope to
help inspire others to take the reigns and learn for yourself through thoughtful scripture reading and praying. Everyone is guilty
of going astray from what is really important to the Father.
One Fold and One Shepherd! Shalom!
